I keep coming back and I keep being satisfied. Jill is amazing at bringing sad dead hair back from the grave. One cut with Jill and I went from looking like "Radagast The Brown" to feeling like a Rock-N-Rolla. Healthy shining hair and my natural curl are back in the game. The skill, ability to truly listen, and sheer awesomeness of this salon never disappoints! read more

I am so happy that I found the right salon for me. I did my research on the Hand Tied Hair Extensions for awhile, came across Blush n' Blow and decided to schedule a consultation with Nikki. Mind you, this is a 90 minute drive for me and the fact that I continuously make this trip, you know they deliver quality service. Nikki thoroughly explained the process of the extensions for me and how maintenance works for them. They are definitely an investment but so worth it. Nikki then introduced me to Jill (the best colorist I have ever had do my hair)!! Jill really cares about the integrity of your hair and makes sure that you have the best color possible. Together Nikki and Jill make the best team in the hair game. Thank you ladies so much for helping me feel even more beautiful. read more

Just got back from an appointment with Nikki for hair extension installation and I am SOOO happy! I initially heard about blush n blow/ hand-tied hair extensions through my sister. She got them installed approx a month ago and I knew I had to do it too; they are game changing! It was my first time having hair extensions, and Nikki did an amazing job. She was super professional, and made sure to explain everything: from washing and maintaining the extensions, to styling them. Every step of the way, she made sure that I was happy with how my hair was looking. Nikki is really an expert! The atmosphere of the salon is also really nice and laid-back. Nikki and Jill are super friendly and easy to talk to. They made my 2-hour hair appointment go by quickly with their personable conversation! I will surely be returning and I am in love with my new style :) read more

I've never been so disappointed in how I left a salon. I went to Blush n' Blow for hair and makeup for my engagement photos. My hair was flat and lifeless and the makeup, outside of just being poorly done, was so far from the natural look I wanted. I shouldn't have even paid for the services, but I was so desperate just to get out of there so I could get home and do it myself. read more

Jillian is AMAZING! I Originally came here to have a blowout for a wedding and decided to return for a curly haircut with Jill. I am so happy that I did! The haircut that I had previously was not for curly hair and was really weighing it down giving me a kind of Ronald McDonald mullet look. She actually listened to what I wanted and cut my hair while it was dry and curly. I walked out with the best haircut I've ever had. I Had come so accustomed to being told what kind of haircut I needed at other salons that it was a godsend to actually get the haircut I wanted for a change. I will never go anywhere else! read more

Heir Theory - My hair is happy to be herself!! - Makeup Artists Near Me - Harrison, New York

I have mixed feelings. I loved the place, very clean, fun, and professional. I paid 180 for a bridal trial for hair and makeup and was very happy with what they did. I was so excited I wanted to book them on the spot. I was told they can def do my wedding and would get back to me on pricing. They never did. I have left three messages, all leaving my phone number and email.. have not gotten a response. I even stopped by in person to ask for pricing and confirmation of my wedding and was told to leave my contact info. It is now over a month and I have been forced to move on to find another makeup and hair artist. I have also left two emails in that time. Mind you, getting an appointment for the bridal trial was not easy or fun either. It took two phone calls and three emails to get someone to call me back. I was patient bc I heard great things. I was happy with my trial.. but again.. with this poor communication with clients I don't understand how anyone can be expected to go back again, especially the lack of service I got after paying that price for a trial. All I needed was one follow up call or email. One. I will not be going back. Update: I found someone else who responds in a timely manner, was way more gentle with my hair and makeup, AND was priced better. Side by side photos too was a big difference. Blush and blow did not do such a great job as I initially thought. read more

I absolutely love it here! Nikki is the best, she really makes you feel at home. The products they use are amazing, (and smell amazing) I can't wait to purchase some the next time I go in for a blow out. When you go here you know you're leaving with a beautiful blowout for a great price. Highly recommend Blush n' Blow for your hair and make up needs! read more

I LOVE my spray tan! Such a beautiful salon! She treated me so well. I'll definitely be back!

I left blush n' blow feeling like a million bucks! I walked out of the salon feeling so glamorous and beautiful. The girls really are so amazing and talented! Jill and Nikki made a great team giving me full blown transformation glam! I wouldn't go anywhere else for hair and makeup. Definitely recommend this place and will be returning soon. read more

I really used to like going to this place, but it is currently CLOSED! It says it's closed for renovations. Their website says they will re-open April 13, 2019. Even though Yelp says it is open, they are definitely CLOSED for now. :( read more

I was very excited to try this salon after driving by it all the time and seeing the great Yelp reviews. I booked an early haircut and blowout for New Year's Eve. While parking, five minutes before my appointment was scheduled, I get a phone call that my appointment had to be canceled due to a medical emergency of a stylist. Since I was already at the salon I went in, almost breaking my ankle from the ice outside their door, to talk to the receptionist. Understanding that this way unplanned and emergencies happen I told the receptionist that I had a two hour time frame before I left for my trip and asked if they could squeeze me in. Having it be a Sunday and New Years Eve I knew it would be impossible to find another place to take me in my time crunch. The receptionist was not able to help me whatsoever saying they were too busy and gave me a gift card saying to come back another day. I told the receptionist I did not want to come in another day, I just wanted my hair done for New Year's Eve! I understand that emergencies happen, but I wish the salon would have been able to squeeze me in, as it caused a load of unexpected stress when it was not my fault in the first place. I also felt it was very unprofessional to inform me when I was already outside the building that my appointment had to be canceled. read more

I came here to get a blow out, i was going to dinner that night for my birthday. I really wanted to treat myself and wanted to look really good in pics, my hair actually looked good that morning and i wanted to cancel but i told myself i owed this to myself and i should splurge! I even told the girl this. I walk in for my appointment, i was greeted but nobody took my coat or gave me a robe...ok. After going back and forth with the girl (dont remember her name) i told her my hair was really fine and thin and she told me hers was too, so i had really high hopes that she would know what to do with mine, i told her what i wanted and even showed her a picture. First red flag is she didnt use ANY product, i didnt say anything, i thought she had a plan, i was hopeful. She did the blow out with me facing away from the mirror so i had no idea what i looked like. She was at it for a while but i could just tell it wasnt going to end well for me. When i was "done" before the big reveal, while she swiveled me back to the mirror she said "well, you're hair didn't want to do much today"... are you effin kidding me? i have never seen my hair look so bad. so i sat there thinking she was going to make it right, maybe plug in a curling iron or something, i was in shock, especially when she walked passed me and said "lets get you checked out". Apparently i had been dismissed. Needless to say, never again. Don't waste your time, don't waste your money. read more

I love how chic and friendly the salon is. Lex used hot tools and did exactly what I wanted. I loved the result even though my hair is very complicated to work with because of how straight and thick it is! I definitely recommend this place and I shall go back soon! read more

Absolutely wonderful service and just so friendly. Nikki did my eye makeup for an event that I had the other night and it looked fantastic not only in person, but also in all the pictures. I get my wash cut and blow here with Jackie and she is AMAZING! She's fast, reliable , super friendly and her work is simply the best. My first experience with getting a spray tan and it was amazing! Nikki was super helpful, informative and professional. I was so afraid of an orange outcome but the results look just as natural as sitting in the sun. Bush and Blow is in a great location (with easy parking) and very well decorated. It's definitely a repeat for me and highly recommended! read more

This salon is so cute! They squeezed me in on a Saturday and my hair came out phenomenal! I believe Natalie (sorry I might have forgotten) did my blow out and she was so great! I have long thick hair and she did it in 30 minutes! I will definitely be coming back on a weekly basis. Thank you! read more

I recently got married on June 1st & Nataly did my makeup for my wedding, needless to say she did an AMAZING job!!! From the moment I met Nataly, you could see she truly is passionate for what she does. She really listened to the vision I was going for and made the whole process seamless and comfortable. Day of the wedding she took her time and made sure every detail of my makeup was perfect. She even stayed to touch me up after my ceremony which I owe her my life for lol. If you're looking for bridal hair and makeup she is definitely the person to hire! I cannot wait to use her for upcoming events. read more

DO NOT BOOK AN APPOINTMENT HERE. I made an appointment well in advance of my event (I needed my makeup done for my engagement photoshoot). I received a confirmation email, a follow up confirmation email before my appointment asking me to confirm my appointment (which I did) and 2 confirmation text messages. I even called the salon to ask if they could give me a blow out before my makeup appointment. The receptionist put me on hold while she asked her manager and then let me know that her manager responded that they only did makeup appointments on Tuesday so they could not accommodate a blow out but my appointment was still scheduled as planned for makeup with Nikki. Great. So I show up to my appointment and lo and behold the salon is closed. After frantically calling the salon and emailing I finally give up and book another makeup artist by some miracle last minute (De Cara Makeup by Ashley at Salon Posh, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!). I then get an email response that they're so sorry for the inconvenience and they can offer me a "discount" on their services for next time. What the owner should have done is had the decency to call me to apologize instead of offering me a lousy discount. You have my number right? I had to enter it several times along with my credit card to reserve an appointment. But you can't be bothered to call? Cool. I've never experienced such unprofessionalism and now know not to deal with this mediocre salon. If you're looking for a makeup artist, find a salon that actually respects their appointments and cares about their clients. There are hundreds of other great salons in Westchester that actually honor their appointments. This wasn't for some random event this was for my engagement photo shoot - as a result I just barely made my shoot on time and was super stressed out about having to find a new makeup artist literally at the last minute. Their online booking system clearly doesn't work, they don't check their confirmed appointments, and they blamed their receptionist instead of just taking responsibility for the multiple check points that don't work at this salon. Incredibly disappointed and wished I had never bothered to book here! read more

i hate to even have to write this but i feel like it's only fair considering how poorly i was treated today. i had an appt this afternoon and as usual, i call and double check what i'm booked for to ensure i'm not wasting my time. it's about an hour compute for me. i am told i am only booked for a haircut and since it's with Nikki, she won't wash my hair. she only does dry cuts. i was immediately confused because i had booked a move up, color touch up & haircut. so i ask why i'm not booked anymore and i was told that they "didn't have time today" & can fit me in next week. so i agree for next week to make sure i'm provided all the services i booked. not even 15 minutes later i get a confirmation email saying my appt for today and next wednesday has been cancelled and i have been charged $152.00. i have been coming to Blush n' Blow for almost 2 years and never would've thought this would happen. when i called to ask what had happened, they said it's the "policy". i said even if i rescheduled the appt and Nikki told me "yes". very poor communication and absolutely no empathy on what they just did to me. wrongfully charged me for canceling because they "didn't have time" what haircuts don't come with a wash??? this is the ONLY place i've ever heard that from. anyway ladies, save your $$$ and find somewhere that actually CARES! read more

Absolutely obsessed with this salon. Between Nataly (main stylist) who does the best blow outs and Nikki (the owner) does fabulous spray tans for reasonable prices! The staff is always so friendly and the place is so sterile you could preform surgery in there! Five stars xox read more

This place is fabulous! They are so accommodating, and I've gotten so many compliments on my hair and makeup!!! What a great gem!

This blow out bar is my absolute FAVORITE ! From the extremely talented stylist to the amazing make up artist I couldn't imagine anyone else getting me dolled up for a big party or just drinks with friends ! Nikki who is not only thead makeup artist she is also the proud owner. Her makeup skills would make anyone feel like a top model. When it comes to a blow out, Nataly, Lex and Jill are the only people touching my not so easy hair! They are all such a joy to be around. All in all blush n blow always makes me feel at home and I've never left un satisfied with any of the ladies who work there (and believe me there have been weeks I've spent a day or two there weekly) so I've basically become an expert. Love love love you guys ! read more

Ran in for a quick haircut and was thrilled with the results. Lex was the stylist and she did exactly what I asked for and the price was very reasonable! I will be back! read more

Probably the worst salon experience ever... The stylist has nails so long that she only sticks them in your scalp instead of washing your hair properly. After that she applied conditionner without asking if I wanted it or not and when I sat on the chair for the blow dry she started using a hairbrush that was so full of hair from previous clients that you could not even see the bristles. GROSS!! That was it! I had to leave because of the lack of hygiene, so with my hair soaking wet I went home to wash my hair again and style it myself!! Also the stylist had an attitude as soon as I walked in the salon, telling me to go sit down because she needed to go to the bathroom!!! REALLY?? do I need to know that ?? never introduced herself and never a smile, had to ask her what her name was.. think it was Lex but not even sure at this point. I have traveled the world and been in the best salons, my mistake was thinking that I could go to a small local place for a simple wash and blow dry.. Oh and by the way they also asked me for my credit card info to book the appointment!!! INCREDIBLE for a blow dry! They have no sense of customer service or basic hygiene, and were not even apologetic when I said I had to leave. Very unprofessional. read more

I work in NYC and have hated every blowout I've gotten at the blow dry bars in the city, so I was so happy to find a local one that I loved! I've been coming to Blush n' Blow ever since it opened. The staff are friendly and professional, the place is so well decorated, great location and it's so convenient - Hair, make up and spray tan all in one place (perfect for wedding season!!) I come here mostly to get blowouts before the weekends but have gotten my makeup done for special occasions as well. I've been happy with all their services and highly recommend! read more

Blush N Blow is a great addition to the town of Harrison, the owner and her staff are super friendly. The prices for the services offered are very reasonable.
