Went to Home Depot for a toilet and installation and had the misfortune of this company taking the job. The installer didn't know what he was doing, communicated poorly, and regularly said he was getting parts from Lowe's (smh). The installer replaced the flange incorrectly and said thetoilet didn't fit, told me I'd need to hire someone else "who knows how to do it to do it", then left. I contacted Home Depot who could not find any notes on the job. After not being contacted as promised, I got a scheduling text message. Second installer from here comes, does the install and the new toilet doesn't flush. He blamed it on a clog, though the original toilet had no issues with flushing. Bad installation, the wax ring blocked the drain. I would cancel any job this group gets, save yourself. read more

We bought a new dishwasher from Lowe's. It was installed by Heaton Construction Friday afternoon. They started up the dishwasher to make sure it worked, and it did. Next morning she did some dishes in the sink that she does not like to do in the dishwasher. Drains the water in the sink and our kitchen floods. I check under the sink. I have never seen anything like this, a hose clamped onto another hose and that hose is clamped to another hose and that hose is split wide open at the top of the hose. Called Lowe's, nothing that they can do until Monday morning and they would have to call Heaton and they have two business days to respond (not fix, but respond). I was given Heaton's phone number, called. Got a message to hold, but found out that they were closed until Monday. Could not leave a message. So without a sink and dishwasher until they get out here to fix it. read more

They installed a water heater purchased from Lowe's. On completion I noticed dents. Lowes is maybe a 1/4 mile from my house. Why wouldn't the installer return it and bring me a new one? Good question that I never got a reply about. As a matter of fact Dallas the gentlemen who scheduled my installation from Heaton never returned any of my phone a calls and the installer said that I would not get the 5% off if I used my Lowe's card. I will never use them again and I would caution anyone who does to keep an eye of them the entire time. read more

The technicians do their job well. Unfortunately there is an extreme lack of connection from the people working in their main office to the customer. There is inadequate and slow attention given to a situation after initial installation. A lack of quick response where necessary and a lack of urgency on this organization. It's as if they got their money, so too bad. Well it is too bad when a company has certain protocol and Heaton has to return before a company will attempt to take necessary steps to resolve an issue. I DO NOT recommend Heaton at all. Again the technicians are fantastic to deal with. But not Josh and others within Heaton. i think Home Depot needs to get a contract with a more reputable company than Heaton. With all the work Home Depot must give them. they should start treating Home Depot's customers better instead of well the consumers really don't have a choice. Purchased a sink from Lowe's and this is the company contracted for installation. They came out three times just to measure because they kept screwing up. On the day the sink was actually installed they had measured wrong yet again and the tech had to shave off parts of the sink in order to get it to fit. They had to come back after they left because we had no hot water after installation. The tech said he didn't even think to check for hot water before he left. It is a double sink and the drain on either side is very loud when water is run on the opposite side. Another plumber told us this is because the p-trap is too tight and it used to have a double drain for this very reason. Heaton decided to install a single drain straight into the garbage disposal. It is so loud when water is being run that you can hear it from across the house. I also purchased a toilet and they had to come back to caulk because they never did. Lowe's offered a refund of the installation fee because this company screwed up so bad and this leaves us having to pay someone else to come fix their mistakes. Which I think we are likely to do because this is the only company Lowe's uses in our area for the one-year warranty and we don't trust them. It was a horrible experience. Took 5 weeks and in the end our brand new sink needs to be repaired. read more

This company took over the shower door installation from Lowes. They were very uncooperative and forced us to purchase a door we did not want. We thought they were the only installer for Lowes so we went along with them. WARNING!! Go into your Lowes store and schedule your installation with any other company. On August 1, 2024 Heaton was dispatched as a contractor with Lowe's to replace a water heater. My water heater was fully functional but older than 15 years and out of Compliance with my HOA. They originally promised to come out between 9-12. At 12:30 I called and found out the appointment was never made properly. They then promised someone would be out by 3pm to replace the water heater. Well all down Hill from there. The contractor came out, frustrated about the added job. He punctured a main waterline. He could not fix it himself as none of the local stores had the right fitting. The water had to be be shut off to all the people on my side of the building at 4pm in the afternoon. After this mistake the HOA was involved and I had very angry neighbors. Luckily the HOA noticed that they were not trying to hook up the drip pan to the drain line. The HOA representative also refused the solutions of waiting until in August 2, 2024 to fix the punctured pipe. So we called another plumber to come out to fix the pipe and I had to pay the emergency plumber $904. At this point my old water heater was disconnected. He also drained the water heater in my bathtub splashing hard water all over my tub which I had to buy CLR to remove but moving on. August 2, 2024 was my birthday so once the emergency plumber finished fixing the main water line (3am) I had to get on the road to my mini vacation way later than I needed to leave. They returned on 8.6.24 which is the day I returned from vacation to install the water heater. No issues that day except they did not fix the hole in my wall from the burst pipe. They also put this weird tank on the wall that was not their before. I requested my $904 to be discounted from the $1883 cost to replace the water heater. Heaton claimed they could not do this for insurance reason. They had to send a separate check. I did not get that check until 9.9.24. They claimed they did not know my mailing address and it was returned to them once. (Remember they came to my house twice). I got married on. 9.5.24 and stated that they have aggravated me during 2 major events in my life and did poor work and had poor customer service, I deserve a discount. The manager Caleb refused stating the only thing he owes me for all the headache is to patch my wall. My wall has not been fixed. Lowe's customer solution in the end gave me $100 off for all the headache. This is after continuous emailing and phone calls since 8.6.2024. Do not use these people. read more

This company's business model is outright FRAUD. They charged over $600/hr. ($1,200 in total) for the simple installation of a basic water heater - work normally completed by any reputable electrician for $90/hr. They probably paid the poor electrician $20/hr to actually do it. I genuinely don't know how their leadership sleeps at night. read more

Malik and his assistant installed a bathroom vanity for me today through Lowes installation and I'm very pleased. They adjusted the install to fit the peculiarities of my built-in-1980 home and consulted me every step of the way. They were friendly, prompt, skilled, articulate and all-around nice guys. My impression of Heaton is favorable enough to want to look them up when I have my next big house project. If these two young men are any indication of the caliber of person they hire, then I'm super-impressed! Heaton Construction was sub-contracted by Lowes to install a dishwasher for me. Once the dishwasher arrived at my local Lowes, they got it installed in slightly over 2 weeks. (The Lowes sales guy implied they'd likely be able to install it under a week after arrival, but I blame Lowes as they should know their subcontractor is generally 10-14 days out). John took great care of my house when installing my dishwasher, including taking extra precautions (shutting water off at the meter & draining pipes) as I have brittle CPVC pipes incase something unfortunate happened while disconnecting the old one. He also put down carpets to protect my floor, ran the dishwasher of a test cycle to check for leaks on the fill & drain cycle. He also showed where & how much Jet Dry to put in & made sure that I was able to setup the phone app to communicate with the dishwasher. I was previously informed (and pre-billed by Lowes) that I'd also need a GFCI outlet to meet new NEC Code requirements, and he took care of that as well. I know this company has many negative reviews on the Internet, but my experience with them was great & wouldn't have a problem with them working on other kitchen installs & upgrades. read more

I bought a dishwasher from Lowes and the first installer said he couldn't turn the water off, perhaps because he was too incompetent. Reschedule never happened. They made & postponed three times. The last time they never showed up or called and on each appointment we waited ALL DAY; no call, no show! Paula swore up & down it was a technical glitch and promised they would come (I have the voicemail to prove it). I ended up returning the dishwasher to Lowes and received a full refund. I wish that I could remove stars from them. As other people have stated, our experience was horrible. We purchased flooring from Home Depot (which was great), they subcontracted out to 2 separate companies (1 for the flooring installation and then this company for toilet removal and reinstallation). The flooring company was fantastic, this company was awful. Our toilets were removed and placed on our front porch. After the floors were installed (only a 1 day job), they didn't come back to reinstall the toilets. The answer I got was, they would return 3 days later!!! Who can go without a toilet for 3 days? When I called this company, I got someone in a different country (they don't even answer their own phone calls) who had no clue how to speak English. This guy tells me that the installer would be back in 3 days and acted like this was a good thing!! Then he transfers me to a manager. My call went straight to a voicemail. And still haven't heard from them. Stay away from this company. If Lowe's or Home Depot attempts to use this company for any projects, kindly decline and save yourself a big headache. Tried to give zero stars, but no luck. This ridiculous company was supposed to install a dishwasher purchased from Lowe's, but rescheduled numerous times. Finally after 1.5 months, they said they would deliver between 2-6pm. When 6pm past, they called and said 7pm. When 7pm past, the installer texted us and said the previous job is taking too long and has to reschedule...although we saw him on our street with the dishwasher!! Just like the company, the installer lied! Called Lowe's Corporate since they are the only install company they deal with, and they are reevaluating their contract, based on my consumer complaint. Essentially they have not honored their side of the contract. This company won't deal with me because I was upset. Although they created the horrible situation, apparently I'm at fault. Most companies know how to handle dissatisfied customers, but this one only knows how to dismiss consumers. The company's motto is Trust, Value, Satisfaction. Didn't see an ounce of that. They aren't worthy of BBB accreditation. The worst company in the history of horrible companies. read more
