The guy is a superhero. This was my second surgery with the Dr. This one more complex with certain risks. My family was concerned. Get a second option they said. My response, why would I want another opinion when I already have Dr. Babaganian. For the second time my surgury worked out perfectly. Perfectly. My family can't understand how I could have major surgery without suffering. To tell you the truth, I am a little confused myself. But its true. Thank you Dr, I appreciate you so much.

He was so kind and comforting and extremely proficient in determining what the cause was and what treatment was needed. Recently, I had a very unique, hereditary type of ear infection that most doctors would not have seen nor treated before. Dr. Babajanian recognized the problem immediately and started treatment, then took me into emergency surgery within less than a day's notice. I am so grateful for his vast knowledge in this field of medicine, his compassion and consideration for the pain I was in, and the ease of communication he has with his patients. Thank you, Dr. Babajanian. I will always highly recommend you! P.S. You also have a very kind and friendly staff.

Along with her colleague, audiologist Dr. Rebecca Lewis, they make a fantastic team. In reading other reviews about some long wait times, because they work at a large HC institution with a robust patient base, sometimes you may need to wait a bit, but that's because she doesn't rush through appointments and is thorough in explaining your situation and answer your questions. She is compassionate, encouraging and gets to know her patients. I whole heartedly recommend her and the entire team.

I would not go to this doctor if I had raw meat and fire ants in my ears. Had an appointment. Drove 2 hours because our house burned down and was staying far away. My husband and 3 dogs drove with me, because our 2nd car burned down, too. I was on time, walked in and they told me that Voelker was at a conference. The check in woman said I was the 2nd person the scheduler told the wrong month to. Check in woman felt really bad and said she would talk to Voelker and see if she could move up the appointment and do a zoom since I already had tests done elsewhere and I was heading out of state at the end of the month because, again, our house burned down. The office is an absolute mess. Was called so many times about rescheduling - never spoke to the same person twice. After they said Voelker would do zoom, then a new person called me said she would not. Around and around I went. Ultimately, Voelker would NOT move up the appointment. Not a nice person. Cannot recommend with a white hot passion.

Instead of sucking it out, he put a long cylindrical instrument into both ears and jabbed it up and down. Both ears were then clogged. By Friday there was pain in my left ear that radiated up to my eye and down to my jaw, and I had a low grade fever. I called Dr. Ramirez's office, but they said he couldn't see me for 1 1/2 months. I told them I was in pain and sent the doctor a detailed e-mail. Eight days later he emailed me back: "I appreciate your communication. Based upon your history of Meniere's disease I ordered a new hearing test to determine if there are any changes to your symptoms." I told him to cancel any appointment he'd made and that I've had Meniere's in my left ear for 29 years; and it does not cause pain. Based on Dr. Ramirez's response and the fear that he might do further damage, I saw another doctor, who prescribed Prednisone for the ear and Azithromycin for the infection that the water draining caused. After a while the pain and the pressure lessened. My hearing in the left ear was a little better but the right ear had no change at all. I had CT scan for the doctor to have a better idea of what was going on. Her conclusion was that I would have the pain and pressure for the rest of my life. Although, in time, it would lessen in frequency and severity. As for the hearing loss, caused by the nerve damage, that is permanent. It is your choice if you want to see Dr. Ramirez. I will not be seeing him.
