HearUSA does an exceptional job of keeping my hearing aids operating at maximum efficiency. The staff is very helpful and goes well beyond the expectations as a service provider of high value. My Signia hearing aids went out of warranty this month, yet the staff helped me by dealing directly with Signia to obtain a new wall charger for my hearing aids. The staff is very helpful and professional and I highly recommend this company. My experience is not limited to HearUSA. When I first obtained hearing aids, it was from Costco Wholesale. I chose the Kirkland Signature model. I was never able to get these hearing aids to work properly. Each time I took them back to Costco, the technician would start to diagnose the problem, then would say.."well, I've spent 45 minutes and they're not quite adjusted, but if you come back in two weeks, we'll try again..." this went on for four months. I gave up, got a refund, and went directly to HearUSA. read more

I was talked into their Signia brand hearing aids and they have turned out to be a horrible set of hearing aids. I have two older aids from Costco that work much better. I wasted my money here. All they want to do is talk you into their product that they are getting SPIF money from. read more

Trusting the expert's words, I paid for the headphones without hesitation, but he never mentioned that even with the most expensive ones, buyers were experiencing the same problem with the television. Voices sound distorted, as well as a multitude of birds chirping simultaneously. When I complained by phone, a man told me about it and offered me an accessory--the price of which he didn't mention--that would solve the problem. I took my 90 year old mother to have her hearing aids checked. She claimed that they weren't working and she was having trouble hearing. When we arrived for our appointment, Tino immediately walked over to help us. Tino was so caring and professional with my mom. He looked at the hearing aids and determined that they had ear wax in the filters, which made them not able to pick up sounds. He cleaned them and then looked in my mom's ears. They also needed to be cleaned. He told me to go to her doctor and get them flushed because it will be no time and my mom would not be able to hear again. I took my mom to have her ears flushed and brought her back to see Tino today. He cleaned her hearing aids and she could hear again! She was so happy. Tino is a great asset to HearUSA. He went above and beyond in helping my mom. Actually all of the workers there are helpful, nice and professional. I would highly recommend HearUSA in Lake Forest. They were most helpful resolving the issue with my hearing aid. They sent my hearing aid off for repair and it arrived back in only three days. It was like new. The personnel in this store was particularly patient unlike the other two HearUSA stores I visited. It was worthwhile the extra miles I had to drive to get to this store. I have been a customer/patient at HearUSA in Lake Forest CA for about 12 years. I have purchased five sets of hearing aids from them during that period. I have worked with various staff and clinicians and all of them have been superb. I have been under the care of Jared Schindel, LHAD for some time. He is the best! Always friendly, professional and exceptionally competent. As a physician I think I'm in a good position to determine this. This office has always had excellent customer service. The front desk is always welcoming and organized. Currently, I appreciate their full COVID precautions. Calls are answered promptly, appointments are always made in a timely fashion, and they have worked hard to fit me in on short notice for the occasional hearing aid failure or if I needed adjustments. They have always worked with my insurer (Kaiser Permanente) to clearly confirm benefits and payment. Wearing hearing aids can be a challenge at first. Getting use to them and getting the most out of these devices requires a supportive and knowledgeable team. Trust me when I say that if you are hesitant to take this step, do not be. Admitting that I needed hearing aids at a relatively young age and moving forward with getting them truly enhanced the quality of my life. This is a rave review for the Lake Forest store of HearUSA. My mother's hearing aids failed in early April 2020, in the midst of the covid-19 lockdown. All the stores were closed, so she tried sending them to a repair facility, but somehow the people at that address couldn't deal with them, and sent them back to her. Some HearUSA stores started opening in late May, and I tried calling the one nearest her. I got no human on the phone, and no one returned my messages. Finally, on June 2, I was able to call the Lake Forest store, immediately reached Jennifer, and explained the situation. We got an appointment about a week later. When they couldn't make them work locally, they sent them off for repair. As estimated, they came back in 2 weeks, and worked fine. Meanwhile, my mother wanted to get a duplicate pair. Jennifer got me in touch with Scott, the provider at the Lake Forest store, and he offered 2 pricing options, called the insurance company to confirm coverage, called the manufacturer to make sure they still had the specifications for her ear shapes, and ordered the 2nd pair. They also arrived within the order's 2 week estimate, Scott programmed them according to the prior prescription, and they worked great when we got them home. This location was willing, nimble, responsive, and using safe health practices. Jennifer was even able to give me an estimate for when my mother's local store would be opening (sometime the next month). All around, a great experience in difficult times. THANK YOU! read more

I am not a local customer to HearUSA, Lake Forest CA, but they exceeded all my expectations and in fact provided me much better services than the local hearing audiologists whom I have worked with previously. The receptionists at HearUSA, Lake Forest CA, have always been unfailingly professional, helpful, and pleasant to talk with. Scott is an exceptional audiologist. He is extremely knowledgeable and helpful with my complex hearing issues. Scott picked for me a new set of hearing aids that totally blew my old set of hearing aids out of the water as well as easily beat another set of aids that I recently bought from another vendor for evaluation and comparison. I returned the other set well within their returning period and kept Scott's pick. It is not easy to find someone as knowledgeable as Scott in this field. There were a lot of aftersale follow-ups and fine-tunings with the settings that Scott did for me in order to optimize my hearing experience with the new set of aids. In the end the results are well worth the efforts. I love my new hearing aids and will stay working with HearUSA, Lake Forest CA, for my hearing aids needs in the future. I made an appointment for my dad two weeks ago at this facility because his insurance company referred us. I called yesterday to confirm our appointment for today and Jennifer answered and stated that she doesn't think my dad's insurance was accepted there. She kept insisting that I call his insurance company again. I could be wrong, but I was under the impression that she should have known whether or not his insurance was accepted. Regardless, I decided to cancel the appointment. The first impression was horrible and if I was treated that way over the phone, there was no way I was going to let any of her associates treat my dad. It's unfortunate that the person on the phone can leave such a horrible impression that will steer away potential clients. read more

Very unfortunate multiple encounters. Do not recommend to anyone who can choose elsewhere with their insurance. For those without insurance, stay away from this place. Front help was fine, the doctors not so good. Basically, their customer service was terrible. How they treat their clients was pathetic, and unfortunate for someone practicing in this industry. Insurance companies need to hear of these problems so they can choose wisely who to use. Especially for the elderly. read more
