Buyer beware. I took…read moremy vehicle to Take 5 for nothing more than a routine oil change. Before the service, my vehicle had no warning lights and was driving perfectly. The moment I left the parking lot, my oil warning light came on. Seconds later, the EPC warning light came on, and my vehicle began hesitating and struggling to accelerate past approximately 35 mph. This created a serious safety concern. I immediately returned to the shop and explained what happened. The technician reset the warning lights and added more oil, but the problem was not fixed. As soon as I left again, both warning lights returned and my vehicle continued to hesitate while accelerating. A simple oil change should never result in warning lights and a vehicle that feels unsafe to drive. I am now faced with the inconvenience, stress, and potential expense of having my vehicle inspected after a service that should have been routine. I have reported this incident to Take 5 Corporate and expect a thorough investigation and resolution. I am sharing my experience so others can make an informed decision. I sincerely hope Take 5 takes responsibility if their service caused these issues.

Recently, Son Auto had my brothers car for months without updating him of what repairs the car needed, moved his car to a second location that is unguarded(Son Auto claims to have purchased this unsecured property.) I wish I took pictures of the inside but I was so ready to run out of there I couldn't. I went to use the bathroom and was mortified at how disgusting and unclean it was. The toilet seat was filled with stains and there was no toilet paper. When I picked up the toilet seat and it fell off! I just started laughing so I wouldn't cry. After using the bathroom reluctantly and carefully, I decided to sit outside on the bench to wait for my car. There was one truck already in the bay in front of me and another truck in the bay beside it, with one more truck waiting behind that lane. After about 30 minutes, I was finally able to pull my truck into the bay. Unfortunately, once I was in, nothing happened. The entire staff was focused on the truck in the other bay, and my vehicle just sat there. After another 15 minutes of waiting in the bay (45 minutes total) I had to roll down my window and get someone's attention just to ask them to close my hood because I wanted to leave. To be fair, the employee did apologize and explained they were having trouble with the other truck. My issue is this: your business advertises fast, convenient "10-minute oil changes," not hour-long waits. I understand delays happen, and I don't mind waiting when there's good communication. But I specifically chose Take 5 because of the convenience and speed, especially since your prices are higher than many other places. When the time-saving convenience and professional communication are missing, it turns into a very frustrating and expensive experience.

This is my first oil change since buying my new car and of course I knew I'd come here. They keep my information on file, send me coupons via text and always bring me out a cold water bottle while I wait. You don't have to get out of your car at all here and this location even has a complimentary car wash and vacuums when you change your oil. They do try to upsell sometimes but aren't pushy. Overall it's the least painful place to do a chore I despise.
