She said the sellers were "out to dinner" and she was "working on them" to get the deal zipped up. The reality is they went back to the other buyers for further negotiations. While not illegal, it is certainly shady and I would not recommend doing business with unethical people. Buyer or seller, it's not good if you can't trust your partner.
