Took their tech just 10 minutes to tell us we were low on freon due to a bad coil and we were looking at $3500 to replace. Guy never used a leak detector he just knew the leak was in the coil. I wanted a 2nd opinion before spending that kind of money so I called J&R based on their 5 star Yelp rating and the things people were saying in their reviews. Joe showed up, immediately took the unit apart, and spent over an hour using a leak detector to try to locate the coolant leak. Couldn't find a leak. He ended up leaving the system pressurized with nitrogen over a weekend only to come back on Monday and find no pressure loss. No leak - no bad coil. The issue was the other guys (who've serviced our units for 2 yrs) had left the valve caps loose on the exterior unit. Joe's diligence and honesty saved us a lot of money and earned him a customer for life. Its really rare nowadays to find someone with this kind of ethics. Joe's a likeable guy, explains what he's doing and why, and isn't out there trying to run up the tab on the repair. You sometimes hear companies saying they'll treat you like family. Joe never said that and its not on their website or their marketing material but that's definitely how I felt I was treated - like family.

I went with my gut and contacted Jeremy. I told him I needed concrete placed around my pit and I needed it done as soon as possible. Jeremy assured me that he could have it done in a reasonable time. Reynaud started servicing my old traine system a few months ago. And when the power kept tripping…read moreI was informed that the system will need to be replaced. It was over 15 years since it was installed by something like "foolbay". Well, I got a free estimate the same day when I called. I asked if there was a better options than a direct replacement. Mark came back with the best "Bang for the Buck" offer. I clicked on the online estimate agreement, I then received a confirmation and install time within minutes. They had a replacement system installed the next week. The team were totally pros the entire process. Even the replacement was so quick that they had the new system running before the house became hot. And it was another Atlanta scorcher in the 90's. The post install was really great. The entire area they were working was clean and neat (I think it looked better then before.) Mark went over all the documentation and how to get that extra warranty by the manufacturers web site. We also went over the service followup and any questions I could think of. They also went over the thermostat programming and the configuration options. I only wish I had call Reynaud the first time I need HVAC service. I would have saved a fortune.

They sent inexperienced workers with no supervisor. They damaged a water pipe, left all their trash, and never finished the job we had agreed on. When I asked why they hadn't done the job I was paying them for, their answer was, "That was too hard and would take awhile, so we did it our way instead". I did not get what I paid for and had to repair much of the work they performed. One of the owners, Bob Stone, offered a partial refund at the end of Sept '22 and am still waiting. Mr. Stone has become the consummate "check is in the mail" guy. His business partner Terry Cowart, a local preacher, wouldn't even return a phone call. Stay away from these guys. Hire anyone else.
