If you have the unfortunate luck of your vehicle breaking down near this place, as I did this past weekend, then have it towed elsewhere. Nox, Lily, and Bob are the best! I had a time sensitive car emergency and they accommodated me and fixed the problems within 12 hours. Also, Bob made sure to call me when he discovered other problems (i.e. I only had 8 pounds of pressure in one of my tires - oops!) before he made the repair. The overall price was very reasonable. My husband and I rented a U-Haul from this location yesterday and had a great experience. We just moved to the area and everyone at Heath's was so welcoming! They were telling us helpful info about our neighborhood and introducing us to other people from the area. Then, when we went to drop the U-Haul off they made it very easy. On a recent cold Saturday morning, my battery wouldn't hold a charge. Called a number of service stations in the New Hope-Lambertville area. All had the same response: bring the car in, we'll get to it if we can...no guarantees..it's a Saturday and we close early. But Nate at Heath had an answer that was music to my ears: go have breakfast and come back in an hour. True to his word, he replaced my battery, charged me a fair price, helped other motorists with their problems and remained cheerful the whole time. Highly recommended. read more

I got there with a nail in my tire (which I did not know when I arrived). Everyone was really nice, this guy held the door for me on my way in and on my way out. Totally unnecessary but nice nonetheless. Then the guy who helped me was cool (owner's son), took my car in right away, and called me 15 minutes later. Bob Heath has integrity!. His Mechanic's stay with him and have been as he is most honest and helpful. I am a mature women with only one car. My husband does not drive he is blind. My 80 year old husband and I (age 79), and a friend who was driving, were heading home to the Adirondack's returning from a visit with our son in Philly when the brakes on our van started acting oddly. We pulled over to check. It was 3:00 on a Sunday. The wheel was hot. We called AAA. They said no one would look until Monday but they could tow the car to their garage or one across the road. BUT they wouldn't take the 3 of us, only 2 and the other person could call a cab. Very funny. They left us and said we should call them back with our decision. We limped to a motel and stayed over. In the morning we tried their garages. One wouldn't even look until 3:00 and the other said they'd look around 10:00 but couldn't guarantee a fix. My husband who'd designed at Bucks County Playhouse for 6 years in the good old days remembered the name HEATH's GARAGE. Heath's was a mile away. I called. Bob Heath was simply wonderful and told us to come right over. To make a long story a bit shorter, we were fixed (new caliper and hose) and on our way by 10:30. I can't say enough good about the whole Heath's experience. Lovely, caring people. Fine mechanics. Plus 2 dogs to pat while we waited. Five stars aren't enough to describe these folks. read more
