Such an adorable boutique with a very kind and welcoming owner named Shaela. She was very personable and so friendly. She chatted with us and didn't make you feel like "just another customer." The amount of goodies here are fantastic. They offer a great amount of hats, jewelry, self care items, cards, kids, etc. Also, the homemade lotions are so great. When I asked why the payment was so low they said some of the items has some "light staining" and they needed to make margins too. They paid $40 for 35 items. Let's just say they paid me about $2.55 for just the Hannah Anderson and Mini Boden items. Easily $10 resale that's a nice margin (looked at prices when I was in store).... but what about the 20 other items? The clothing is really only for babies and toddlers. The selection of older boys clothing was sad to say the least. I guess I'll stick to the online consignment store I had been using THAT SOUNDS LIKE **REDUP... at least then I can get myself something with the store credit too. This was my worst consignment experience hands down. The owner Amy was arrogant, dismissive, and rude.

The setup here is calming to me and offers a nice flow. From the handmade goodies to printed tee shirts and sweatshirts to jewelry to thrifted handbags to clothes to art supplies, there is something for everyone. Offering light art classes in the back of the space on a giant table, make sure to grab a flyer when you're in next or check the website. For just a small fee, you could be the new owner of a piece of art crafted by you. In addition, shopping here is a great place to get gifts whether that's for a baby shower, birthday or holiday. I love a good thrift shop and reducing waste, and they had a nice little selection of clothes, well organized and for decent prices. That fell to one side of the store, and the other had to local t-shirts and makers creations that are fun to find in town. I didn't have a ton of time to explore, but they were super nice and even had a table for kids to play at while parents shopped, and I look forward to going back next time I'm in town!

It overlooks the river in downtown Stillwater. There is a coffee shop attached to the bookstore. It's smallish in size, but seems to place an emphasis on quality vs quantity. It is a women owned store. Downtown Stillwater is quaint, and an afternoon strolling the shops, including this one, would be lovely. There is a small parking lot.

I've been watching a pair of 1951 Reglor Lamps advertised in Facebook Marketplace, showing a photo of them in the front window. I happened to be meeting a friend for lunch in Hudson so I made sure to bring $400 cash and to stop in after our meal. 1. Apparently, the lamps are no longer in the store. But the 2 staff running the shop couldn't tell me anything about them. Where are they? Why are they still listed in Facebook? 2. The worst part of the interaction was I got the "fake polite" treatment. Friendly but not really friendly and more passive aggressive, if you know what I mean. I'm used to that treatment in Minnesota. It seems to be part of our cultural DNA. But I'm surprised to encounter it in Wisconsin. 3. The staff running the shop weren't able to access the store listing on Facebook. Why? 4. When I got home, I sent a direct message to the store on Facebook from their listing to ask about the lamps. Are they gone? Why is there still an active listing? 5. It's been 8 days. The listing is still up. No one has answered my direct message on Facebook. All of this stuff is ridiculous. Everyone knows that is takes 30 seconds to respond to a message on Facebook. All of these negative vibes could have been avoided if someone simply responded to me, apologized, promised to do better next time, and to request that I please visit again. I'd still be a customer. As it is now, I'll never walk through the front door again. So...I'm feeling pretty negative about Abigail Page. I guess they're okay if you wander in off the street, buy something off a shelf, and walk out with your item. But if you see something on-line, buyer beware.
