The Paw is a great place to take your dog for grooming. I appreciate the dog safety/separation…read moresystem that they have in place. The front desk staff is friendly. Hannah is excellent with my dorky dog. It is always a great experience!

I got tied up at work and wasn't able to make it for the 4 PM pick up when they close... On my way there, I tried calling them and a answering service picked up and then the answering service said nobody was answering the phone at the facility and They left a message. Why pay for an answering service when you are paying staff to be there..24/7 when got there I knocked on the door and a gal behind the desk, ducked down and tried to hide from me....?!!I thought this was very childish and unprofessional.. Why would you pay staff to sit there and not handle a customer concern? I knocked very loudly and aggressively, and she finally came up to the door and would talk to me through the door. I was concerned because I did not leave enough food for him for another day. She refused to give me my dog and threatened to call the cops.. She said I was making her feel unsafe... Which found rather offensive and wonder what kind world we now live in...Granted I was yelling because she wouldn't open the door so had to talk through double pane glass.. Suggestion .... I understand you're looking for a certain level of operationally efficiency with scheduled pick ups and drop offs But if you're going pay someone to stay at the facility then perhaps train them to process a payment and simply charge a late pick up fee... someone did call me and took a payment on the phone and said I could come back at 8 PM to pick up my Baby Boy... Dogz & Katz Luxury Pet Boarding

After touring a bunch of boarding facilities we chose to bring our dog to Dogz & Katz. Since our…read moredog is still young we are starting to bring her for a day here and there as a test run. The first stay was great. Carmen took great care of our dog and our dog was happy during her stay. Carmen (owner) keeps you up to date with posts on social media (if you allow the posts of course). The facilities are over the top! Super Clean! Your dog will get a room (yes an actual room) with a view a hammock bed, with bedding and the option to have a kennel/crate if needed. Your pups will not be in a cold chain link kennel like other boarding facilities. Our dog had a great time and received the loving care we were looking for when boarding our dog. Lots of love and room to roam indoors and outdoors. Which of course meant plenty of exercise for our dog. I would highly recommend Dogz & Katz for anyone looking to board their dog (or cat).

The doghouse is ventilated and has UV light irradiation for return air to assist with germicidal protection. Dogs are let out several times a day for 30 minutes of exercise and play. Cats have rooms that are 6' x 8' with a window and outside bird feeder, a cat tree for lounging, climbing and scratching and lots of individualized attention. There is an Executive Suite that is 11' x 12' too!

I am extremely saddened to tell you all that our 6 year old, healthy miniature Australian Shepherd…read moredied in the care of Countryside Animal Hospital and Kennels on Saturday, 8/19/18. She had been there less than 24 hours when they called to tell me they found her dead in an outside lot. The vet suggested that perhaps she had an undiagnosed condition, but if that were the case, he is the one who missed it because he was her vet from the time she was a puppy and she was seen by him regularly. She had never had any serious health concerns. Our dog was athletic and played in our yard every day. When I went to pick up my dog's belongings, I asked to see the place where she died and was shown a dirt lot about 10' x 10' with no shade. I was there at the same time of day when I was told my dog died. There was a large dog turned out in that lot when it was shown to me and he had no water. The bucket, which I presume had been filled with water for the dog, was fairly small for a large dog and probably too tall for a small dog to reach. It was narrow at the bottom and wide at the top and had been knocked over. I saw no evidence of a water stain on the dirt, so can only assume that poor dog had been without water on a hot summer day in full sun for quite a while. I asked the attendant repeatedly to please give the dog some water, but she did not do so while I was there. After seeing the conditions under which dogs are kept at this kennel, I can only conclude that my dog probably died of heatstroke from sun exposure and lack of water. I was also told no one attempted CPR on my dog. I used this kennel because it is run by an animal hospital whom I formerly used as my veterinarian, though I obviously will not be using them going forward. I trusted that they would take good care of my dog while I was away. I had never thought to ask to tour the facility because I assumed -- now I know wrongly -- that they would provide excellent, quality care. When you arrive at the kennel, you can see the nice, large fenced lots that have grass and trees off to the left and that is where I assumed my dog spent her time outside. What you don't see is the small, dirt un-shaded lots they have in the back. If I had known those existed, I never would have left my dog in their care. If you use this kennel, I recommend that you stop immediately. I met with the vet and the kennel manager to advocate for several changes including automatic dog watering dishes that are fixed in place and shade tarps for outside lots with no trees that get full sun. Whether they will implement the changes to avoid having this tragedy happen again, I don't know. Our family is devastated at the loss of our beloved dog. We don't want our precious girl to have died in vain, so I wanted to get the word out to the community in hopes that this does not happen again. I know now that I should tour a place before trusting that the facilities are safe and meet the minimum standard for access to shade and water and I recommend that you do the same.
