Heather was the absolute best!! She sprayed my mom, grandma, 2 bridesmaids, and myself for my wedding and we were all GLOWING! We all got so many compliments on our tans and how natural they looked. I have VERY fair skin especially living in AZ, it's hard in the summer to just lay out and tan, so a spray tan from Heather was exactly what I needed for my wedding! We went on a Friday morning and there was parking right across the street! Heather was so helpful and sent prep details via text that I could share with the gals joining me! Also, it was fun to look around her boutique!! Could not recommend more!!! read more

Well.. Heather took my spray tan virginity. And it was ah-mazing! I had a few photo shoots and it was in the dead of winter. I desperately needed a tan! Heather helped me to achieve a perfect shade a few shades darker than my natural tone flawlessly! Im also a plus size gal, and Heather made me feel comfortable during the entire session. I was also given great aftercare instructions, and the info helped me to have to have a good, even tan for over a week! read more

I cannot explain how much I love Heather! Kicking butt in her business and being an overall lovable person. She makes you feel confident in your own skin. I wish I had a good picture to post but take my word for it when I say I am GOLDEN. My recommendation is don't be afraid of going a little darker than you think!! Trust the process read more

Heather at Hella Tan was really cool and was able to squeeze me into a last minute appointment before I had to fly out to my cousins wedding in Minnesota. I was in and out of there really quickly and the airbrush solution she used worked AHHHMAZINGLY - check the photo for proof #BELFIE #sorrynotsorry. Also her pricing is really good and cheaper than most of the other local businesses that range around $59.00 per session. Definitely recommend coming here and if you can't, she makes house calls, which is super lux! I'll be back!! read more

If I could give 10 stars I would! I just got certified by Heather to do spray tanning and I absolutely had the best experience. She is so knowledgable, down to earth and personable. She made me feel comfortable right away and I loved her vibe. Her space is in a perfect location and is super cute. After learning everything about Spray tanning I got to practice on 2 models and then I got spray tanned by Heather. I loved my tan!!! Hella Tan - Spray Tanning Near Me - Auburn, California

I never wanted a spray tan because my first experience was in one of those awful machines....where you stand like a robot. After that hot Cheeto mess I was never going to do it again.... Fast forward 15 years and your girl is very pale....taking care of my skin as we do with age. Decided to take the dive and went to Heather - I expressed my worries about the awful Orange experience and she talked me through prep, made sure I was using the best products before and after and gave me the most beautiful color. She didn't go too dark because I expressed worry / Application was flawless - even my hands and feet looked amazing. It went so well I couldn't wait to go darker. read more

I don't recommend being spray tanned here. I was 3 different shades on both arms and legs. The owner is nice and offered refunds and free spray, but I didn't want to have another spray that could potentially end up bad like the first time with her. read more

I recently got airbrushed by Heather at Hella Tan for my best girlfriends bachelorette party. I went from light skin to a beautiful bronzed tan that looked like I just stepped off the beach in Hawaii! She was very sweet, professional and made sure I was happy with the color. I will be having Heather tan myself along with five of my girlfriends for my besties wedding coming up. Do yourself a favor and go with the best spray tanner around! P.s. I really couldn't have asked for a better experience - from communicating with Heather to the actual tan to payment to how well the tan developed, you absolutely won't find a better spray tan in San Diego. I decided I'd go to Heather's salon instead of having her come to me. She gave super detailed instructions on how to find it. Her place is cute, and she is a great balance of fun and professional/knowledgeable. While getting ready for work this morning I was already thinking of what upcoming occasions I have that I'll go back for a tan. Love it! read more

She came out to my house in pilot hill at 9 pm and got me in super last minute. She was super nice and didn't make me dark at all. I wanted a light natural tan. I had no smudge marks and it was all 100% even. I'm definitely going to call her again. I wasn't sure how it would work at my house but she brings a pop up tent and it's super quick. Support your locals and use her services! read more

Heather was so responsive and followed-up after every tan. I had never had a spray tan before, and she really put me at ease and let me know that no question was a bad question! Heather was awesome!! The spray tan application went smooth and easy. She invested in a new spray applicator which sprays on warm which was a plus! I will be coming back for future appointments. The price is the best in town. I also purchased a sunless spray tan can from her. This is not like your typical sunless spray. Comes out just like the actually spray tan for nice touch up. Had a nice dark brown spray to it that has uses a very good DHA chemical dye (no orange). Thanks once again Heather!! read more

I. Love. Hella Tan. Heather has, like, a decade of experience and she's the best tanner in the city, I won't go anywhere else! She's always on time, cheerful, and positive, making it easy to feel comfortable stripping down in front of her. She really makes me glow from the inside out :) I like to have my face sprayed just a little bit more than what's typically done so that it covers up any blemishes/scars without makeup, but Heather is the ONLY person that I trust to do this! I really appreciate how she follows up to see if I have any questions/concerns and I honestly don't know why other tanning businesses don't do that! I don't tan very often and I always have a few moments of shock about the color, but Heather is so calm and knowledgeable that I have complete faith and no paranoia when she tans me. read more

I visited San Diego for an event and was referred to Heather by a friend. She was not only friendly, fast and professional but the tan was perfect. I am very fair and usually end up orange with streaks. I was hesitant to even try a spray tan again but my friend assured me she was great. She did an amazing job. I had a beautiful brown even tan and it faded evenly in as well. I will definitely be using her again. I wish I could find someone in Texas with the same skills. read more

Had never had a spray tan before and wanted to look my best for graduation and found Heather on yelp. She was nice, flexible with timing, made sure I knew what to do to prepare and how to maintain it as long as possible, and best of all she came to me!! I'm a spray-tan guru. After my mom got diagnosed with skin cancer, I said heck no to tanning beds and heck yes to spray tans. I can say with confidence this is the best spray tan I've ever received. No streaks, no lines, no orange hue. This tan looks all-natural and I am still dark after 3 showers and a whole day in the pool. I'd highly recommend for your next event or just for fun! read more
