    BUYER BEWARE! TERRIBLE ORGANIZATION! I am in California. Smooth talker using phrases like…read more"brother..." and such! Bought full priced 2016 Land Rover from their manager. Paid 100% of what they asked plus license, registration, and everything else they piled on top including transport fee to get it to California. Then before they actually shipped the car, they contact me to require me to pay another $1,500+ since they supposed did had miscalculated what the actual total fees for CA was added up to. I asked them whether "this 2nd time there are 100% sure they have captured all the fees necessary to properly ship and register the car and they confirmed 100% as such" So, once again I paid 100% of what they said was due for CA registration. Once the car delivered to me, I found out that they hadn't produced the registration at all. They had shortchanged CA the fees so the car couldn't be registered until I ended up having to pay the $1,500+ again myself, mind you, it took 3-4 months to finally get the title and everything finally squared away with...during which time, because of their incompetence and lack of care, I ended up having to pay CA penalties and fines on top of all that. After the fact I approached them to reimburse me but at no success! To add insult to injury, when I approached them politely and all, they simply told me to call later "tomorrow" and then again "why don't you call us next week...we are on vacation"...followed by "the person you need is out of office for the entire week"...followed by "higher management need to decide if they feel like reimbursing you"...more and more run around followed by simply hanging up on me. Their individuals I dealt with included Ronnie, both Nikki in documentation/processing and the other Nikki, and their owner/manager. I do NOT recommend trusting them.

    For those who follow my reviews, you'll know I'm a foodie and a car guy and I've purchased new cars…read moreat many of the local dealers including a long list which neighbor Acura of Lafayette. Some of those include Audi, BMW, Nissan, Subaru, VW and Mitsubishi, just to name a few. Acura is essentially the high end brand of Honda, which is similar to Lexus being the high end for Toyota, Infinity being the high end Nissan's and Genesis being the high end for Hyundai. So, in short an Acura is a premium version of a Honda which is known as one of the most reliable auto manufacturers in the business. Acura, however, unlike many dealers don't discount and have blow out sales anything to the extent that many dealers do. This was a sore spot with me since I'm used to getting 3k to 8k off a new auto (high end is for model years that are older such as a 2023 model purchased in 2024). But, Acura doesn't appear to discount like that and it was a bit frustrating but the sales and service people at this location swayed me on top of a fair offer for my trade in. So far everything is great and I'm loving my 2023 TLX. If you're shopping for a higher end SUV or auto, do stop by and take an Acura for a drive. They are a blast to drive, handle great and will have all the luxuries you're looking for in a premium vehicle. Enjoy!

    Some people drive high end vehicles for status reasons; that is not me. I'm looking for longevity,…read moredependability, and service after the sale. This is where I fell into disappointment with Acura of Lafayette. I used their services several times. Scheduling was easy. Their waiting area was comfortable. There were some disappointments where they didn't get things quite right, but I continued to give them another chance. The deal breaker was when I came in with a "system" failure that should have been addressed under warranty. When I set up the appointment, it was confirmed that we were still within warranty. Of course, it was a different story after diagnosis. Their opinion was that it was due to damage that I was responsible for. This was not the case. I was driving the car when the warning came on. It was smooth interstate with no extenuating circumstances. I also tried to explain that this was not the only "electronics" related issue. Nothing was resolved as I was not going to pay an exorbitant amount for something that should have been covered under the original warranty which was still in effect due to low mileage. I always heard that you get what you pay for. That is usually true, except in this case for me. My disappointment was enough to motivate me to get another vehicle (different brand, different dealership) that day in hopes that I would have better luck in the future.
