The owners are fantastic and we're fantastic to work with as we planned the floor plan and overall event set-up. We fell in love with the venue the moment that we entered it, and would highly recommend getting married here! Not only that, but they offer you the entire weekend, including set-up and tear-down on the days surrounding the wedding. I couldn't recommend this venue more!

A modern building built to look a little like an old wooden barn. Large dirt lot…read more Inside was a huge main room with garage style doors out to a smaller deck (and some side decks). Small but modern and clean bathrooms. The tables are nice but the chairs, both inside and in the outdoor ceremony area, are hard and uncomfortable. The outdoor wedding area has a pebble main aisle. The wedding party knew so the girls wore flats, but many of the women guests had a hard time with their heels. The area outdoors is sloped downwards toward the pond, so everyone gets a good look at the area where the couple exchange vows. The pond is very pretty, and there is a very small, maybe 1/2 acre, grape vine area. I believe this was planted to justify the winery theme in portions of the venue. The bar area is very basic, not even a sink, so the parties need to use ice tubs and kegs and keep the drinks very simple.

We were lucky enough to have our wedding on a gorgeous day in June at the prairie barn, and we were completely spoiled with the attentiveness of the bartending, groundskeeping, and planning team. Guests absolutely loved our venue -- from the air-conditioned barn, stunning tent and table rentals, cocktail hour patio, fire pits, and luscious lawn that we got married on in front of a big oak tree! We had the property completely to ourselves from Friday-Sunday to set up, party, and clean up, which was an added bonus and stress-saver. I would recommend this venue to anybody looking to get married in a modern barn or farm venue. Since then, RHF has opened up the Nest, their kitchen & bar, which we also have loved frequently this past season!

We went here for Sunday brunch on their second week of service. This restaurant is located on M-52…read morejust north of Chelsea. It is back off the road on the Robin Hills complex. We were seated at our table and given the cocktail menu. I ordered the rosemary greyhound. It was refreshing and had just the right amount of rosemary in it. They have a full bar and others at my table had mimosas or bourbon. The brunch menu had many choices, all looked amazing. At my table we had the short rib hash, the boursin cheese egg sandwich, the salmon egg scramble & the sausage, egg and pimento sandwich. Everything was excellent. The hash had amazing roasted potatoes, a nice amount of meat and two beautiful fried eggs on top. Actually, all the dishes came with a side of roasted potatoes that were wonderful. One of the things that I think would really elevate this restaurant is if their orange juice was fresh squeezed. However, it was quite good. We will be coming back soon to try the Italian grinder and the Nutella French toast. We are told that there is music on some nights and we did not review the dinner menu. However, if it's anything like the brunch menu, I can't wait to try it.

We were there on 8-28-26, I ordered the brisket, pulled pork and the burnt ends, got the baked beans and the coleslaw, topped it off with a Dr.Pepper. The wait staff and casher were great and very helpful. I'll start with the brisket, It had a faint taste of smoke, it was a little rubbery, I'll give it a 3. The pulled pork had a flavory smoke taste, I'll give it a 4. The burnt ends, well I'm not sure what that was that I ate. It wasn't burnt on the ends and even with the sauce, it that didn't help. I'll give it a 0. Now the coleslaw, not sure if was coleslaw or they tried to make potato salad and missed the mark. I'll give it a 0. The baked beans were Outstanding, along with the corn muffin and the Dr. Pepper. I read this to my wife and she said it was about right. She is from Michigan.

Lately you have to pay extra for this bread option. Note that in the past the pie came with the meal one night a week.. That ended some time ago and now you get a piece of sheet cake. Unfortunately, the expert pie crust does not extend to the homemade chicken pot pie. Marie Callender or Swanson's frozen chicken pot pie will be just as good for a lot less. Once I tasted the chicken pot pie, I decided to give Stockwell's a wide berth. At $10.50 I can do better a lot of places. However, on 6/19 I braked for a turkey dinner with all the trimmings. I was hungry, didn't feel like cooking and it sounded good. it did not include cranberry sauce, which is on my list of trimmings. Oh well. The gravy was so overly salted it ruined everything it touched - that means the mashed potatoes, the dressing, and the turkey. I mean REALLY over-salted. I salt my food, so I am not anti-salt. I'm not much of a cook, but had I turned out gravy like this, I would have tossed it in the trash and opened a can of store-bought gravy. There is no excuse for anyone serving anything this overly salted - much less a professional cook who is charging you good money. When I mentioned the salty gravy to a neighbor, she said she had heard others comment that Stockwell's over-salted their food. I called the next day and talked to an employee about the situation, asking for a partial refund or a no-charge replacement turkey-mashed potatoes-dressing-gravy the next time it was on the menu. The employee was sympathetic and took a message. I waited over 2 weeks to write this negative review, giving the owner lots of time to respond to my complaint and make it right. I like to support local businesses, but the businesses have to be worth supporting by delivering a good product or service. Anyone can make a mistake, but if you can't address the mistake.....
