Update: June 27, 2019…read more I find the doctors here to be very personable and down-to-earth. Most of us don't relish doctor's visits so it's nice to go somewhere where they know me and can make proper referrals to all the right specialists.

The clinic is organized very nicely taking steps for a wellness side and the sick side. I had not thought of this before, but it makes sense! Why expose an otherwise healthy infants or young child to illness if they are just there for routine care? I like that Dr. Ward has been in practice for around 20 years, her bedside manner is fantastic. She is very down to earth and knowledgeable. Her group has access to Oak Hill Hospital, and have won awards for their care. I look forward to having her as our family pediatrician.

The next visit was great with Lauren then I was handed off to the nurse practioner , in May I had an appointment I went to the appointment paid my copayment sat down to wait while waiting I recieved a message that my 82 year old dad had fallen . I told the front desk I had to leave for an emergency he said I could use the copayment for next visit . After I few months I recieved an invoice for 34.19 I then called asked what for was told not to worry till they research. The next appointment I asked again . I was told they did not know what for. And then got a message from Lauren. She said she was gonna research. I then got a call they wanted to go over my liver mri . I said ok when I went to the appointment I was told I could not be seen over the 34.19 . The office manager took me in a room and told me it was because I left early over 6 months ago and insurance did not cover that visit. I was angry very mad to the point my predisone kicked in which never has before . I then said I was leaving a bad review over this for it was a ridiculous charge and it told me this doctor doesnt care for me she cares for money and reviews .she left a message in my patient portal terminating my care with her. Do your research before even walking in there

We can confidently say that he is one of the most compassionate and thorough doctors we have ever had, if not the most. We am very impressed with the attention he provides to each patient. Dr. Joud takes the time to listen to our concerns without rushing through the appointment. He explains medical conditions and treatment in a way that is easy to understand. We always leave feeling reassured and well cared for. When I was admitted to the hospital, Dr. Joud went above and beyond when providing care for our very complex medical issues. His specialty referral can never be matched. The office staff is always friendly, making scheduling appointments easy. The office is immaculate, and I never feel like another number. The initial visit was OK, but after she gathered my basic information, the "care" was quite lax. She didn't have any ideas to improve my health. I have zero confidence in her as a doctor. In my opinion, she does the bare minimum and charges as much money as she can. I also found her to be rude and inpatient. She's very expensive and upcharges. My first visit my insurance was billed $380.00, My follow up visit she billed my insurance $295.00. On the plus side, her office staff and nurses are excellent.

My experience, however, was not the best. The waiting time was surprisingly long despite being second in line. I waited for 40 minutes in the waiting room which wasn't a big deal for me but I was in the actual exam room for a long time, and it wasn't a very busy day. At one point I was alone in the waiting room. Once they finally got to me, I explained how I felt, since I had flu like symptoms and I needed some blood work done, and that's where my bad time was had. Here's the deal, nobody likes needles. I was told I have tiny veins, and after sticking me three times and two different arms I didn't end up getting the blood sample I needed. As soon as they pulled the needle out, blood was all over my arm, and some fell to the floor. Honestly, I'm a bit traumatized. I've had blood taken out before, and it has been very quick, almost painless, and one and done. This was a rough experience for me and idk if I can bring myself to go back after that. This was just my experience. I don't want to trash on the whole urgent care because people did seem very kind, but the waiting time was pretty long for an office that didn't seem so busy. I did after the third needle have a mini panic attack and they got me water and calmed me down. They gave me a slip to go to quest diagnostics after a few days because they couldn't get the bloodwork they needed. It's been a rough 2025 start, fam. Hoping that folks have better experiences than me.
