I have had numerous Roofers ring my bell to tell me about my roofing needs, but Eddie was a cut above them all. Although quite young in appearance, don't let that fool you. He is extremely professional, well-mannered and is incredibly well versed and knowledgeable in roofing materials, products, and techniques. He walked me every step of the way with my insurance company process and was on hand both times the insurance adjuster came on the scene. (I've had roofers in the past not show up when they said they would for the Adjuster). I found that Eddie is a man of his word and did exactly what he promised in replacing my roof, from beginning to end. He definitely goes above and beyond the typical roofer using only the finest materials and crew. His crew is top notch, quick, precise, professional, courteous, and incredibly hard working. I can't rave enough about 1st Gen Roofing & Restoration and how happy I am that I made the choice to go with their services. A.M.H.

I was informed that I had a small leak in the front yard at my lake property, but I wasn't there to…read moresee it myself. I wanted to get it fixed ASAP, so I called Pierce's Plumbing. I told him that I wasn't sure what was going on, but it sounded like there was a small leak and I wasn't sure if it was something I was responsible for or if the county needed to handle it. It's a new property in a new city for us, so I was unaware the water meter was near the street instead of at the house. He was short with me, and treated me as if I was ridiculous for not knowing this. He was rude through our entire conversation. I told him I didn't live there full time, but I would be there Friday afternoon and all weekend. He spouted off something loud and fast, and then handed his phone to a woman who took my information. On Friday, I received a phone call from a different man who told me they were going to drive over and take a look. He was much nicer. I explained that I was in the car on the way there, but it would be a little while before I arrived. He said it was okay - they were 30 minutes away. When I got to the house approximately 90 minutes later, they were already gone, and it looked like there was a dug up area where the leak was. No one called me to tell me what was wrong or what they had to do to fix it. I had no idea if they just looked at it and left or if it was fixed. Weeks later, I received a bill for TWO HOURS of labor ($75 an hour) and $5.50 worth of parts. A grand total of $166.39. It's clear I was taken advantage of. There is no way they were there for 2 hours - his phone number and when I arrived there later makes that pretty clear. Last, even though I spelled my last name out phonetically (as I always do), it's absolutely mutilated on the bill. I also gave them my phone number, but for some reason, my parents phone number is on the bill as well. I haven't lived at home in 15 years, so that means they must have looked up my name online the CORRECT way to find old phone number, but still managed to misspell it on the bill and add letters that aren't even close. It looks really unprofessional. Overall, I'm just really disappointed. I have ran my own small business for 4 years, and I've been in customer service my entire professional career. They're missing the mark in all categories. Do yourself a favor and pick a different company.
