The owner Shaela is seriously the most kind and sweetest person I've met, she makes you feel so welcome in her shop and knows all of the interesting facts about every product in her store, she's like a little book of knowledge. I am obsessed with the local goat milk soap from sunny Brook farms in Wi, I come in often to restock the oatmeal and lavender were my faves and now the scent is combined in their new soap! Love it. I also love all of the little sweet treats they carry here and the dog treats as well, my dog loves the freeze dried liver treats! Such a great addition to downtown Hudson I hope they remain successful and stay for a long time so be sure to support and check them out.

I have been seeing these signs for years but never made it out to Blue Ridge Growers to actually pick blueberries. Since it is kind of a lazy Friday I decided that it would be a good time to go. It is about 6 miles out of River Falls off of Double M. Don't kid yourself picking blueberries is not as easy as you would think. The bushes are small and they like to hide behind the leaves and branches. I think it took us about 20 min to pick a pint which was $3. This place is pretty laid back, I had to hunt around for someone to explain things to me but once they did I was up and running. They have a lot of blueberries and also Raspberries but they were not ready to pick yet(Beginning of Aug)

They have a limited supply of fresh stems in their cooler, if you are wanting to build a bouquet as we were. The worker was incredibly patient as we looked around to see what we wanted to snag. The issue with it being the only flower shop nearby? Holy moly, the prices were high. My sister was with me and owns a floral truck in San Fran...the land of mega inflation. She said that flowers were 50-75% more here than what she pays per stem at home. Between the limited options and the prices, we build a small (but beautiful) bouquet, which they put in a wet wrapping and placed upright in a box for us. We spent $70 for the pictured flowers and later added wild flowers from home to fill it out a bit more.
