Well this shop was clean and I was greeted when I arrived. They used real ear measurements! I think that when approaching hearing aids it's important to educate yourself beyond reviews. Go to you tube and watch videos before making expensive decisions. HearUSA is at the top of the board when it comes to markup on aids. Overall the selection is limited and generally the process is a bit opaque. That shouldn't stop you just educate yourself. This store is probably the best in the general area. Saved $4,000 at this location! Appreciate the excellent customer service provided to my family member by the staff at this location. Ruben and Lindsey, the Providers, are professional and attentive. My family member's provider is Lindsey, and Lindsey is dedicated to serving her patients with the highest level of care and ensuring that procedures/protocols are carefully followed. I'd like to take a moment to appreciate Lindsey's efforts to reduce my family member's out-of-pocket copay for the hearing aid which was ultimately purchased. The hearing aid was $6,200, and after the insurance benefit was applied, the out-of-pocket copay was going to be $4,200. Lindsey mentioned that my family member should contact their insurance provider to see if a plan change could increase the benefit / reduce the out-of-pocket copay. After calling the insurance and hours of speaking with multiple individuals, who were all professional and courteous, such as Emily, Danielle, Jovi, and Alice, we were ultimately successful in changing the insurance plan, increasing the benefit to $6,000 and decreasing the out-of-pocket copay to only $200. This seemed like nothing short of a miracle, and but for Lindsey's advice/encouragement, my family member would not have been able to save $4,000. I have found them to be very accommodating and professional. I have severe allergies to some air freshening chemicals. The minute I walked in I knew I had a problem. I explained it to the person at the front desk and she put me in a room without the air freshener immediately. Mr. Reyes is super professional and answered all my questions. As far as the person who complained about mask wearing, I wear one all the time because I am immunocompromised. What is a cold for some people can put like rhino virus-that was a two week stay. The elderly are particularly susceptible to these viruses. The flu, even with a vaccine put me in the ICU so too bad. you don't want to wear a mask. As a medical professional you should surely understand when asked to wear a mask. It won't kill you but not wearing one could kill someone else. I appreciate that they are cognizant of the population they serve. read more

The front desk is absolutely perfect. Lubia made us feel comfortable and welcomed. Then there was Cynthia Rossignol, the Audiologist. She seemed annoyed and bothered. Was it the day, week, or hour? Her method was rushed and hurried. I felt customer service may not be her forte. Luckily, Judy saved the day. Her compassion, kindness, and through knowledge of hearing impairments, was mind blowing. I took my uncle to his hearing aid place. He's had a miserable time getting fitted with them. They can't get it right with my uncle's hearing aid. Today, October 10, 2022, approximately 3 years post COVID, when mask mandates have been lifted, I got kicked out of the darn place, for refusing to wear a mask, totally destroying my Constitutional rights and my Bill of Rights. Not only that, I have a bioscience degree and a doctorate degree in medicine and dental (oral surgery). I've never ever seen a 3 year bug. All the science behind it is made up. Why? Ask the politicians, not the doctors. The politicians will tell you why it's made up and a lot more. So! This place!? They can't get my uncle's hearing aids right and they practice science from the Middle Ages. Professionals they are not. Any self respecting doctor should know if you wear a mask, you are not protected. Besides, the eyes are the 3rd place where sinus and respiratory viruses can enter--Nose, mouth and EYES. The nasolacrimal duct is on the inside corner of each eye. It's the little exposed bump. Where is the science? Really seemingly nexistent. It's in Marina Del Rey. read more

I can't say enough good things about the staff here! They were welcoming and professional and made what was a challenging decision, easy. I recently learned I had moderate to severe hearing loss. I didn't know the first thing about hearing aids, besides what my grandparents wore. Cynthia the Audiologist was amazing and very thorough, she explained all the different devices for me and their functions. Judy helped me to get the device I needed so that my hearing would not continue to get worst. I am grateful to both of these ladies for all their help and expertise. My friend Charlie needed help with his hearing aids. Both went out and he could not get an appointment at the Veterans Administration to have them fixed. I made a few calls and found Hear USA in Marina Del Rey to be really great. We got an appointment within an hour and Judy fixed both hearing aids while she also took care of several other patients. Judy is super nice to work with at HearUSA Marina Del Rey. However, the Audiologist, Cynthia Rossignol, is not so nice to work with. We had a 1:00 p.m. appointment with her today, and she called at 12:33 p.m. to reschedule the appointment to 3:00 p.m. Because we were on the road, we did not get her message until we arrived at the office. Judy advised Cynthia that we were waiting for her, and she finally arrived at the office by 1:30. However, Cynthia never acknowledged the lateness of her call to reschedule . . . no apology . . . no nothing. That tells me Cynthia Rossignol has no integrity. And on what planet is it OK to call 27 minutes before an appointment to reschedule it? Sheesh! read more

This is our second time visiting. My husband suddenly lost all hearing in one ear and Cynthia, who was very helpful, fitted his with a device that transfers sound. I also got a device for my tinnitus. I beg to differ with other reviews, as we hesitated returning due to the surly receptionist. The new assistant, Nuvia, was overly helpful and seemed to understand how to work with seniors. She seems willing to learn and obviously likes her job. We felt this visit was 100% better than last and I spend decades in corporate sales and management, so understand how important people are. read more

My husband needed help with his hearing aids, a CVS nurse suggested HearUSA, and we ended up in Marina del Rey with Judy. She is compassionate, generous, respectful of her patients, highly competent, and incredibly efficient. I watched her manage the needs of 4 or 5 different clients with and without (like us) appointments. Everyone felt valued. We were in and out, with problems solved, in less than 20 minutes. This place is amazing. I never thought I would need their services, especially at my age (57), but due to complications with my sinuses, my ears were severely impacted and I suffered hearing loss. Thanks to Judy, the office manager, and Cynthia, the audiologist, this whole experience has been incredibly, smooth and far from demoralizing. And best yet, I can hear everything now. I forgot everything had a sound to it. I have ongoing sinus issues that continue to affect my ears and I have had to return to the office a few times due to my condition. I am grateful that Cynthia suggested a brand/style of hearing aid, that was easily repairable in their office should I have issues and I thanks to my sinuses, I have had a few issues but they were all quickly corrected. Each visit is always quick and my appointments have always been timely and on schedule. They are both extremely warm and welcoming and it has made the whole process so much easier for me.
