I went to Helios on a whim with a friend when we visited Versailles palace. We were pleasantly surprised with how good it was and enjoyed our meal. I love my chômage chaud and wished it was bigger. I wasn't in love with Piña Colada, but I did enjoy the piazza while it was hot and fresh. I though the peppers were a bit mushy for my liking and would have been better if they were green but red seems popular here. The fries were amazing and the mayo/Dijon mustard sauce was addicting. Overall would definitely recommend if your in Versailles, there are nice options and even though the service is a little iffy the food come quick enough and is delicious, which matters the most. read more

Really good food here! Great service by Radis our server. He speaks many languages and has perfect recommendations for dinner & desert. I had the hanger steak with sautéed onions, fries and salad. We also had the croque monsieur, and a bottles of saumer champigny. Dessert was chocolate mousse. Yum!!! read more

Tourist trap. I had a very gross salad. It was essentially a mound of meat with dressing squirted on top. And the cappuccino was buried in a layer of whipped cream. I only recommend drinking alcohol if you decide to come here! That being said, there is lots of space to sit outside but it's on a main drag rather than a quiet street. read more

Don't make this mistake like we did. Skip to the end if you want a quick summary Well we ran in here quick as a relief from the rain. We saw a good beer list and the food looked decent. Yes the beer list was good, no the food was not. We were greeted quickly, which was good considering all the other reviews of slow service. Ordered a beer, it was good and cold. Seemed fine so far. Then we started reading the reviews as we looked at the menu, and said yes to food on accident, should have said no. I got the Brochette Royale Pub, which was a plate of mixed meats and she got Pave de Rumstek (steak frites). When it came all seemed fine until we cut into our steaks. As Gordon Ramsay would say "It's f*****g raw!" Mine was completely raw, both pieces, and hers was raw as well. We asked to take them back and when they returned, they were leather (luckily my bacon and sausage were still there). Hers was inedible leather and the chef took half of it off  the plate and didn't return it and mine was cooked better but tough as well. The couple next to us ordered steak and a burger and hers was leather and his burger was raw ground meat. We discussed our meals with them as we were both upset. TLDR; The long and short of it was, don't get food here. If you want coffee or a drink, fine, just don't get the food. Our last night in Paris for a halfway decent meal wasn't so great. read more

Do not eat here. We have spent 2 weeks traveling and it was the worst meal we have had, and the worse restaurant meal I have had in a long time. It looked so cute from the outside, and promising when we walked in. Awful service, awful food. One waiter that was incapable of communicating to almost every customer, and I heard English, French and Spanish being spoken. And another waiter that was just about useless. We both ordered dishes that contained cuts of beef. Both were raw meat. Like not even slightly pink. Seared on the outside pink on the inside. Both of us, keep in mind 2 people of the maybe 10 in the restaurant. The server hastily took our plates back, and after about another 10-15 minutes our food was back. While we waited we were left with a a basket of bread. Okay this is France the bread has to be good right? Ahah no. It was past stale. Fake bread would have been better. Elvish bread from LOTR is better looking and probably tasting. Our food returned it had been reheated/cooked and my boyfriend's was cooked to a much better color/temperature. Mine was not. Mine was leather. Over-cooked, chewy leather. I will eat my steak med-rare - well done whatever the want to give me, but not inedible. And while they regrilled the beef, the fries got cold. So I was left with over cooked steak and fries. Then the lovely couple next to us received their meals. The lady ordered duck, and the gentleman ordered a cheeseburger. The duck, was basically concrete she could barely get a knife through it. The burger raw. Basically tartar that had been seared and slapped on a bun, and a piece of cheese draped over it. So now 3 of 10. Moral of this story: dont eat here. When 30% of patrons receive raw beef, other food was below sub-par it's not a good choice. read more

Don't bother unless you just want drinks, or fries. The coffee and mouse were tasty. I guess it is just not good for dinner. Should have read before we came; however we were hungry. The restaurant has curb appeal. Don't judge a book by its cover. read more

Why, why didn't I check Yelp???!!! Went to Versailles and left way too hungry. Asked for the chicken and told it was white meat (breast) if we wanted. They bring out a great thigh. It wasn't a language issue as he repeated it back with certainty. Wife got the pizza. Gross and inedible. Big mistake.. learn from ours. read more

Good food and good service. Nice atmosphere. If you want to watch the World Cup they have several TVs that you can see from most any table.
