I was told that per the American medical Association. I had to see my primary care physician every three months. Turns out that was a lie. It was company policy not the American medical Association's policy. I was also told that I could do telehealth appointments once I moved out of state. When I signed on for my last telehealth visit, the office had no problem taking my payment. About an hour before my appointment was supposed to start. I received a phone call saying that the doctor could no longer treat me because I lived out of state. I ended up having to call the office manager and pitch a fit because they were gonna keep my money for the appointment even though it was their fault for not informing me that they could no longer see me. Do not trust this practice do not trust the doctors that run this practice. They are all about the money and could honestly care less about the patient. What an incredible disappointment.

This is after he sent me his treatment plan!! He did not provide ANY explanation at all as to WHY he would do that and he proceeded to AVOID all further correspondence with me. After discussing my many medical symptoms that could benefit from peptides, he initially gave me hope that working with him would bring me to better health. Then ALL OF A SUDDEN he DROPPED me. ZERO accountability or apology for how he mishandled this situation. I wanted an explanation as to why he did a 180 but he continued to not respond to my calls or emails at all. I wanted him to know that he had mistreated me, robbed me of hope, and left me very confused as to why a doctor who said he would help me suddenly ghosted me. His conduct is beyond UNPROFESSIONAL and I would hate for someone else to go through what I did.

Her care for her patients is impeccable and I have followed her wherever she went. I have always recommended her to other friends and coworkers when they are looking for a physician and they have also held her in high regards because of how great of a physician she is. Dr. Deberry is very knowledgeable and is very friendly and patient. When I have needed to be referred out for other medical concerns, she has made great recommendations / referrals. She takes her time with you and does not rush like some physicians may do. She explains things in detail and you leave there with a good understanding of what's going on with your body. I highly recommend her for anyone that's looking for a physician.

I would not recommend going here unless you want to be taken advantage of and pay for things you did not ask for. Dr. Wallace at Roper St. Francis Primary Care took advantage of my college age daughter who simply asked for a well-women appointment that is covered by our insurance. My daughter first had to pay for a "new patient" appointment before she would even schedule a well-woman exam. During that appointment Dr. Wallace requested my daughter get testing for something she was already being treated for by a different professional. My daughter told her she was already paying a lot of money to have this issue resolved by a different professional. She assured my daughter she would label this testing as preventative care so insurance would cover it 100%. Well, she did not label it as preventative, so now we are paying $390 for a test my daughter did not even need in addition to $120 for a new patient apt that was totally unnecessary and my daughter still did not get her well-woman check. So she had to schedule a second apt for that. At her well-woman check, (which only lasted 10 mins because Dr. Wallace was 45 mins late and had one foot out the door before even walking in) Dr. Wallace mentioned my daughter's test results, which were completely normal and we already knew from my chart. However, because Dr. Wallace spent 2 mins talking to my daughter about her "normal" test results, we were charged an additional $113 because it was not part of the well-woman check, so we were charged an additional appointment fee for information my daughter already knew and did not ask for. I talked to our insurance company and the front desk at the doctor's office and they agreed we should not have been charged. However, when talking to manager, she refused to help us out or adjust any payments. So now we are being charged $623 for a well-woman appointment that should not have cost anything at all.

I get all of my tests, xrays, etc done through an MUSC location. Their online portal is really helpful and easy to use. The doctors at this site are awesome- they truly care about you and will do any and everything to get to the bottom of your issue. The front office staff are all so friendly and helpful from making the appointment, to checking in/out and with any billing questions you have later on. They always get me in as soon as possible, I never have to wait to be seen. No issue is too small to be seen.

There have been times I've had to call back because there are other patients other than myself. My wife has been ill for several days and when we went to the Roper Care it was a 2.5 hour wait. We had to drive over 10 miles in heavy traffic just to see someone. For the first time...ever...I stopped in because she was in need a medical attention less an emergency room. Unbelievably the staff realized the situation with a regular senior patient and took a look at her. She did have a medical situation that needed treatment. At the least I was hoping they could call the ER to get us up front. No. They took care of their patient. It is not something we will ask probably ever again. The entire staff is beyond reproach and should be the bar for which others should emulate. Do No Harm is alive and well with Dr. Burger and Dr Katz' staff of professionals.

Every person I've talked to, whether on the phone or in the room has been so kind. My visit with Ashley was so great. She was recommended by my chiropractor (Dr Nicole Goldin--also highly recommended). Ashely talked to me for probably about 30-45 minutes and was very sympathetic to my concerns. I truly felt like she really cared about what I'm going through and that she wants to help find a solution for my chronic pain, rather than just hand me a script for sleeping pills and send me away. I have also had to call the office about 8 times in the last two days because of difficulties getting a prescription filled (not their fault) and while I'm sure the poor receptionist is tired of talking to me, she hasn't let it reflect in her tone at all. She's always very sweet and I appreciate their patience. I am very happy with my experience here.

Their decision directly contradicts their own published policy guidelines. I tried resolving this with the office manager, but she continues to uphold a position that violates their own public-facing policy.I'm changing doctors. If I receive a bill for this fee, I will immediately dispute it in small claims court and file formal complaints with the BBB and State Attorney General's office.Patients deserve billing that follows written policy, not staff discretion.
