I was panicking about finding someone to relieve my pain before embarking on a physically challenging vacation in a few days. Richelle was enormously knowledgeable. She was patient and focused as she methodically massaged to the heart of my discomfort. She clearly has an understanding of human anatomy and the interconnection of each muscle. I get so frustrated with the new-agey vibe that often accompanies massage clinics. It's just not my thing but if I want a massage I have to muscle through the hippy dippy stuff. Richelle was refreshingly clinical and she got right to work. 90 minutes later I could hardly feel the pain that brought me to Richelle in the first place. I was desperate to get some relief or I would not have gone to a random massage parlor. I figured that even a mediocre and over priced massage would be better than the shooting pain. So I used the yelp search functionality for places that would be able to get me in after seven pm. May had positive reviews and I called. How fortunate that she could get me in! Even though it was late Saturday evening she took her time with me. It was an excellent massage and experience. I felt that she really cared about my pain and getting me relief. She tried a few techniques that I have not had before including cupping. Beware, this will leave ugly marks on your skin for a week. She gave a few exercises to try to help loosen the tight muscles for after care. I did experience relief! I would definitely recommend May! She was concerned, dedicated and capable. It was reasonably priced as well. I've visited my chiropractor a few times since and he was surprised that as bad as I was, I said I had been worse over the weekend.
