Anywhere Audiology! I could have an audiologist come to her. Making the appointment was simple. Dr. Emma was absolutely wonderful with my mom. She is kind, patient, patient, thorough and a wonderful professional. She worked with my insurance to get her the best hearing aids and maximize her coverage. From making the appointment to the in-home hearing test to bringing her the hearing aids for final adjustments, the experience with Dr. Emma was excellent- absolutely 5-stars. She was even kind enough to squeeze in making an adjustment to my Mom's hearing aids right before a big holiday. If you're thinking about calling them, I say don't hesitate. From the very beginning, we felt she was in caring and capable hands. The exam was comprehensive, and everything was explained with patience and clarity. When we returned two weeks later for the hearing aids, Audiologist Suzette Xie took the time to gently guide my mother on how to use and wear them, making sure she felt comfortable and confident throughout. The fit was excellent, and my mother can now hear clearly again. Conversations now feel natural, and the simple relief of not having to repeat everything has made a huge difference for everyone in the family. We're truly grateful for the care and attention she received. The office has a very friendly atmosphere, and the staff were accommodating with no attitude, even when I needed to make a last minute change to my appointment that day. The wait time was under 10 minutes. Highly recommended.

Dr. G took her time to explain what she was thinking based on my interview answers but also asked, where appropriate, follow up questions to understand why I would answer her questions the way I did. Dr. G spent the time needed to deeply investigate how I would use a pair of hearing aids to enable her to make her best possible recommendation and for where hearing aids would help me the most. I was pleased Dr. G would get into the 'nitty gritty' of what hearing aids would actually do to help me and my loved ones. Before I retired, I managed a consulting practice for a major technology organization for a Fortune 500 corporation. i understand the difference between a superficial and a more intense interview. Dr. G explained several times that she wanted to understand what aspects of my hearing I would want to improve the most and setting my expectations of what I could expect. I was also impressed with how Dr. G included my wife in our discussions, seeking her input where appropriate. We would become a team working together to achieve a life-fulfilling goal. I am very comfortable with Dr. G's approach, and could feel the depth of her knowledge and practical experience in this subject area. I am looking forward to continuing the process that will affirm the type of hearing aid that will serve me my loved ones the best. I was pleased to see that her approach was more than checking off boxes on a spreadsheet, but really delved into what I do during the course of a day and the relative importance of the many different activities we discussed. I have had an earlier experience with a major hospital regarding the fit and use of hearing aids. That experience left me disappointed where I questioned the entire idea of using a hearing aid. My experience with Dr. G is 180 degrees different from my earlier experience. I am excited and looking forward to engaging in the process to effectively learn to use a hearing aid under Dr.G's guidance.

I went in for a hearing test - my first since grade school, I think - which Dr. Weible oriented me to and then conducted there in ten minutes in a sound-tight booth. He shared the results with me immediately and in detail, and while my comprehension was good to my surprise I had some noticeable high frequency hearing loss. He explained the hearing aid options, and the potential negatives of not doing anything, and then fitted me easily with the Lyric in-ear 24/7 aid (NYC Hearing assists in the development of this Swiss-made aid and has the latest versions). Total elapsed time: less than an hour. In the four weeks since I've been very pleased with the comfort and acuity. The return visits have been friendly and efficient and based on my last assessment I have near perfect hearing now with the Lyrics, which I forget I have in - and they are invisible to boot. I heartily recommend Dr. Weible and NYC Hearing. The 67th Street office is modern, clean, and has a wall full of platinum records from satisfied clients of the audiologists and the affiliated nose and throat practice (you'll recognize the Grammy winners among them :). My appointment started a few minutes early. (Who ever heard of a doctor's appointment starting early???) The doctor explained what she was doing step by step and took the time (no eye-rolling) to answer all of my questions. She was good humored and extremely tolerant. The only problem was not her or the facility, but the US healthcare system. It was impossible to know the price of hearing aids until the doctors and the insurance companies duke it out. But I fear that will be the same anywhere you go. Don't let it stop you from finding out what you need.

One call, a young lady answered dthe phone and said they will call you ASAP. She said before the days end. I asked what time does your day end and she said at 5:00 pm. I said it's 4:57 right now so I guess they won't be calling me today. She said that is what I have written here to tell people. I thought how u professional that conversation was and I said ok I'll call back in the morning. I called and finally got to speak with Annie, the young lady at the front desk. I explained what I needed and told her about my needing a hearing aid as mine needed repairs and if the Adjuster agrees to the aid that is needed, then there is no sense in spending more money to do the repârs on this one. Annie agreed. Monday, June 17, I called the office to speak with Annie and she tells me that she left a message with the Adjuster, but she has not called me back. Approximately 10 minutes afterwards, I receive a call from another young lady telling me that they no longer do Workers" Compensation. I said I was there a month ago and no one said anything to me, as a matter of fact I get literature telling me that I'm dues for a new hearing aid. I said not that you left me high and dry, I'm without a hearing aid. Her response was that's the way it is. In the past months, I received letters asking me to come in for a check and check the. New technology that Starkey has (?Starkey Genesis AI). I am retired and pretty much can move my schedule to meet most appointments. On the other hand as we get older we loose family and friends and so I was not able to come in sooner. Dr, you should read your own literature and see how phony/unprofessional it must sound to you. Telling patients the importance of hearing and how it can change your life. How do you apply those words to me, knowing how difficult it is to get another audiologist that accepts Workers' Comp and get an early appointment. Your not a sales person selling shirts, your suppose to be a professiônal (doctor). Some people believe that if you're getting anything from Workers' Comp, your getting something for nothing -- is that what you think about me? Please remember that Workers' Comp is a paid insurance that my employers paid for Yes I'm very angry at the way this has been handled Richard Muzio
