I Love Dr, Heather Wilmore. She is very patience and very caring. I decided I wanted Invisalign, after I made an appointment, hurricane Harvey hit. After a year and a couple of months. I decided I wanted to pursue it again. After my first opinion was a straight up disaster I decided to give Dr. wilmore a call again. I informed her that the first dentist informed me I need "Jaw surgery". . She was able to throughly research and work directly with Invisalign to ensure my treatment will not required surgery. I wish I would've seen the other reviews before. The WORST dental experience I have ever had. Starting with the poor customer service, to say the least. There is no customer service at all. The doctor interacted with me twice in my whole treatment (over a year). I saw her every time talking to other members of the her staff, laughing and gossiping though. I just wanted it to be over, so I did not see them again. Both the doctor and her staff, only care about your money and get the forms signed. They do not care about the treatment they are performing, nonetheles you or any question you might have. I regret having my Invisalign treatment here (I did it because of a Groupon). It was not worth it and not cheap either, at the end they charge you $700usd more. I learned my lesson. But still, I do not understand how they are still open? Save yourself time, money and most of all a rude treatment. read more

The impression that I got from this dentist office. It is very nice. It's got built in TVs so you can watch movies or whatever while they work on you. the decor is all fancy. I went because I had a local deal or whatever and am new to the area. So if I can get cheap services and discover a potential new dentist that would be great. They seem accommodating but only to a certain point - I had an appointment and work kept me over seas for an extra few weeks. I called in to reschedule and the receptionist Nancy was a bit short with me. which is strange - she was very polite in person. maybe she was having a bad day... but she sorta implied that she would refuse to reschedule me. Condescending really - how dare you waste our time. Threatening to not schedule me in because of my unplanned work life... not a good business strategy. read more

Update: After having been back to see them a couple more times, I am happy again. It seems that some of my frustrations have been taken care of and I am more comfortable in the office again. I really liked this office at first, but am starting to be unsure if this is the office for me. Everyone is friendly at this office and it has a nice atmosphere. However, over the past two years or so that I have been a loyal patient, things have gotten less and less professional. The last time I was there, in January, doctor Wilmore barely spoke to me, instead gossiping with the assistant with me in the room. This was not the first time I felt this way. Since I have been seeing this doctor, I have been noticing less and less professionalism with regards to the amount of attention the dentist gives me and more and more attention given to personal problems. My other concern is that I had a filling done that will not stay on and is beginning to ache, so I will be seeking a second opinion to determine what else can be done. I am not sure if this is the fault of Dr. Wilmore, and that is partially why I am seeking add'l professional advice. Furthermore, I had to cancel my routine cleaning and exam due to having a baby the same week I was scheduled for my cleaning. I explained this when I called the cancel the appointment and also expressed that I would call back in my own time. Since then, the office has called me multiple times a week and has been sending regular emails and text messages. I am feeling harassed. read more

Went in today for my appointment and I couldn't be happier. The hygienist I saw was Stacy and she did such a great job with my teeth cleaning and she was super nice. I was in and out of the office in 1.5hrs which I was impressed with since it was my first visit. Dr. Wilmore came in after my cleaning was done, she too was pretty nice and laid back, I didn't get the feeling that she was rushing through my appointment either. The last two dentist I saw were more into trying to sell me stuff I didn't need. So I was very glad they didn't try to talk me into gum therapy, oral cancer screening or what ever the new thing is this month. read more

6 month teeth cleaning. I've never been one to enjoy my visits to the dentist (if you are...weird) but everything about my visit was pleasant. My cleaning was super thorough. The hygienist was polite...but not trying to make my talk while I have all of her trade tools hanging out of my mouth which I appreciate. I've had this sensitivity in one of my teeth that I've kind of been freaking out was a big old cavity. Turns out it wasn't and they knew exactly what it was (apparently I grind mh teeth and wear down enamel...but you probably don't want to read my whole medical history so I'll stop). Dr Wilmore realizes that your time is valuable and that there is more to do than sit in a waiting room reading magazines, we arrived for our appointment and were quickly taken back. The staff are friendly and ensure your comfort. Unlike other dentists that may promote high dollar solutions, Dr Wilmore was able to repair the tooth and we were on our way in 20 minutes! Full transparency - I worked with Dr Wilmore (Heather) many years ago when she was a pediatric intensive care nurse. Heather was a consummate professional, she cared and advocated for her pediatric patients and her critical care skills were excellent. I regret getting my treatment here. After pretty much a year of treatment my teeth were NOT fixed as promised. This doctor is taking on more cases than she can handle and that should not be legal. It's like an Invisalign factory in here. All she cares about is getting your money and once she has that she will not care the least bit about you. Don't be fooled by the low prices either, as this does not included the final required retainer which is about $700 and all other Invisalign providers DO include this, that's why her prices might seem better, but they're really not. I have been coming to Dr Wilmore for over 8 years and have never been disappointed. I always go right into a room, I often have to bring my two small children with me and the team there have been nothing but helpful. Ariana especially has always taken time to talk to my kids while I'm getting work done. Dr. Wilmore has always been gentle and quick. She gives me options and explains the pros and cons to the different treatment plans. She also was the only doctor to identify a allergy to certain crowns which helped with a reduction of cold sensitivity. Her prices are extremely reasonable for the care provided and I have called with dental problems and have almost always gotten same day appointments. I have Cerebral Palsy and it's a challenge to do any type of dental work in my mouth. Ms Wilmore and her staff is so nice and patience with me. Everytime I go there for an appointment. I never have to wait a long time to be seen. The next day after your appointment a staff member will call you to check up on you. The provider's bedside manner was abysmal. I came for the dental portion of my Army physical. Fortunately, I've established a relationship with a local dentist who I trust with my care as I couldn't imagine actual receiving necessary treatment at Wilmore DDS. Further, if I'd had any apprehension related to dental care, this visit would have caused considerable lasting anxiety. I don't even know if the provider was, indeed, Dr. Wilmore as whomever was under the mask (does it even get changed between patients?) neither greeted me nor introduced herself. I never even saw a whole face. I'd liken her behavior and bedside manner to someone providing veterinary or mortuary care. The visit lasted less than 5 minutes and there was no actual examination of my dental/oral health performed. If the "exam" were not a mandatory requirement related to my military service, I'd not have entertained her and walked out immediately. It seems terrible providers contract with LHI to receive pay and guaranteed clientele without providing quality care or courteous service. Soldiers are human. It's okay to treat us as such. Wilmore DDS staff & providers don't seem aware that the Dept. of Defense will still pay providers if they treat service members with dignity. It's not mandatory to treat us like animals. read more

It started off great. Nice place, friendly staff, TVs at every station and above your head while you get work done and Invisalign at a crazy affordable price. So, I had a really bad experience because I got burned with the glue that was used to place the "buttons"/ brackets on for the Invisalign. The assistant was busy watching the tv screen and made a huge mistake in burning me. When she noticed, she wiped it off with her gloved hand and told me to put vitamin E on it. She said it happens. I spoke to Dr. Wilmore about the burn and the assistant's mistake, and she said that she would talk to the girl about it. I told her that they should have a better process when these accidents happen. Maybe have the person wash off their face?? I don't know, I am not the professional but I'm sure there is a better practice other than just wiping it off with your hand and applying vitamin E. Luckily, the vitamin E did help it not to scar. It was all downhill after that, I had a few more months of Invisalign and everytime I went back the front office staff stopped being friendly and were very quiet when I would arrive, which to me was unprofessional. The doctor remained friendly when I would see her, so at least that. But, mostly it was the staff providing you with your trays when you needed more. Lastly, I went to my regular dentist in the downtown area for a checkup and he said that the Invisalign made my teeth straighter in the front but the back teeth were completely unaligned. So, to this day, when I bite down - my teeth do not touch in the back -- my jaw which was aligned prior to this treatment with Dr. Wimore is now unaligned. On the day that I got my buttons off with their office, I received another tiny cut on my gums from the removal. I'm sure that was just a mistake, too. *sigh* I will never go back, and I believe that this Groupon deal was the worst deal I ever had. I am sure that if I told the doctor that I wanted to continue with the treatments to fix the misalignment, she would have given me more trays and I'm sure she would have tried to fix it. But because of the prior bad experiences, I decided to quit going after my final round of trays. I will be purchasing Invisalign again from an orthodontist in the near future to fix my unaligned jaw. Some things are just worth the extra cost - like your teeth. I learned the hard way. read more

I went to Dr. Wilmore about 16 months ago to have a crown replaced. She is super nice and her office is beautiful. Her staff is really friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, she doesn't take my insurance and so I changed dentists. My new dentist did routine x-rays and found that the crown she had put on was leaking. Because the crown had just been placed 16 months before, insurance wouldn't cover another one. I called Dr. Wilmore's office and explained the situation. Although they usually only guarantee crowns for one year and mine was 4 months over, she went ahead and took care of the problem and replaced the crown free of charge! I think that it was awesome of her to stand behind her work and take care of me the way she did. I had the new crown placed today and it feels good. Hopefully this one will not leak. I guess sometimes they can leak if the lab didn't make them correctly or the mold wasn't taken correctly. Either way, I am very happy with Dr. Wilmore's customer service and think she is very kind and professional. I would go back to her if her office accepted my insurance but unfortunately it doesn't. read more

From the front desk support to the dental prep to the Dr., each person is uniquely skilled and you can tell they also love what they do!
