I've been going here for a few years-- first as a graduate student at UCLA and then again when I relocated back to Los Angeles. I've been overall really pleased with my service here! The care from the dental hygienists and the dentists are unmatched. I never feel rushed while I'm being seen by the team. Dr Park is also a very genuine, skilled dentist. No parking validation (but if you give yourself extra time, you should be able to find street parking in the neighborhood for free. Beware of street sweeping days though!) I've moved away from the area so sadly had to switch dentists. But if you're in the area, I'd recommend! Go for earlier slots if possible; I've had my afternoon appointments delayed 20+ minutes because things were inevitably running long. read more

Our dental insurance changed so we needed a new dentist and found Dr. Heidi Park. I love her! I want her to be my auntie, she's that kind of person :) When recommending braces, which I already knew I could benefit from, she looked at my entire facial structure to tell me what could improve if I get orthodontic treatment. I'm convinced I'll get Invisalign with her when I decide the timing is right. Wonderful staff and highly qualified hygienists. Awesome technology I haven't seen in other dental offices. They scan every angle of every tooth so that you can see how bad you are (I am) with dental hygiene. They also take a "headshot" x-ray, which I think is what enables them to use a software to create a simulation of where your teeth will be after orthodontic treatment. Billing has been outstanding and honest, they even refunded me a portion for one of my treatments after insurance paid up. They have been very accommodating with scheduling me and my husband. THANK YOU for welcoming us to your practice! read more

From walking in, the staff was friendly and welcoming. I've seen Dr. Park as well as her associates Dr. Boden and Dr. Lin. Everyone is very knowledgeable and skilled when I have question. All the assistants and hygienists working there are respectful of when I feel pain or want a break. I feel confident that I am being listened to whenever I have concerns about my teeth, and I am scheduled to come in again in a couple months! read more

I found Dr. Park through my Insurance company's database. I'm so glad i listened to my intuition and followed through with a visit to her office! Her entire staff was so kind and informative. I'm new to having dental insurance so there's a lot I don't know about the process but Dr. Park, along with my dental technician and everyone in the front office were so helpful in walking me through the whole process. I also loved the pretty view of the Brentwood skyline & the Santa Monica Mountains from my patient chair. Dr. Park put together a detailed, dental plan that fits my budget and helps me get the most out of my coverage. I'll be getting several crowns in the next few months and I feel I am in very great hands. I also can't stress enough how professional and kind her whole team was to me. Such a great experience! read more

I've been here two times, tried to come in for my cleaning today. The first appointment I came in was decent. However every time I've had an appointment scheduled I am contacted by the front desk to change it. The very first appointment I was called 3 different times to change the same appointment. Today's appointment I was contacted multiple times within 90 minutes to change my appointment. When I called back I was given multiple answers that were contradictory. I felt like I was being lied to and felt quite disrespected as a patient. Since this is a constant practice by this office to change appointments the day of, it's too stressful to continue scheduling here. If they were running behind and wanted to let me know so I wasn't waiting that is appreciated, or if there happened to be an earlier opening and they wanted to offer that's fine. However, automatically changing my appointment without confirming with me, causing me to lose my appointment is not professional or appropriate. I've also never met Dr. park and never know which doctor I'm going to see. The front desk staff doesn't know how to answer questions and lies. read more

So gentle and punctual. I appreciate both that they are so gentle and explain what they're doing. Thank you Dr. Barba and Dr. Park for having a gentle touch. You make it so we don't fear the dentist. Thank you to the staff for running the office efficiently. Your consideration for our time is appreciated. Highly recommended. read more

Dr. Heidi Park and her staff are the best. They were patient with my daughter, explained the process. Always a friendly face. We went to Dr. Park for a root canal, they were able to accommodate us on a last minute appointment. Now she is our dentist to go! happy with their services! Recommend her 10 out 5 stars!!! Thank you Dr Park and staff. read more

I rarely write reviews and happily will take the time to submit this one for Dr. Heidi Park. She has been my dentist of choice since I moved to L.A 5 years ago. I had previously gone to the same dentist in my last city I lived since I was a child. Even though I live in the South Bay after an exhaustive search and countless recommendations I trek up to Dr. Park's office as top dental office for me. I appreciate Dr. Park's genuine, compassionate, graciousness and comforted by her decades of experience. She advised options for my health and also took time to address all my long term aging dental care questions too. I feel at ease during my check ups in knowing my health is in such expert hands! I admire how thorough, committed to excellence and personable Dr. Park is to all her patients. I have come to really be grateful to her and her associates as they have been reliably delivering top notch care over the years. She was also very helpful to a friend of mine who they were able to accommodate quickly with short notice him to be seen as a new patient when he cracked a tooth one night. He appreciated her genuine compassionate care and how personable she was in follow up and made his experience as smooth as possible under the circumstances. As he didn't have dental insurance at the time, he also found the cost affordable and reasonable. Especially during these challenging times, I am thankful to feel safe at Dr. Park's office. read more

This is the GO TO dentist . I'm very specific about how my smile looks and Dr. Heidi Park did a perfect job on my teeth. I have gone to many places for a consultation but this place stuck out ! As you see in my before photo my teeth were dark and I had a chip on the front tooth. In my after photo there's a crazy difference in the appearance of my teeth. I will 110% recommend Dr. Park to family and friends. Stacey was a great dental assistant as well ! read more

We just moved into the area and we wanted a nice dentist near Brentwood area. Dr Park and all associates in the office were so nice and very helpful. What we liked the most is that they explained the reason behind a lot of things instead of just telling us what to do. Loved it read more

I just moved into the area and Dr. Park's team were amazing to deal with from setting up my account, dealing with my insurance and most importantly cleaning my teeth with gentle hands. Also, the dental chair has a great view which is a rarity from my previous experiences of windowless small rooms. read more

After too long of an absence from seeing a dentist, I came back to DR. Heidi (I had previously moved out of state) and am so happy. I've had to get a LOT of work done and each experience is quick, painless and may I dare say enjoyable? She gives the BEST cheek rubs while giving shots, it's literally relaxing! Who would have thought I could enjoy a root canal! She also accepts the Aetena Dental plan which is a huge bonus and the staff and reception are all cool, polite and knowledgeable. read more

We originally had an appointment and they cancelled on us. Their reasoning was that the hygienist didn't want to have a 3 hour break between patients. Yes I understand your hygienist wants to go home and not sit on their hands for 3 hours. But guess what, we now have to find a different appointment 3 months out because everyone is booked. My wife is a healthcare worker and only has maybe 1 hour a month to spare to get a dentist appointment. Thanks for nothing and I hope you, the reader, don't book with them read more

Early on, while talking to Dr. Park, it was clear that she is someone who genuinely cared about me and my health, and didn't only see dollar signs when she looked at me, this is a huge deal to me! Dr. Park is caring, patient, and a great dentist. She answered all my questions and explained everything thoroughly. The procedure itself (replacing a filling) was practically painless and super fast, and she did a great job. She is an excellent dentist with honest business practices and fair prices. Her staff is great too! read more

Today was my first visit at this dental office. I was looking for a dentist close to home, and my stepdad recommended this dentist to me. This visit has to be the best experience I've had at any dentist office. The dental hygienist who cleaned my teeth was Sean. He was very nice, friendly, and very informative. He tells you everything he is going to do, and he does a wonderful job at making sure his patients are comfortable. Sean was the first to ever ask me if I had any sensitivity, and offered to put a numbing gel on my sensitive areas. Dr. Choe is very nice and friendly as well. She is very humble. I will definitely be coming back to this dental office, and asking for Sean every time. I get really anxious whenever I go to the dentist. Sean's personality and the fact he made sure I was comfortable really put me at ease. He definitely made my first visit a pleasant one. read more

I had great experience here. The pricing was reasonable and transparent. Also the procedure was professional. I also had my wisdom teeth removed here and Dr. Park did a great work. I was able to heal up pretty soon. Would definitely recommend here. read more

My dad is an orthodontist, so I'm incredibly picky when it comes to the people that are taking care of my teeth. I had been looking for a dentist in the LA area and was nervous as it was the first time that I would be going to someone that was not from my hometown (or one of my dad's friends!). Dr. Park made me feel incredibly comfortable. After my cleaning at her office (which was great and unbelievably thorough), I scheduled an appointment to get some additional dental work performed. I subsequently changed my mind and decided at my appointment to wait on the additional procedures. Not once did Dr. Park ever make me feel pressured to do anything that I didn't want to do. She was so understanding and knowledgeable and talked me through all of my options. I asked if she could email me my x-rays and pictures and they did that IN my appointment (lightning fast) so that I could share with my dad. Other things that I particularly liked about this office: 1) Timely appointment slots - I've had 2 appointments and never had to wait past my appointment time which is amazing especially during the work week 2) Well-explained benefits - The office is SO good at explaining what insurance does and does not cover (with printed out treatment plans). It was always transparent to me. I'm glad I've found my new LA dentist! read more

Dr. Park is the sweetest dentist I've ever had. She explains everything so well and I really look forward to seeing her before every appointment. She did a tooth extraction with her surgeon and it has healed wonderfully. I have felt in EXTREMELY good hands with her. She also seems to genuinely care about me. Could not recommend her enough!! read more

I went to Dr Park for the first time today and WHAT A RELIEF!!!! FINALLY an Honest dentist in LA that doesn't conduct their office like a Used Car Salesperson. Dr Park was kind, personable, and smart. I went to her for a 2nd opinion after getting a very aggressive and expensive treatment plan from Pearl Dental Care. She debunked most of their prescriptions and laid out the realistic treatments that I was going to need now , and things that we would continue to monitor down the road. I recommend her to anyone. read more

Like most people, I probably don't go to the dentist enough. If you're anything like me, you'll have wished you had a few months earlier though, but that's worries about something I can't change. What do I have the ability to choose right now? To brush my teeth, floss, and Heidi Park. Ok ok, cheesy, but read on to see why. 1. Patience. Dr. Park and most of the staff seemed to really care to not only present my options but make sure I understood them, explain each charge, which portions my insurance paid and I paid, and what the pros/cons of each would be so I could make the best decisions possible under the circumstances. They also made sure to try and stay cost effective for me, which is extremely appreciated. 2. Friendliness. It's not overboard, asking me questions while I stretch my mouth open and can't talk, but it's pleasant. They also play Hulu or whatever during procedures if you'd like, with headphones. 3. Care. I really appreciate that Dr. Park personally calls after a procedure - reading other reviews, it wasn't just for me, either. It was a simple follow-up asking how I was and reminding me to be careful eating or drinking while my mouth & tongue were still numb. It only takes a minute or two, but really shows her going above and beyond. For whatever it's worthy, I shot of an email to a dentist friend asking what he thought of the diagnosis and cost. My particular situation was obviously medically necessary (I had broken a molar and had accidentally eaten part of it, yay?), but my friend confirmed that my presented options were in line with what was appropriate for the situation, and that the costs were reasonable. In short, you can trust Dr. Park. I have a Delta PPO if that matters to you, though she probably accepts other insurances too. The office building is nice and the office itself clean and modern. read more

Absolutely priceless service and comfort. I'm extremely anxious about all dental work, and tried a dentist in Westwood that I was incredibly unhappy with. After looking online I found Dr. Park's Brentwood location. Dr. Park is so nice and considerate of my needs. I've had a variety of work done at the office, including procedures that were new and nerve-wracking for me like getting a crown. Dr. Park and her staff helped me through everything, and were super attentive to my concerns. With the combination of careful attention, patience, anesthetic and nitrous oxide, I can now handle procedures that would have normally sent me running before. Even the small comfort of watching TV in the dental chair before procedures helps immensely! All of the staff here is helpful and understanding, so even routine cleanings or scheduling an appointment via phone is a breeze. I especially appreciate Dr. Park's post-procedure phone calls to check up on my condition. She really goes the extra mile with patients. I'll be relocating soon and I'm extremely sad about losing such a reliable dental office! read more

After seeing Dr. Park so much in the last two months, I have to say that she is really aiming to please her patients. Not only did I come back to headphones so I can absolutely enjoy my tv shows offered on Hulu, I also had a brief explanation on the quality of my night guard. She reads her Yelp reviews and I really think she cares about the comfort of her patients. My last two visits at her office were awesome. I really appreciate a dentist that would go out of her way to make me feel good about my dental visits. Dr. Park is truly a caring, friendly dentist. I highly recommend her. Her office is clean, top of the line, and very comfortable. read more

I can't speak to Dr. Heidi Park's abilities, but their office's inability to share information with me in advance--information they'd previously assured they would get to me before my appointment--led me to ultimately canceling this AM. Background: I am in need of a final restoration for a root canal. That could either mean a new crown or filling. Knowing this is a re-treatment and might incur heavy out of pocket costs, I called to ask if they could provide me with a quote/estimate for my restoration. They sympathetically assured me they could and would. Days pass... A call. No estimate. But I speak with Sharon, who redirects me to Dr. Park, who redirects me back to Sharon saying, "Sharon can get you that information." Days pass... A call. No information. But I'm told I will get it the Monday before my appointment so not to worry. Days pass... It's Monday! A call! What? They say my insurance only covers pediatric care? That can't be right. No, it isn't right. They called the wrong MEDICAL insurance provider. Not even DENTAL. Again I ask for an estimate. No estimate. I call back later that day. No answer. I leave a message. No returned call. Day of the appointment... I call. Sharon picks up. Sharon sounds like she doesn't even have my information yet. (My guess is they didn't even submit a pre determination.) She's flustered. She's rude. She puts me on hold. And then she has the audacity to tell me that Dr. Park can't give me an estimate or quote. After all of these false promises. I have to come in and see her. FINALLY, I get it out of them that a crown costs $1400 out of pocket. Which, I might have paid if they had been more transparent, communicative and organized from the get go. Rather then sending me on this wild goose chase for an arbitrary number. The front desk and every person you communicate with is a reflection of the services you will receive. So I trusted my gut and canceled my appointment. read more

Be careful of shady business practices as she tries to sell you things that you don't need. Told me I need a deep cleaning which I thought was strange. I went to other dentists for second/third opinion and they all said that I didn't need it and it could damage . read more

Dr. Park is wonderful! She has a calm, kind presence and is amazing at explaining things. She is friendly and it's clear how much she cares! Yeah, all the 5 start reviews are warranted. I have had really bad luck with dentists over the years. (See my review of a dentist in Glendale) My issue was, dentist , like a lot of doctors, don't listen to the patients concerns. I explained to Dr Park that I don't get numb from the typical dosage of anesthesia. I explained that my research led to the findings that local anesthetic resistance is a rare condition that's so poorly researched that many medical professionals refuse to acknowledge that it's even real. Dr Park acknowledged my concern and administered a 2nd and 3rd dose. It was really necessary as I knew my gums were not numb after the first dose. I am so thankful that I found this dentist. Dr Park and her staff demonstrated compassion and concern. read more

The three words I would use to describe this place would be friendly, organized, and superb. To start, I needed an appointment ASAP because my dental hygiene wasn't the best so I wanted my teeth cleaned inside and out. When I called to schedule they were more than happy to schedule me for their next availability which was within the same week! When I arrived at the office, they were fully staffed and had little to no paperwork for me to fill out (I completed most of the forms electronically). One staff member, in particular, Kimberly, was kind and happy to assist me with my questions and concerns. The wait wasn't long at all and at most 15 minutes compared to other offices where I've wasted hours waiting. My experience throughout my cleaning was fantastic and couldn't feel more comfortable. I would highly recommend this to any person that's in need of a new dentist with good scheduling and even better service! read more

8 years later and still visiting Dr. Park! She's kind with such a calm demeanor that I so appreciate. I highly recommend her and her team.

I recently had to find a new dentist after moving to this area and after obsessing over online reviews and doing my best to follow my gut (work in progress) decided to see Dr. Park. She is fantastic! My husband and I have both had dental work by her and she is always thorough, kind and makes sure you aren't squirming in the chair. I don't feel like 'just another patient' when I am there. Plus, TVs. Recommend! read more

First time here based on Yelp reviews I chose Doctor park and they were right she is great. Receptionist was nice took my info and only had 3 pages to fill out because I pre-filled my paperwork. No wait as soon as I sign the paper work my Hygienist took me back and did a great job with explaining the X-ray process 18 pics. Then she cleaned the heck out of my teeth like they were brand new, she explained my issues very well and gave me option but didn't push. Then Dr. Park came in introduced herself and shook my hand! She reviewed my X-rays checked my teeth then took pictures with a pen camera, she then showed me the pictures and explained what was wrong and it made sense . Usually the dentist just says stuff and u just believe him but with pictures it made more sense (I'm a visual guy). The only bummer is parking (duh west LA) street parking on Friday no good both sides of almost all the streets close by get swept for 10-12 so make your appointment for 12:15 on Fridays. read more

Wow! Dr. Park and her team are absolutely wonderful! Everyone is so warm, welcoming and professional. The level of care I received at my first two appointments were excellent. And the best part? I was recommended by my orthodontist to visit Dr. Park's office for cleaning/fillings before getting my braces, for a total of three visits, and I would highly recommend her services!! Right away, I felt welcomed by Dr. Park and her staff. I'd had three visits, and the staff greeted me by name every time as soon as I walked in! Each visit was right on time and took less an hour. I'd never minded dentist visits much, but Dr. Park goes a long way to make patients feel at ease. Also, there are options to listen to music or watch Hulu while getting work done. Plus! There's also a pretty nice view of the city with the floor to ceiling windows. All these are especially great for those who have a more difficult time at the dentist for a chance to relax. My work was pretty basic, and was affordable with my insurance. Any questions I had were answered genuinely by the staff and Dr. Park. After my fillings Dr. Park called me to personally check on how things were going! There's just a pleasantness about this office that you don't get at a lot of places! I'd go again!
