This cemetery was founded in 1826 and remains available to anyone, regardless of religion or race. The cemetery is in excellent condition and is very well maintained. The grass is clipped close and there is no litter. The headstones are in very good shape.
The concrete pathways are smooth and easy to walk. Much of the cemetery is clear but there are some trees and shade here and there.
If you're looking to see a history of the town and the Jewish population in Columbia, this is a good stop.
