I'm out of my head in pain. They won't call back or schedule. My insurance is excellent btw and I simply want them to extract the tooth that's causing this pain. They want to charge $400 besides my insurance? I'm in pain and I'm losing my mind. I'd literally try to pull it out if I could. They have failed me for sure. Suffering and searching for help. Is there an honest dentist out there? Good help me forgive them.

Had it been in text book or you looked in my records prior its possible i could have spoken with my dr to see if there is something we could change for the day so i could have gotten the work done. Not to mention they called and said come back at 2:30pm for the second appointment but i get a text message for an appointment at 3pm! No need to talk I will just go to a different doctor and they have already told me due to my health issues i need to get cleared from my doctors! Im ok with that cause they want the business as much as i want my teeth fixed. The office staff needs more training in customer service as a few of the new staff are rude. The office is not open on weekends or after 4:30 pm, so we take time out of our busy schedules for our children. Please don't waste my time and then be rude about it! Possible solution: stop overbooking or understand the staff is not sticking to the time allotted per client & allow more time per appointment. Because making parents take time off work just to be stuck in the office for an extra 30 min every appointment is not good customer service.

I mentioned to him that my gums had been bothering me ever since I had my wisdom teeth removed. Initially, he told me to just ignore it until it became unbearable. This year, the discomfort got worse, so I brought it up again. He referred me to McKinney Associates PIE. When I went there, they told me I had to get a 3D X-ray first--which my insurance doesn't cover--before the doctor could even examine my teeth. The X-ray came back normal. After the X-ray, the dentist began checking my teeth and found that one of my teeth was missing a portion, which is why my gums had been bothering me so badly. I was then told I needed to go back to Dr. Allen to have it fixed. How does that make sense? Shouldn't Melissa Dental have identified this issue before sending me somewhere else? And it didn't end there. I tried to make an appointment to fix the problem, but was told Dr. Allen wouldn't see me without a referral--from the very same specialist he had referred me to. He's my dentist, and I now need a referral to return to him? It's too much. I'm done with them--and so is my entire family.
