Cindy is indeed very nice as everyone says, but I am about results and how easy something is to fit…read moreinto my schedule. There are things I learned by switching that made such a difference for me. After switching I pay $20 less PER appt and get way better results. After 11 months I was not getting any results, not even improvements so I went somewhere else. With Cindy, getting appointments was a challenge and time between appointments effects how efficient it is and getting an appoint kinda felt like a game and untill I found the hack (read on). Turns out there are multiple types of electrolysis. I found another type to be more effective on me and less painful. If you have low sodium definitely look into different methods. This factor and time between appointments was the issue for me. Also, If you're trying to address a specific area, good luck with that, she flat out won't do less than she feels you should. Now a lot of people want every single hair including peach fuzz gone, you will be happy. I get mostly white soft peach fuzz with a handfull of dark hairs in one small area around a mole. I told her not to do certain areas and even tried to activly stop her as she did blond hairs. but she did it against my constant reqests. I went so far as to circle in eyeliner the only area I wanted done but she stilllll did what she wanted. I ended up with dark hairs growing back where it was originally only blond peach fuzz and more areas needed treatment. She swore that was impossible but there was never visable hair there before, now there is; only one thing changed. Everytime I asked for an appointment at a specific day/time she's was all booked up for that whole week. No matter how early I asked or how many weeks I selected. I don't know how to explain it but it seemed disingenuous. But here is a little trick. Ask for an appt half hour after you want it. When she says no, ask her to recommend someone else since that's when you are available. Her schedule miraculously opens for half an hour before you innitally requested. Like immediately, not cause someone cancels, just, now it's available. I did this about 7 times, worked every time but the games seemed unnecessary. I was waiting 6-8 weeks between appts with Cindy. I figured out that time between appts was a big part of the issue for me. Once I started going to Paula every 3-4 weeks as recommended it has been working way better. After switching I have gotten better and more immediate results. So don't just go off reviews try different types and see what works best for your schedule and body chemistry and schedule.

The lobby and treatment room seemed clean and welcoming, and the service for checking in and out was also pleasant. The service itself was unfortunately not great... I got a Brazilian and lower half legs. My sugarista was kind and a good conversationalist, but the technique was just not there. I've been getting sugared since 2018 and this was the most painful experience. It's typical for my legs to twitch as a reflex during the backs of my calves and ankles, but I'm pretty adapted to the sensation of a Brazilian. I was sadly near tears during this service. It also took a long time, but that is understandable for sugaristas who aren't the most experienced. Because of how the service was going, I casually asked her how long she's been sugaring, and I think she answered just under 2 years. During our conversation, I mentioned to her that I sugar my own underarms sometimes to save money/time, and I ended up giving HER tips... I hope my advice at least helped her, lol. For the amount of time it took, I at least expected to have minimal hairs left behind. But my entire "horseshoe" area was still full and I had multiple patches of 6-8 hairs on each leg. To be fair, before checking out, the staff did ask me if everything seemed good, but there were so many patches that I would've felt nit-picky pointing them all out. I ended up touching up the areas myself a few days later with homemade sugar wax; it was too many hairs to tweeze away individually. Overall, I don't regret my visit because I had a wedding that weekend and couldn't get an appointment with an independent sugarista on short notice (which is how I usually get sugared). But I wouldn't recommend it as a regular place to go, especially because the prices are about par for independent estheticians who usually have 5+ years of experience. I absolutely understand that newer estheticians have to work somewhere and practice in order to reach that level of expertise, but maybe the business should have reduced prices for services with the less experienced sugaristas like hair salons do for stylists with different levels of experience.
