When I picked her up, she was trembling and just wanted to leave. Those wretched women had shaved her belly and legs and cut some of her nails to the quick and others not at all. They had the audacity to tell me "she was difficult and did not want to be groomed". God only knows what else they may have done to her. I have always used the groomer at Times Corner in the past and they never ever shaved her anywhere. I am so sorry that I trusted these disgusting people with my darling dog. Please don't make the mistake I made and "try" this groomer....fortunately my girls' hair and nails will all grow back, but I feel traumatized that anyone would butcher my dog's coat the way these disgusting women did. I will drive the extra miles to take my girl back to the groomer at Times Corner where I know she will be well treated and groomed. Upon further questioning after they paid my vet bill, a different employee explained it was an issue with a faulty kennel divider and that his tail got stuck in it. When we asked if the pitbulls would be allowed back we were told, "they've been coming here a long time." Nothing was explained about fixing the faulty kennel design. I understand things like this can happen, but then, Kevin when on to tell my wife that he actually had a dog bite another dogs tail off. Board at your own risk. There was no blood, no skin broken and guess what else??? You work in a field that doesn't just simply handle dogs, you work in a field that provides a service that can cause dogs to become anxious, nervous, fearful etc etc.... The manager claims that this has been an ongoing issue yet what was done to help mitigate what should be an obvious risk?? Here's a novel idea - if this was an ongoing issue then maybe you should have put a muzzle on him or maybe you should have told me prior to your little animal care report that you wouldn't be able to see him anymore. Do you provide your staff with any kind of protective sleeving or other kind of PPE??? The answer to all of those questions is no - you do none of that. Did you ever once request that I stick around for a little bit?? Why do I feel the need to explain the benefits of having the pet owner stick around for a little while?? The answer to the last question can be found throughout my review I gotta say the managerial skills here seem so stellar she had no clue that the employee who was going to bathe my dog had already called me and informed me of what was going on. Idk, maybe being in charge of a handful of employees in a single story space that's basically open concept and approximately 2000 - 2500 sq ft is to much for some people. If I do get a response I will edit my review just to add a comment addressing whatever response I would get from this place But before a possible response from smoochi pooch just remember - it was and is your job to mitigate obvious risks, you claimed this was an ongoing issue with my dog yet you did absolutely nothing to mitigate anything leading up to today and a situation that you obviously had no clue how to handle. And the fact that in a review I was able to give multiple examples of how to mitigate a risk in a field I don't even work in speaks volumes regarding your lack of managerial/leadership skills and qualifications
