We drove for a few minutes in country time (20 minutes or so in the rest of the worlds time)... and we ended up at the most incredible cider house and orchard. Because we are fast approaching Halloween, the orchard was littered with pumpkins and halloween paraphernalia. Upon entering into the store, you are overwhelmed with fabulous candles, jams and kitschy country decorations. The second floor is what intrigued me.... Cider, Apple wine, (cysers) and delicious apple ice wine. The winemaker / cider maker here did a fabulous job of making a flavourful, dry fruit wine. And the price is great. If you can find the place, I recommend going there for a sunday drive. you will not be disappointed.

The main walking path is probably around 1/3 of a mile, so a quick walk; but there are a few trails that branch off, leading to a children's play area, courts, or nearby municipal buildings. There are many benches available to sit and enjoy the scenery, or watch the ducks; the lake has multiple fountains, and 3 different docks to enjoy. A stunning park for photo opportunities as well, and they hold a lot of community events, which is a big plus in my book. Definitely recommend checking it out if you get the chance.

I came here for Yelp's Nauti by Nature party and had SO much fun. This space was perfect to host it, with grand balconies, an amazing view, and interesting spaces. This boat house has been flooded multiple times, and they're currently working on restoring it, room by room. Our event was a fundraiser for the building, in an effort to return it to its previous grandeur. Currently, it's still beautiful and majestic, just dated and in need of some repairs.
