4 stars!…read more Gullywubbles reminds me a lot of Spencer Gifts except classier. It has all manner of gag gifts, collectibles, and funny accessories of every sort...in addition to some vintage stuff. For example, one of the areas in back has vintage games. Fun stuff. I had a fun talking with the owner. She's friendly and full of energy. I'd say, this entire store is a funny and infectious expression of her personality. She must be pretty tough too because she was somehow able to keep her store alive through the whole pandemic thing. The shop has a ton of oddball items. Want a candle that smells like bacon or gasoline? Gullywubbles has it! You get the idea. My favorite thing was I got to sing with Taylor Swift on the back stage! We sang, "Shake it Up". I think Taylor was impressed with my singing skills. Thumbs up! -Maxx

Don't get me wrong; they're very nice decorations and very affordable, ranging from embroidered tea towels to garland to crystal ornaments and larger decor, but that's pretty much ALL that was there today. I'll definitely be back, but only when it's no longer a Christmas store.

I've found the pricing to be as expected contrary to the other review on here. I've picked some books myself doing window shopping, but asked for a recommendation from a staff member and she suggested Running with Sherman - I was a bit skeptical but can attest that it was a tremendous book. Would recommend both the shop and the book. A nice place to check out if you're in downtown WBL. It would be cool if they had a space to hang out and read or for books clubs etc. I'd love to see that addition - not the space since I don't know how that would be possible, but a book club. The space is huge and includes three floors. I spent some time browsing and got carried away with the available options. Once I found a set of dishes I liked, I pulled the store owner and asked if they could separate sets. He gave me a few options 1.) Buy the set 2.) Browse upstairs and downstairs for individual dish items to create my own set 3.) They would lease the entire set to me at full price and allow me to pay 20% so long as I return it within two weeks. This is a game changer! Having access to an entire antique mall to source items and lease them at a fraction of the cost is INSANE. This is definitely a spot I will return to for their great selection, stellar customer service, and flexibility for photographers. They even asked that I share the photos with them. I ended up creating my own little breakfast set and it was such a great experience.
