The only problem is I felt when it came to thinking about getting hearing aids. I was getting more pressure than I wanted to buy. I know I'm covered up to $4000 for hearing aids, but the guy kept telling me he could get me on $150 monthly payment plan. Why would I want that if I have $4000 to get hearing aids with? That's unless the hearing aids were like $8000. I had to tell them I think about it.

I can't say enough good things about Chris and the team at AccuHear in Spring Hill. Chris was…read moreprofessional, patient, and incredibly thorough. He took the time to explain my hearing test results clearly, answered every question, and made sure I felt comfortable and confident throughout the whole process--never rushed, never pressured. Getting hearing aids has been genuinely life-changing. I didn't realize how much I was missing until I had them. Conversations are clearer, I'm not constantly asking people to repeat themselves, and everyday situations feel easier and less exhausting. I feel more present with family and friends, and even small things--like hearing voices clearly again--have made a big difference. If you're considering hearing aids and you've been putting it off, I highly recommend AccuHear. The care, knowledge, and follow-through made all the difference.

An eye doctor should ask about a patient's actual medical history instead of making assumptions…read more This doctor saw that I was overweight and saw "diabetes" in my chart, and from that he made huge assumptions without asking a single question about my current health, my diet, or the prevention steps I am actively working on. Instead of gathering information, he launched into a lecture that had nothing to do with my eyes. He told me that diabetes would be affecting my heart and the rest of the blood vessels in my body, and then he started asking about my bones and joints. What do my bones and joints have to do with my eyes or my retina. Absolutely nothing. It was inappropriate, unprofessional, and completely unrelated to the reason I was there. If he had taken a moment to ask, he would have learned that I have lost over 100 pounds, that I work closely with my physician's office, and that I am fully committed to my health, my diet, and long term prevention. None of that mattered to him. He chose to assume, judge, and lecture instead of listening. He is, unfortunately, like many doctors who contribute to the problem instead of being part of a real solution or a reliable source of patient centered care. Patients deserve to be heard, not stereotyped. An eye appointment should be about my eyes, not a conversation filled with unrelated medical warnings and assumptions. I left the appointment with almost no understanding of the actual purpose of this specialist visit. Because of this experience, I will not be doing any further business with this company. ZERO stars
