My friend told me people living in the area could get their dairy products here on pre-assigned days. I love this community living. Due to covid-19, only 3 people (same party) are allowed inside the store. The washroom is also closed. You could see see the goats and kids and watch them feeding from the trough. Inside the shop, there are some local or BC products which will make good gifts or souvenirs. The sorbet and gelato are also great, especially when the weather is hot. I will suggest to have a cooler/ice box in your car if you intend to buy any cheese or milk. I did not have it and the fat/oil from my cheese truffle oozed out onto the lid of another container. Lucky it did not get any messier. But the cheese and yogurt are all good after I put them in the fridge when I got home. Nice place for a stop if you are in the Harrison Hot Springs area. And get the sorbet! It is so refreshing.

How can we be on a farm tour and be so hungry!?!? Let this be a lesson to you...bring food with you!!! Anyway, the moment we stepped in the store I realized we reached the motherland...a large free tasting area with toothpicks abound and about 8 varieties of gouda to sample. Oh and free coffee and lemon cake!!!!!! Free cake!!! I was so freakin happy it was ridiculous. I almost didn't notice the woman playing the piano. Nice touch. All in all, some yummy cheese. I didn't really care for all the flavoured stuff. I'm a bit of a puritan. But the aged and goat gouda were delicious. They also had a very smart snack pack option for 5$ which we bought and devoured. Definitely a good spot to stock on goodies for the road. Oh and we also picked up some local pork sausages for dinner...i found the smokies were tasty but the Italian ones needed way more spicing. And both were really salty. Still ate 2 though.

They freshly slice deli meats and cheeses and carry a lot of Dutch type groceries, etc. What I especially like about them is that they'll have specials on for ham, pre-sliced certain things, all under $1.25/100g. Where 400 grams of some deli meats works out to costing under $5 unlike the regular grocery store. I happily buy $30 worth of deli cuts there and it lasts me the week. A complete diamond in the rough of todays prices. I wish they were open longer (I think they close at 5pm during weekdays) -- but if you haven't been here before, and you live in Chilliwack - go in once at least, you will return, for sure.
