Amazing gluten free biscuits and desserts in a convenient Metairie location! Check their Facebook page for hours and menu.

Biscuits although $4 each are very likely the best I've ever had in my life. Almost a Popeye's biscuit but gluten free

Run, run RUNNNN to Chez Pierre French Bakery because they still make the BESTTTT pate chaud (savory…read moreVietnamese puff pastry pie, generously filled with ground pork)! I've tried so many different ones in Texas but very few are even close to the quality and TLC made at Chez Pierre. I can't get enough of the buttery, flaky, golden goodness with each savory bite of pure deliciousness! I pre-order them by the dozen to share with visiting family and friends. Everyone who has tried the pate chaud absolutely LOVESSSS them!!! Take one bite and you'll be hooked for life! And while since you're already here, be sure to grab some deliciously potent Vietnamese iced coffee (cafe sua da) to energize your day. Their Vietnamese sandwiches are legit as well for a quick meal on the go. Have a sweet tooth? Their display is full of the most beautifully crafted and yummy pastries/sweets/etc - pick your guilty pleasure! I like to order their cakes for special occasions. Crowd faves are the fruit chantilly cake or the pandan cake- the cakes are light, airy, and not overly sweet. The Chez Pierre staff are always welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable about all their menu items. I've only had positive experiences and I know you will love them too! This is your reminder to hurry over for the pate chaud- I promise you will thank me later :)

This is a nice bakery and patisserie that also offers Vietnamese food. The food here is visually…read morevery stunning while in the flavor category I've certainly had better. The ambiance of all the food in their display cases definitely temps you and just adds an overall stunning visual bling bling ambiance to the entire interior. I started out with a bowl of brisket Pho which was alright but most of the other Vietnamese restaurants in the area make far better Pho at a cheaper price and in a larger serving size. After my Pho I went all oinky-oinky on a selection of their desserts. Overall things were visually impressive but the all important flavor element fell flat for most of the food. I might sample more of the baked goods but I have to say there are better options available in the area. You can still have an enjoyable time sampling some things here and if you've never visited you might find some real winners that tickle your fancy.

I liked the many many options when it came to food , sweets , drinks , etc. I got the cereal milk matcha & it was okay , it was worth the try. I also got a chocolate chip + smore cookie , that was really good . They had a bunch of other different options that I can't wait to go back to try . I had a sample of the honey lavender ice cream & it was a 10/10 it was a different but very satisfying taste .Last but certainly not least , I got a bulgogi & egg sandwich .. 10/10 very sweet & savory .

The gentleman that was making our drinks didn't really seem like he wanted to be there and wasn't as friendly as the others. We love Asian inspired flavors like pandan and ube and this place had it all! There were so many innovative and unique ice cream flavors like Vietnamese coffee, lychee, pandan coconut, etc. It was a little overwhelming at first because there was just so many desserts and drinks to choose from! They also had cafe drinks and we ordered a few to try! I had the banana pudding matcha latte and it's honestly one of the better matcha lattes I've had. There were scoops of banana pudding in the matcha both on the bottom and top. Each sip had that delicious banana flavor (not artificial) along with the matcha. It wasn't too sweet and banana goes extremely well with the matcha. My SIL had the lavender matcha latte and she enjoyed it as well. Lavender can overpower alot of flavors if not done right and they did it right here! The flavors were balanced well without it being too floral. My husband had the latte with pandan cream foam and what he loved about it was that he can taste the pandan flavor. Pandan is a very light and delicate flavor so it can get a bit muddled with other flavors. I tried it and the pandan's flavor was bold and bright. Mixed with the espresso and milk and it was creamy and delicious. We also got three cookies to try: Vietnamese coffee, ube, and pandan coconut. The cookies were about $5 a pop but they were so worth it! They were all huge and jam stuffed with either chocolate chips, coconut, or white chocolate chips! I am literally still dreaming about the cookies! My favorite cookie was probably the pandan coconut one but the ube and Vietnamese coffee one were close. The Vietnamese coffee cookie was good but the flavor of the coffee could be stronger. I do appreciate how rich and decadent each cookie was and I will absolutely come back just for the cookies haha. They had a bunch of different and unique flavors too! We also got some ice cream to try. My husband had the pandan coconut and SIL got the cream cheese red velvet. They know how to make their ice cream right that's for sure. The flavors were like a punch to your face (in a good way) and we all agreed that they were both delicious. I'm knocking one star off because the service could be a little friendlier. Can't wait to come back and try more desserts off their menu (they had cakes, macarons, etc.).
