Many seats/tables have outlets or USB charging ports. Buffet had warm lunch options, apart from some standard Danish darkbread and toppings. Also had Halal options. Great beer on tap, large wine section and good mix of hard alcoholic options. Together with soda, coffee and tea. Today the warm lunch options were a Thai Curry chicken stew with white rice (not bad at all), and I didn't try the Bean Chili (doesn't feel like a good idea for a long plane ride with many people).. Not as cramped and busy as the other Carlsberg lounge in the "shopping area". More spacing with chairs and probably not crowded due to the passport control and limited flight/gates nearby.

There was a long line for the espresso machine as the second coffee station was out of commission for 20 minutes which made for a wait. Food was decent enough for breakfast fare but I kept expectations low. The yogurt and fruit cups were really good. Stunning views outside as night fell. I personally love to sit at the bar because you have front row seats to see all the action while they prepare the drinks. Located along busy Vesterbrogade north of the meatpacking district, you ring a door bell to get into the waiting area. Once in, the bookshelf opens into the bar space. During the week, they keep the front room open and open the back room on weekends when its more than tourists visiting. The cocktail menu is long, but even better are the bartenders. Taking pride in what they do, you can ask them to make a drink that you like. They appreciate the challenge. My friend and I both did bartender's choice and were pleased with our drinks. We also had fun chatting with the two bartenders. They asked us questions about our hometown and gave us many insights into Copenhagen life and Danish culture.

Not until we spoke to Nicholas at Ruby, who recommended this (amongst some other hospitality pros that we talked to). It explains why the lounge was happening even on week nights at the hotel. They focus on using Scandinavian ingredients in their drinks, a very New Nordic Cuisine approach to beverages. Sometimes the best things are right under your nose!
