The food took a while to arrive, it was 4 PM not a busy time, pizzas were great, burger was terrible burned and pink( it was ordered well done) . I had to asked twice for a to go container and the bill and after 10 min I was able to final pay. Great pizza and good prices. There are a ton of choices or build your own. The ingredients are really good. This is a proper pizza (for anyone from the East coast, you will be content). The only odd part is that one server works only on drinks and another works only on food. Make sure you use the hot oil. Parking is best in the rear and the food is located downstairs. read more

Worst service I have ever seen.. took us 10mins to figure out where the restaurant existed, then they took 5 mins to sit us even though it was half empty. What a cool idea: a place for people to gather, have events, eat, etc...!! I was brought here by an Italian friend, he gave us a little tour of the place prior to going down to the little restaurant for pizza. This place is huge, and beautiful! They've got a large banquet area that can be rented out. I'm sure all the local Italians already know about this joint, it appears to be quite popular. We went to the little restaurant to get a late pizza lunch. The pizza was FABULOUS! Since there with fresh-off-the-boat Italians, they informed me that this was "real" Italian pizza... just like back home! So that was cool. I got the prosciutto pizza, which was really good! The pizza is awesome here. I ordered the margharita pizza and it was so delicious. The place is a banquet hall and there's a restaurant downstairs. I walked in with my sister and pretty much everyone was looking at us. It was a pretty awkward vibe but nonetheless, I came for the pizza. It tasted very authentic. We were just at the Caboto Club and it was the most disgusting customer service I've ever seen. I will NEVER go there again. We booked a room for a 90th birthday party over 2 months in advance. Caboto did not assign a server specifically for our room, even though we had 40 people. No one took our drink orders -everyone had to walk to the bar to order any drinks. They did not offer to refill our water when we ran out, we had to walk to the bar ourselves. They did not clear our tables, we cleared the trays and dishes ourselves. Our food took over an hour for the pizzas to arrive. Almost an hour later, 3 people still had not received their food. I went up to the bar area to speak to a server, telling her that 3 people had not received their pizza's yet, and everyone else had finished their food awhile ago. I told her that we all wanted coffee and tea to be served. Her response was, "I'm not your server", and turned away. I found the server that had been bringing our pizzas and told her the same thing, but she didn't say anything. About 20 minutes later, a server brought in one pizza, which meant that 2 people still had not received their order. At that point, I left. Just because our group were seniors, does not mean that we don't deserve good service. If it wasn't for it being a special event, I think everyone should have walked out without paying - the service was that bad. read more

If you're not a regular here, trust me, they will definitely make you feel like you don't belong. I walked in with a friend and couple of "gentlemen" sitting at the bar kept staring at us, like we didn't belong. I even smiled at them and received blank stares from all. As we stood near the bar wondering if we should wait or seat ourselves, one of the men at the bar asked my friend what we were doing there. I finally approached a waitress and asked her if we should seat ourselves and she rudely responded "well there's only one table and everything else is reserved". Mind you, the place was empty. I then asked her which table, and she rudely pointed to a table. After asking her if we could sit there she rudely said "sure". We sat for a moment and after having peoples' eyes drill holes in the back of our heads, we got up and left. I just want anyone reading this to know that I've never walked out of a restaurant for any reason and I've never been the type to quickly jump and point fingers. I'm sure the pizza is probably great. While the restaurant is for the public and not just only for members, the members and staff sure do treat you like it's a "members only" restaurant. read more

Attended a wedding here on a Saturday night. Was so looking forward to the meal as it was THE place to hold a wedding reception when I was growing up, mostly due to food. Cavernous banquet hall was nicely decorated (the hall was massive as it was a 450 person wedding). Service by bartenders and waitstaff was excellent. Very well trained and friendly. Food....what a let down. Pasta was flavourless and overcooked, anti pasta was small but tasted good, chicken was overcooked and DRY, roast beef and mushrooms were good, beans were pretty bland, potatoes downright awful. Even the salad was a let down....limp lettuce, zero flavour. HUGE disappointment., however was there to celebrate my niece's marriage so that was a priority. Congrats again Mel and TJ. read more

I visited the Caboto Club for a wedding rehersal dinner. This place has a TON of rooms! We were located in one near the bar/restaurant. While fairly simple in nature, a room with tables and chairs, the pizza on the other hand was something else. There were about 5 different types of pizzas ready to go plus a huge salad. Each pizza tasted so different from the next even if they differed by a few toppings. The crust was out of this world delicious. I didn't care how many times I went up for 2nd or 3rd....or 4th helpings. There was no denying this pizza was amazing. My boyfriend ordered a whisky which ended up being quite a large drink for a very small price. The beers came to about $6 for 2. Whether you are having an event big or small, this place seems like a good choice for many. Either way, head down to the bar and have a nice drink and get the pizza. You can watch them cook it in the wood burning ovens and the taste is just as awesome! read more

Disgusting treatment!!! I have been taking advantage of the Wednesday deal for over 3 years now going in almost every week. I always go in and eat two pizzas for my self, one full price one 2 dollars. Now they are telling me I can only order one pizza and someone else will get 2 Dollar pizza. I went in a group of 5. My friends got the deal and I did not. They wouldn't let me take a pizza home. Someone else had to be there to get my 2 dollar pizza deal. My Grandfather's funeral lunch was held here, and I have never had such terrible service in my life. We sat in the empty hall for a good 15 minutes without seeing any staff before anyone showed up, then they rolled a rack of coffee carafes into the room, put out the buffet into cold chafing dishes without even lighting the sternos, put the pastry platters on the tables and disappeared again. They reappeared after about 2/3 of the people had gone through the buffet line and started packing up our now cold food, before everyone had even gone through the line. The widow wanted an extra cream puff from one of the extra platters from an unused table, which were not put out. My 12 year old cousin had to go into the kitchen to ask for one, and all the staff who were sitting around told him that the desserts were already on the tables and would not give him one, so he just took one off one of the extra platters in the kitchen. I'm not sure why they cared if we wanted extra of the desserts we were paying for... The icing on the cake, however, was when the deceased's daughter heard the staff talking about how happy they were that the turnout was so crappy so they could go home early.
