Tech look into my ear and saw much wax. Sent me to ENT. ENT recovered huge wax from ear and tomorrow will return to Costco. Hearing Life never looked at wax. Thank goodness not fell for major scam. I returned to Hearing Life july1, after purchasing the oticon hearing aids in February 2025. I loved the hearing aids but had a couple issues; one ear the hearing aid seemed to tight, and i had difficulty getting it in. I was seen at the Thunderbird rd site in Glendale by Lisa Salinas. She was fantastic ,professional, pleasant, and very knowledgeable. She made changes that improved my hearing and hearing aid insertion 100%! I could not be more satisfied. I only want to see her! I put my hearing aids in for service in Babylon. They're only maybe two years old and as of now I have not received them that is 15 days later they say they're still being worked on. This is unacceptable as I have a hearing loss and have to deal with this daily. They said they'd be ready in four or five days. I am very disappointed read more

I was kind of skeptical if someone offerings free evaluation wouldn't lean towards the necessity of hearing aids. My mother and I were well received and after the test the Doctor gave us the results and my mom was doing fine and wouldn't need hearing aids at present and told us to return in 3 years. Very efficiently organized establishment and sterile environment with very caring genuine Front Desk reception La Tanya and patient well informed straight forward Dr.Krasnick. I hardly waited in reception and was given all the answers I needed and my problem solved immediately. My hearing aids were fixed and serviced and I was given a hearing test that was smoothly run all in what was I think around an hours time. They were able to squeeze me in the next day at a convenient time and I'm scheduled for follow up. After 20 years playing in a punkrock band, I figured it was time to check out hearing aids. I saw a facebook AD for Sutton and made an appointment. First step, the friendly and good-humored receptionist. Then, after the forms, Doc & I spent a long time on tests, including artificially created background noise, and bone conduction. Dr. Krasnick himself, is a jazz guitarist, and suffers tinnitus from the music... so he is naturally sympathetic. After the initial testing, we had a consultation, test aid trial, and frank discussion about pricing. (It ain't cheap.) There was no pressure to buy, just "keep in touch and call me when you're ready." I'm still going to shop around a bit before I decide, but in the meantime, I wanted to give Sutton and Dr. Krasnick the praise they deserve. read more

Professional and caring hearing specialists. First three times I saw them over a five year period they told me it would be best to monitor my hearing loss but not at level that I would need hearing aides. When in year 6 it became apparent I did need them what they reccomend were perfect. Took me no time at all to become accustomed to them. The fact that they are blue tooth enabled is an added bonus. Dr. Krasnick goes the extra mile, even figuring out how to more easily wear a mask during this pandemic along with my hearing aids which still feel new. The hearing aid fitting meeting with Dr. Krasnick included my husband and daughter (pre-covid) so that he could assess how well I was hearing the tones of their voices, such a good idea and more work for him. I went to Dr. Krasnick at Sutton Hearing for my chronic tinnitus (ringing in my ears). What a help! I was having trouble sleeping because of the ringing in my ears, and he was able to situate me with coping strategies and tools (he's very into tools!) to help me manage my problem. Dr. Krasnick was such a help to me that I took my father to him, who has very complicated hearing loss. Dr. Krasnick was so kind and pleasant with my father. He really cares about his patients and he asks you questions about your life so that he can really pair you with a solution that works for you. He's got a great attitude and is clearly very bright. My dad's hearing is drastically improved, and we'll continue to see Dr. Krasnick! read more

I visited Dr Krasnick this morning & was so impressed with his knowledge, professionalism & kindness. I was afraid that I might be losing my hearing and after the appropriate tests, Dr Krasnick assured me I was not. I did have an accumulation of wax in both ears & Dr Krasnick removed it painlessly. My doctor referred me to this place regarding a hearing test, waited 20 minutes to see the doctor with no other patients in the office, when the doctor administered the test there was a phone ringing constantly and I could hear it. I requested that the test be stopped but they just continued on.I was totally shocked when I received my evaluation and they said I needed a hearing aid-go figure-are you kidding me? He shares his view after examining the patient and explains everything in detail while being educational. Dr. Aaron Krasnick is an awesome audiologist. Caring and compassionate. What a difference. Deserves 10 stars. Dr. Krasnick went above and beyond. A friend gave me a coupon to Sutton Hearing and Balance for a free hearing test to try hearing aids. Since I have hearing aids that have been too uncomfortable to wear, I was curious to see if another brand would make a difference. The difference was Dr. Krasnick. I was well taken care of by the receptionist before I even arrived at the office. When I called from the subway in a panic because of delays, LaTonya's greeting on the phone set the tone. "With whom do I have the pleasure of speaking?" She suggested an alternative route, and greeted me with a huge smile when I finally arrived. Despite the fact that I was almost half an hour late, Dr. Krasnick still saw me. He did not rush me through and gave me quality time. He is extremely knowledgeable and I learned alot during the visit. He started by taking a look inside my ears with a scope that allowed me to see the image on the computer - a first for me despite many visits to ENTs and other audiologists. Dr. Krasnick is a great listener and quickly assessed the issues that I was having with my hearing aids. They had not been properly fitted. Instead of trying to sell me new ones, he corrected the fit of mine by changing parts and making adjustments. He also educated me about features they have that the audiologist who gave them to me never mentioned. What a difference. I am now able to tolerate wearing them which means I can hear! He also introduced me to several other gadgets, ie. a magnet for my phone, to help me make the best of the hearing loss that I have. I'm a sound engineer for a living, and protecting my hearing is quite literally protecting my income and future. I have been doing this for a long time, and in my career, I've needed audiologists to take dozens of molds of my ears for both high quality hearing protection, and specialized headphones called in ear monitors. This process requires someone to put a cotton baffle literally right next to your eardrum with an instrument before injecting the mold into your ear. I've always been nervous about having someone poke around me eardrums, and I've been hurt by an amateur before. This is the same process that you go through for hearing aids, or at least mostly the same. You want a professional doing this. In the case of IEMs and earplugs and extremely air tight and accurate mold is key to avoid a bad seal or occlusion. At the same time, you're having something pumped into your ear right up to your eardrum, and you need this done by a trustworthy professional, so you get the results you need, and don't get hurt. You need Dr. Krasnick. read more

I am a sign language interpreter, so I really need to be able to hear 100% for work. I also am more knowledgable about hearing aids, hearing loss and hearing in general than the average client. I have high expectations for an audiologist to take my needs seriously, treat me with respect, and not have a doom and gloom attitude about hearing loss. Dr. Aaron Krasnick is all of these and more. I have been displeased with several other audiology practices such as Musician's Hearing, Brooklyn College, etc. I am pleased to give him and his practice 5 stars, and if I could give it 6, I would, because he is also easy going, works quickly, and I walked out with a loaner hearing aid that worked better than any aid I have had the same day as my appointment. Finally, he is the first audiologist to simulate background noise during an aid fitting, using his iPhone. It's that easy, and yet, no one has offered me that option in the past, and if you wear an aid, you know that is exactly what you want, is an aid that has been adjusted to match speech in background noise. read more
