If you're going for nail services it's in the back. It's dark. The chairs and footbowls are black and red and they look worn. They don't use the liners either. I would have walked out but I left work late and they were the only place open at that time and I needed to get my nails done that evening. Also, I want to say upfront that there was a bit of a language barrier, which may have led to some confusion. I asked for a regular pedicure. When I arrived the lady tried to give me a manicure. No. Just a pedicure. I sat in the chair. She brought me the rings with the polish colors. I picked one out. It wasn't until she brought out the uv light that I realized she brought me the gel colors. I repeated--I wanted a REGULAR pedicure. Mind you, she hasn't painted anything yet. She brings back another set of rings. The colors aren't quite the same. I asked if maybe we could layer 2 colors to get the same effect as the color I originally picked. She said yes. She brought them back. I told her to try it on ONE toe to see if it would come out like we hoped. She tried to do all and I stopped her before she moved on. No--just ONE first. She looked frustrated. Oh well. It clearly made no sense to paint them all. So she waited for the bottom color to dry and painted the other color on top. (Again just on ONE test toe). I'm glad I told her to wait because it looked muddy and horrible. At this point I was like, "please get me some paper slippers and I'll get up and find a color I like". She did and I did. Again--thus far she has only painted a single test toe. I found a color and she painted the rest. I got my eyebrows done and the sign said $5 eyebrows. A different lady did them. She asked if I wanted razor or wax. I said wax. (The job wasn't great but I could fix it later) I went to pay and the total was $10 more than I expected. Apparently the eyebrows were $10 for wax instead of $5 for razor. There was no sign that said that and the lady never disclosed that. I was ticked, but $10 for wax is standard so whatever. Then where's the other extra $5? They said "oh the other lady said you made her change your nail polish 3 times." So now I'm getting charged extra for CHOOSING the color before she painted my nails??!That's insane. They kept saying that that's what she told them and she already left so there's nothing they could do. Nope! I refused to pay it. They finally agreed to let me pay the price I initially agreed to pay. I don't like the secret pricing--be upfront. And I certainly didn't like the lady trying to charge me extra for LOOKING AT different colors. That's ridiculous. Also I mentioned the language issue. I personally understand Spanish well but can't speak it very well. I heard her complaining earlier about me, but hey, I told her from the beginning that I wanted a regular pedicure. Why bring me gel colors? She was either going to try to upcharge me or deceive me because she thought I would just go along with it. I know a lot of ppl who have had it happen to them. She's mad because I was the wrong one! In the end my nails were painted a color I didn't like as much, because outside of the gel colors, their selections are poor. But my nails were done. I'll never go back there again, though.

If I could give this place negative stars, I would. I have never experienced such an unprofessional atmosphere in my life. I booked my sister a trial for her wedding. Called on a Friday to speak to the owner and she never called back. I called again the following week and asked to speak to her. Receptionist called back saying she had relayed the info from the owner. After explaining to the receptionist 3 TIMES what the occasion was and where the wedding would be she gave me prices that did not match anything that was on their website. We go to the trial where I had specifically asked for the owner to do, only to find out another stylist would be doing my sister's hair and had no clue that it was even a trial for a wedding!!! She then took 30 min to get her tools ready and all in all took over 2 HOURS to just curl her hair. When we finally went to pay for the trial there was visible discussion on the floor as they were all whispering and debating what they would charge us (I can't think of a more unprofessional way to go about that). My mother asked the girl at the desk to talk to the owner 3 TIMES (after waiting 10 min to get an EXTREMELY OVERPRICED amount for the trail), she finally got up out of a chair after she was done doing her OWN HAIR. She was rude and disrespectful. After explaining to her what the receptionist had told me on the phone, she took no responsibility for the miscommunication and ultimately blamed ME for not asking to speak to her (I had told her TWICE that I called to speak to her and she never called me back). After asking her multiple times what certain hair styles would cost for our bridal party, she was stumbling and could barely answer the question saying it was more expensive w the hair stylist that had done the trial (something I was never told!!) After being in the salon for over 2 and a half hours we left and were extremely disappointed. We had gone to that salon bc the prices seemed reasonable online and when we got there the stylist they had assigned us was "from the city" and charged hundreds of dollars to do one person's hair (not at all what we asked for or were looking for). I have never left somewhere so frustrated and annoyed in my life. Dianna does not know how to run a business and should be embarrassed about how she handled the situation. read more

They are quick to solve any problems with expertise and finesse. Diana has helped my daughter through many events including preparing her for headshots for modeling to last minute prep appearances for channel 12 news as "Ms Teen Hudson Valley" Diana fixed my daughters hair before she walked in the "St Patrick's Day Parade" As well as doing a last minute updo for her appearance with Wetchester County Executive Rob Astorino. First time to visit this salon. Excellent service, as soon as I walked in, they made me feel so comfortable with sincere smiles. Dianna asked me what color I have used, I told her I used Mahogany brown, she did the coloring. Then Eric washed the color out shampooed, conditioned and put glazed on my hair.It was so relaxing! As when he was doing the steps he explained to me what he was doing on how these things will improve my hair look ( my hair was very dry). Then, Christine dried my hair, again very nice. Dianna cut my hair and also gave me tips about growing my bangs to frame my face, I had never had a beautician recommended this, it made sense to me. I just used my 3 groupons, but will be coming for more! Cathleen is amazing! My hair is very long and very thick and most stylist don't do a good job with a blow dry, but she does! Everyone can blow dry the hair straight, but not everyone can blow dry it with the soft waves/curls. My hair is always so soft and silky and it looks like Victoria's Secret models' hair with soft waves/curls. I always get lots of complements. I highly recommend Indulgence Blow Dry in Mt. Kisco, especially Cathleen! The lounge is also conveniently located, next to the Mt. Kisco GAP with lot's of parking spots available. read more

This place was great! Carolyn gave me an amazing keratin treatment and I couldn't be happier. It was totally worth coming up from Manhattan to enjoy a sophisticated and stylish atmosphere and the same level of service I would've gotten in Soho for less. There was a bridal party there while I was getting my hair done and I couldn't believe how amazing the styles on each of the girls were- it was very fresh and high fashion and not the least bit too overdone. Best salon I have ever been to.. Jenny does my color and Diana does my cut and extentions. I get endless compliments on my color. What she does is amazing, she is the only stylist I have ever told to do whatever she wants to my hair color wise. I recently came in because even though I am only 24 I am starting to have some greys along the side of my hair. Dianna was able to discreetly color the sides of my hair so it did not look overly done and covered the greys. They offered me private appointments in case I was uncomfortable for any reason which made me feel better about being a guy getting color. read more

I went to another salon to try and get the incorrect color lifted. Forty five minutes of hair color CPR did nothing, concluding that she DID NOT use a semi-permanent dye as requested. Talk about total incompetence!!!!!!!!! You might have to take an uber from where you are able to find parking. The salon has no parking, side streets are for apartment renters and the street they direct you to park on is bumper to bumper with parked cars from other businesses. Be prepared to be VERY disappointed if you decide to make an appointment here.

I cannot remember the last time I was this happy with a haircut…read more.. Yesterday was my first appointment at the Artist House for a styling with Jovan. As soon as I walked through the door, I was taken with the bright, clean and fresh atmosphere of the salon. Her staff is friendly, professional, and they all made me feel at home. I have been wearing my hair in the same basic style for decades... the long-layered cut my generation knows as "the Jaclyn Smith cut". With the retirement of my former hairstylist, I had let my hair go far too long while looking for another stylist, so Jovan had to basically restyle the entire head. I had expected some bumps or issues that would have to be corrected in the next visit, as has been typical my entire life. But... I never expected a gorgeous haircut and style on the first visit! As I blow dried my hair this morning, I, too, was blown away.... even on a horribly humid summer day... my hair fell right into place. I'm SO thrilled with my hair style, Jovan... thank you so much!
