Employees are next level friendly. Always answering phone calls, uploading pictures, and making sure my dog feels at home there.

Cancellation fees from their website states $35, not the full amount.

Happy Tails... more like Happy Fails! I paid in full for daycare + boarding for a trip that was cancelled 3 weeks in advance. I called today to (very sweetly and politely) ask if I could transfer the balance to another date. They will not issue a refund, allow me to change dates, or honor the "daycare only" portion. They're keeping over $600 for no services rendered, AND they cancelled my reservation in order to allow space for another dog. I tried everything I could think of to at least get SOME service for the money paid, but they refused. The recent reviews on google reflect similar poor service. Protect your wallets and steer clear of this place! #SadTails

    Call log

We boarded our dog, Cece, here for 5 days, starting on May 30. After drop off, I left my phone on to hear how Cece did on the "assessment." This involves introducing calm dogs to a new dog to see the response. If the new dog is too aggressive, then dogs are required to participate in a "nature walk." Cece did NOT pass the assessment, which I found out about on Tuesday. TWO DAYS AFTER DROP OFF. The reason for her not passing was that she was "too nervous" per the owner. I understand that she didn't pass. I wasn't there, I can't argue it. I understood there was a possibility she wouldn't pass. My issue is that I didn't get a call on Sunday about the assessment. So I called Monday to check-in. That was 7:17 AM. No call back. I tried again that day at 11:29 AM, 11:30 AM, 11:56 AM. At 3:02 PM I called again, & left a second message. I waited all day Monday for a callback & got nothing. I thought maybe it was due to the holiday, that they'll call on Tuesday. It wasn't until I called Tuesday at 4:53 PM, Dawn, the owner, answered this time. But I was rushed off the line because of a check out. I was told I would get a callback in 10 mins. 10 mins passed, then 30, then 60. Nearly 90 mins later, at 6:18 PM (after hours), I got a call back. But, I missed the call. I listened to the voicemail & called back. But, no answer. The voicemail was reassuring, but I had worries. Friday, at 2:03, I called to see about the earliest pickup time, as well as talk to a manager, but no answer, so I left a voicemail. At 3:43 PM, I got a callback from Dawn. I asked about the assessment. Cece didn't pass because it didn't go well with the dogs she was introduced to. I shared with Dawn that Cece was a rescue & wasn't sure about her life before us. I then asked about the "nature walk." I asked if dogs only went on 1 walk and its length. She said that they have an AM & PM play, each for 15 mins during kennel prep, then in the middle of the day the "nature walk" is 15 mins. A total of 45 mins out of the cage. I started to get upset on the phone, sharing that this wasn't enough. I shared that I had concerns & was afraid to voice these, based on my lack of experience boarding/not knowing the staff. In response to my concerns & trembling voice, I was told to "rest" before picking Cece up the following day & that she knows the integrity of her business/employees. She knows that employees "love" the dogs, that pictures are posted to show that animals are doing okay. But a picture on FB doesn't compensate for a real-time call. As Dawn continued berating me about her business & how she "wouldn't entertain the conversation," I hung up. I called a family member, frantic, asking her to pick Cece up & she did. I called again, at 4:00 PM & it went straight to voicemail. I WAS HUNG UP ON OR BLOCKED. We called from Matt's phone & it rang once before being answered. I said my name & that someone was picking her up & I needed to pay over the phone. This was done within minutes. Cece was picked up a day early. When she was picked up, the owner hung around, but didn't speak. When asked what had been crossed off my receipt the owner said it was daycare which had been replaced with nature walk. I assume I paid a lesser amount for the daycare price, as I'm sure the nature walk is more expensive, since it requires an individualized 15 mins of attention (eye roll). Finally, my godmother was given a small garbage bag that had Cece's blanket in it. When I pulled it out of the bag, the bag was soaked, the blanket was soaked, & then, the room REEKED of dog pee. I was aware they didn't clean blankets in the event of an accident, but I can count on ONE hand how many accidents Cece has had. This was neglectful towards Cece & unsettling that employees did nothing but let it sit in a garbage bag. No call, no update, nothing. But keep in mind, they "love" animals. Horrible communication, disgusting practices, & an unprofessional owner was sad. I HIGHLY ADVISE AGAINST THIS "BUSINESS."

Listen, accidents happen, I get that. I am changing my review not because we had a terrible…read moreexperience but because of how they handled it. I called to complain about a bad groom for the first time ever, Courtney shaved Teddy down to pink skin with blood flecks. His skin was hot and swollen and he was in distress. My husband missed it during pickup because he was keeping his tail tightly tucked, I didn't notice until I arrived home 2ish hours later because he wasn't wagging when I arrived. I contacted them to let them know that I was unhappy that he had been shaved bald from his genitals to three inches up his tail and was so miserable I thought I should take him to the vet. Courtney said that she didn't know what I was talking about, so I sent a photo. She said she could see he had an anal gland issue that he definitely didn't have during his groom (because those develop in 2 hours) and we should take him to the vet. After a trip to the emergency vet his anal gland is all better but he still has a truly BRUTAL haircut. I contacted Angela about the experience and told her that all I wanted was an apology and an assurance that this wouldn't happen to another dog. I got deflection, denials, and doubling down on the fact they did nothing wrong. I know they didn't cause the dog's infected gland but this HAIRCUT? I paid $68.75 for this. Any pet lover would have been apologetic for sending a dog home in this state. It is infuriating to be told that your dog couldn't have been shaved to the skin or have razor burn when you are staring at it! I thought you couldn't argue with the photo but Angela's can. They "used the right guard, give this groom all the time, he had a large mat ( he was groomed regularly by them and brushed daily) they are sorry for my 'situation'." Entrusting your dog to someone runs a risk of accidents, being groomed can cause injuries. Unfortunately you can't trust Angela's to do the right thing if they make a mistake.

The only hard part is they are under staffed in the boarding area so sometimes getting ahold of someone to book is hard. However, when your dog is staying they instantly pick up because they have enough staff in that area. Ahri seems to be exhausted which means she definitely has a blast! It was a little over $220 for three nights, four stars package and a deluxe sweet. She also got a bath before we picked up Ahri. Keep in mind though she stayed over a weekend which made the rate higher. Overall, I highly recommend this place for your dog or cat!

Our puppy was injured (twice in back-to-back days) while under the "care and supervision" of Pampered Pets. After the second injury, we had to take our puppy to the veterinarian and pay for the care to his injuries and prescribed medication. Both times, not one employee notified us of his injuries. I totally understand that injuries and mistakes happen, especially with puppies. However, it was the lack of transparency that really upset us. After the first injury, we told the staff the following morning that, when we picked our puppy up from daycare the previous day, we noticed had a laceration wound that was still wet with blood. We were told they would keep a closer eye on him. That same afternoon when we picked him up, we noticed he now had a large and very swollen puncture wound from another injury. Again, not one employee notified us of the injury. I brought the incidents to the attention of management, hoping they would provide us with a discount or reimbursement of some kind, for the daycare services or veterinary bill. Unfortunately, we were told the contract they make you sign in order to enroll your dog in daycare has an indemnity clause, which frees them from all injury liability that your dog sustains while under their care. While they aren't legally liable, the way this was handled was just completely unacceptable business practice and their negligence was glaring. My wife and I are newly weds and we paid very good money hoping our puppy would be safe and properly cared for while we worked. Not only did we not receive the services we paid for, we also incurred extra expenses in the form of a veterinary bill and medications. The lack of transparency and handling of this matter was so disappointing, we will no longer be taking our puppy to Pampered Pets. The only recourse we were offered (which they made VERY CLEAR that they did not legally have to provide us with) was a couple of free days of daycare for future stays. The LAST thing we want is to take our puppy back there. Hope it was worth losing a loyal and paying customer. We have since found a replacement Pet daycare and we could not be happier!
