This ain't no April Fool's as I came on this day even after errands that took me a block from Costco gas the line was beyond insane that I just simply left as the price there currently was $5.17 it was a great deal though with fee it's not as once it all is said and done. This Hele which is convenient for me has constantly remained reasonable at $5.29 does have reward for those who don't know it's free with the app just enter promo code to your card and it's $0.25 off making it $5.04!!! It is cash but I tell you every single pump was occupied and that says a lot along with a nice and clean convenience store with squeegee, air and vacuum found here they have it all for the kama'aina that will keep me Hele on down. If costco is closed hele is my next in line gas station. With the kamaaina card you can get a discount on gas no matter what day. It used to be on thevweekends only but now it's any day. There food is also good if you're hungry or thirsty. read more

Gasoline in Honolulu, Hawaii... This gasoline station might be more convenient for those who live "in town." Located on the right side of King Street, before Straub Hospital and Clinic, Hele Gasoline posted $4.43 per gallon for cash purchases. Because I have the Hele app, I went inside the attached convenience store, paid cash on a weekend, and got 25 cents off of the Credit Card price ($4.28 per gallon, instead of $4.53 per gallon). The cashier was friendly and helpful! He scanned the barcode on my phone (after he waited patiently for me to get my phone from the car... LOL!) The store was clean, bright, and tidy! (I didn't look at the snacks, but I know they were there.) There were no lines for gasoline! Yay! I'll be back again soon! read more

Easy to find and gas part is fine. They could put paper towels out for the car wiper fluid but whatever. What made me think of writing a review is yesterday I tried to put air in my tires and I swiped my card to pay but then I noticed the card machine said "offline" and then I noticed the air machine says call 833-282-0979 for service so I did and the automated person said it was out of service. Convenient location at a corner. We needed gas for the rental car and this was on our way to the highway. 12 pumps and has diesel and unleaded. Appears much cleaner than other stations I've seen around. read more

For some strange reason, this particular Hele gas station consistently has lower prices for their gas! Located just across da street from da Alapai Bus Transit Station, you can find a Nom Nom convenient store attached with this Hele Gas Station. I think they got about 8 pumps, and the gas station is pretty spacious. I rarely go to this location, as I mostly stick to the Hele Gas Stations towards the eastside, but if I need gas, and happen to be in this area, this is a great gas station to go to for cheap gas! read more

Quick in and out for some gas. Feels like any other gas station that I've been to. Gas, snacks, drinks....standard fare. I had no issues and the gas price was good for the area. Did look relatively clean from what I saw. Should be fine to stop here if you need something. read more

Worker constantly parks his car blocking the pump close to the store on the right side, which messes with the flow when there are a lot of people filling up. He should park in a PARKING SPACE -- if all the parking is used up and a customer had to park in front of a pump, at least that customer would leave eventually, letting anyone behind them through. read more

Gas is consistently cheaper here than other nearby stations. Good place to go if you don't have time for Costco. Food here is hit or miss. Sometimes they have good sandwiches but usually you are better off at 7-11. read more

They do not carry 'Mexican Coca-Cola' They have air pumps that you must pay for. They have 6-8 individual pumps. All featuring LOW MED and HI grade gasolina. The sliding entry/exit door is no longer aloud as they got it blocked off with merchandise. So you must use the regular handle door for exit and entry. read more

I'm so pissed off right now! If I could use an explicit gesture as a rating, I would. We frequent this Hele gas station almost EVERY MORNING before I start work. Today I walked to Hele after my final IREM class, decided to wait outside for the wife before heading inside to grab a snack. Arrived at 356p. I was out there until 408p when the cashier "Jerilyn" came out and told me that HER MANGER said I couldn't stand there... Didn't ask my purpose for being there, just assumed I was loitering. Loitering by definition means being in one place with no purpose. I explained to "Jerilyn" that I was waiting for my wife and then we're going inside and make a purchase so she stated that they will give me 3 mins, I laughed at that so she changed it to 5 mins. Soon as "Jerilyn" returned to her counter, my wife pulls up. I had my wife park the car at the gas pump and made her aware of what just transpired, then waited in our vehicle while she made the purchase. I decided not to go inside the store before I do anything THEY will regret. Since she recognized my wife, "Jerilyn" started to scramble for excuses to tell her. This cashier "Jerilyn" is fortunate. It's an expensive highly convenient gas station. I dropped someone off at Kinkos on South St, ran and got some gas, and was back before they were done making their copies. I paid for the convenience but it sure beats possibly running out of gas trying to get somewhere less expensive. read more

When I'm running low on gas and can't get to Costco, I fill up here at Hele on the corner of King and Cooke streets. They give a cash discount, and they are also currently offering an additional 5 cents off per gal for Kamaaina Rewards members (15 cents off on Saturdays and Sundays!). Just be sure to show your card to the cashier if you're paying inside (he'll tell you when to swipe) or swipe your card at the pump before swiping your credit/debit card to get the discount. If you're hungry or thirsty, they have a great selection of snacks and beverages to quench your thirst or appetite. read more

An excellent location and low prices keep me coming back to this gas station. Several automatic gas pumps are available. You can simply insert your credit or debit card and seconds later fill your tank. I have never been in the store here though. It looks fantastic from a distance. The ladies here are always so sweet and kind. I was just in and a woman I haven't seen before was working. She was so nice and seemed to be having a great time with the other customers. When I get to the counter not a smile or a hello, doesn't ask for my loyalty card. I had to ask her if I could use my loyalty card for the purchase. I went there to grab a soda. The cashier, Linda proceeded to argue with me after I threw out a sup of flat soda. She told me I needed to pay for the cup. I told her that was fine. She then snatched my ID out my hand after i asked her for a pack of cigarettes. I checked her for snatching my ID and she proceeded to deny me service. She is very unprofessional. This was always my go to station when it was Tesoro, so convenient and always open. Tonight I drove in to what is now Hele at 9pm and they were placing all the chains across the entrances. I asked why and was told they close at 10pm. read more
