I can't recommend Dr. Heidi Smith enough -- especially for anyone who's never been to a chiropractor before. I came in dealing with inflammation, digestive issues, and chronic pain, and honestly didn't know what to expect. Dr. Smith took the time to really listen, explain everything clearly, and make me feel completely at ease. Her approach goes beyond simple adjustments --her focus on the whole body, including how alignment affects digestion and inflammation. After just a few visits, I noticed less bloating, more energy, and a big reduction in pain. Dr. Smith is caring, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in your health. Her office staff is friendly and helpful. If you're new to chiropractic care and want someone gentle yet thorough, this is absolutely the place to start. read more

I started seeing Dr. Heidi at the beginning of my 3rd trimester, and it's been a treat coming every since. Since I'm pregnant, we couldn't take xrays, but I'm excited to eventually have them done after baby comes to really scope out my neck/back.! The front desk is always welcoming and friendly (bonus- sometimes it is my go-to esthetician Erin Ennis who does my amazing facials who greets me.! Get her card too :)) Dr. Heidi is sweet, knowledgeable and has magic hands. I have chronic lower back pain and issues with my posture, but she came up with a plan for me to ease these problems via stretches and traction devices. The adjustments are short and sweet, but boy do I sleep like a baby after.! So grateful to have found a good team. On a side note, Dr Heidi offers complimentary wellness dinners every 2 weeks, where she gives useful presentations on how to benefit your lifestyle. As a fellow healthcare practitioner, I find this as such a nice way to "give back" to the community. Kudos! read more

Dr. Smith and her staff are super friendly and very informative. I found Dr. Smith though a podcast because I wanted someone who specialized in babies and toddlers. I brought my daughter here who had a previous tongue and lip tie and I can tell her digestion and ear aches have completely went away. I then was seen by Dr. Smith and was told she wanted x-rays before adjusting me and we found 5 subluxations and two vertebrae's that weren't moving.. so we're in the healing process! Easy scheduling. Love it! read more

I was in so much daily pain before coming here. I am pregnant (about 30 weeks at the time I started) and thought there was no way around my back pain. After seeing Dr. Heidi Smith, I noticed such a big difference after only a few sessions I was not in daily pain anymore. I'm so thankful that I was able to return to my daily tasks without the pain I thought was unavoidable due to pregnancy. I highly recommend this place! They are also great with scheduling. I have a very busy work schedule so their flexibility makes it easy even for me to fit in appointments. I also love that I don't feel rushed when I'm here. Dr. Heidi Smith is great! I never realize how immobile I am until after I get adjusted by her. The difference in my range of motion always astounds me! I am an anxiety sufferer, so my body tends to tense up and distort itself. After a major incident, Dr. Smith leaves me feeling so much better. Also, now that I've been getting adjusted regularly, my depression and anxiety levels have greatly decreased. Dr. Smith takes her time to answer any questions, and is so friendly! I highly suggest seeing her for your chiropractic needs. read more

Dr. Heidi is great! She has a whole health approach to helping you reach your goal of pain relief and ultimately healing through adjustments (not cracking), and she offers a nutritional health plan for everyday life. Recently I made an appointment to start a program because I started having severe pain in my hip which traveled down my leg affecting both feet especially my achilles tendons. This became chronic and was worsening everyday. This affected my walking, my sleep by waking me up 2-3 times a nite, (and my husband). I had pains in my back and neck. I was a total mess! Pain was reaching 8-10 everyday. I did not want pain medications or another cortisone shot for temporary relief. I wanted my health back! I decided enough was enough! So I made my appointment to start my care. Begging with Xrays Dr. Heidi put me on a plan. I committed. Within 3 adjustments I began to have some relief! Wow! I was so encouraged so I kept going and committed to a plan she created for me. Now after 8 weeks, I mostly have "0" pain in my hip and entire body!! I feel happy, sleeping through the nite, body is feeling stronger and feel confident to take on a fun hobby with my husband and start working out (: Dr. Heidi's Chiro care is a game changer! It's now a part of my personal health plan. A gift and commitment I made to myself for continued healthy living. Her office is peaceful and welcoming and exudes Heath! It's inspiring. Front office is very friendly, caring and efficient, special people. Another huge plus is the health product line she carries is "Standard Process" products. Excellent whole food products! Being under Dr. Heidis care is worth every dime and commitment! By the way she specializes in caring for babies! My daughter and my grand daughter ( with nursing challenges) will start soon! I hope this helps you by reading this review! My gratitude to Dr. Heidi! read more

Dr. Heidi is the most compassionate healthcare professional I have worked with. Her office is friendly, comforting, and she is flexible with your schedule and personal needs. I would recommend her to anyone who is looking to improve their overall health from a holistic approach. I used to be skeptical of chiropractic treatments, but Dr. Heidi made me realize that it is about so much more than just "cracks." I would recommend her services to anyone! read more

I started coming to Dr. Heidi Smith at her Torrance location after suffering from major neck issues last year due to whiplash. After 2 visits my neck issue went away and I am so grateful!!! I have continued seeing Dr. Heidi as chiropractic care has helped me for a few other issues including knees (thanks to 2 half marathons), constant back aches due to stress, and more recently some hormone issues which I had done research and chiropractics was recommended and it is working!! Dr. Heidi is kind, easy going, and the office is professional and friendly. I would highly recommend! read more

I started coming to Dr. Heidi Smith over a year ago for neck pain. I had never been to a chiropractor before and was a little nervous. She took X-rays and reviewed them before starting any treatment. She has a very gentle but firm approach and I really felt comfortable with her immediately. She treated me for the neck and for other things that I was unaware I even had until she pointed it out to me. I am so grateful and cannot say enough about how fantastic and wonderful I feel now. I have recommended Dr. Heidi to many family and friends and they all have had great experiences from her and her staff. I highly recommend her for anyone and everyone! read more

I have been seeing Dr. Smith in Santa Monica and was excited when I found out she opened up a practice in Torrance! (Way closer to me since I live in Long Beach). What stood out to me was on my first visit, she explained the importance of chiropractic well-being on one's body and was overall very knowledgable and professional. I would definitely recommend seeing Dr. Smith for a healthy spine :) read more

I've seen Dr. Smith when I was pregnant and also before and after I was pregnant. I used to get terrible migraine headaches and those were cleared right up. I go for regular adjustments (when I can). Now that I have kids, I've only trusted Dr. Smith with my kids and she has an amazing bedside manner with them. She also never does more than what I am comfortable with, for me and my kids. I've seen her at different locations and have followed her to her new location in Torrance, she's that good! read more

Recently I was in a car accident that left me in constant neck pain (it even got bad enough that it was waking me up at night). Dr Smith was recommended to me by a friend, and I couldn't be happier with her services. Dr Smith started with comprehensive questions about where I was experiencing pain, to really understand my issues. She went over every step of the recommended treatment with me, also giving me tips for what to be doing at home to ensure lasting results. Since going to Dr Smith, I've noticed a dramatic drop in pain; I've been sleeping better and I can feel like my pre-accident-self is coming back. She is very affordable, even without insurance. The office is a welcoming and professional place and I am very comfortable there. She is a great doctor! read more

I have been having hip problems for a couple of years. I bought a $1,000.00 office chair to help with my hips hurting while sitting. All of a sudden my hip problems came back last month and I couldn't sit for more than 30 minutes without being in a lot of pain! I went to see Heidi and I was really impressed with how she took the time to educate me and show me how different areas of the spine can affect areas of your body you wouldn't even realize! She took X-rays and then compared mine to what a healthy neck/spine x-ray looks like. I was shocked! I'm all out of whack, which would explain so much. Great news is I've had a couple adjustments since then and my hip pain is totally gone! I'm looking forward to seeing my before and after X-ray to show the improvements I've made. read more
