Checked this place out this past August. Located in a lovely small town spot in Maine on the road into the town of Belgrade Lakes. A great breakfast stop, taking wonderful covid precautions. You order (masked) inside at the counter, and then your food is passed to you through a takeout window. There are several outdoor tables for outdoor dining if you choose to stay and eat. I ordered a veggie and egg breakfast burrito and my daughter settled on a chocolate croissant and coffee. Burrito had plenty of veggies, (was a little bit thrown by cold salsa wrapped within). I passed up on this place for over a year because of the name since I am not much of a pie guy. But this joint has so much more! The variety of salads, soups, frozen entrees (like lasagnas, unique mac&cheeses, meat dishes) add to the sweet and savory pie offerings which vary daily and can sell out before close so call ahead. Kinda disappointed in this place. Their website advertised meat pies so I was looking forward to trying one. But they make different pies all the time and they only serve certain flavors of pie by the slice. I ended up being so underwhelmed by the pie slice selection, which was only Raspberry which I don't really enjoy. That I ended up getting a Blondie brownie. It is something we highly recommend you treat yourself too! FIVE GIANT STARS!!! This place is fantastic. Charming, friendly, accommodating and DELICIOUS. We drive 20 mins out of the way pretty regularly to get one of their famous cinnamon rolls before they sell out. And they do sell out, EVERY...DAY. And they sell out early! So call ahead and have one set aside for you if you can't get there before 10 am. It smells soooo wonderful when you walk in the door that it's hard to choose just one thing over the other for breakfast or lunch. First, the big reason for the knock, I ordered a fair amount of money on food and no directions with any of the food. Over cooked/heated the pasta, burned the garlic knots, over heated the fish and under warmed the meatballs. Just stopped in here with my coworker and I was not disappointed. He was boating about how good it was here in the few times he'd been and I figured I'd give it a go. They have lots of different things to choose from so selecting what you want, may be difficult. I can't remember what it was I choose as I just went with the last thing listed off (all I remember is that it had bacon and red pepper(I believe), and spinach in it) and it was big so I went out on a limb and tried it. Stopped by for breakfast. Nice selection of pastries and home made goods. They have a very limited breakfast menu, mainly quiche and breakfast sandwiches (when we visited). Great service, outdoor seating and reasonably priced. The broccoli bacon mushroom quiche was spectacular. Perfectly cooked, firm but moist and I loved that they crisped the broccoli that poked out of the top of the quiche...gave it a nice flavor. Also tried the bacon breakfast sandwich, which was not as special as the quiche, but still good. In all, a nice experience and we will return. read more

We've had a number of their fruit pies and they're all sooo good! We like that their pies aren't overly sweetened so you can actually taste all the fresh fruit. Excellent place with excellent service and food. We got a ham and smoked Gouda on a baguette and a chicken salad on baguette. The baguettes fresh from the oven. The ham was real ham. Super high quality and the match with the high quality cheese was great. And it was huge. The chicken salad was big chunks of white meat and also a big sandwich. Everything made here. Baked goods look excellent and we took home a lemon curd cheesecake and red velvet cupcake for tonight. Onion and an everything bagel they make in house for tomorrow morning.
