I chose them because of their proximity to my home in Ukiah. Besides the usual chairs, tables, lamps, bed, I had a priceless painting from a renowned Chinese painter, an irreplaceable solid oak Mission style rocking chair, a huge one piece maple china cabinet and our heirloom family small rocking chair. Each was enormously wrapped and protected and YES Gentle Hands moved these without any damage of any kind! Unpacking the multiple boxes of books, household items, clothes, and memorabilia, I continued to be amazed that nothing was broken or torn! I cannot praise Al and his employees enough for their accurate estimate, fair moving price, and efficient delivery of all my earthly possessions safely and promptly.

I appreciated Jason's communication and patience in the estimating phase. He provided an estimate promptly, answered all my questions in a timely manner (I had a lot and realized later most of the answers I needed were in his FAQ, thanks for being patient with me ), and was flexible when I needed to change the date last minute. I had reached out to several different moving companies and would say Jason was the most affordable option. On move-in day he and his team arrived on-time and got to work immediately. Since we were previously living with roommates our stuff was scattered between a few different rooms of the house. I was worried that would be confusing but they were on top of it! Some of our stuff was not packed well (including some delicate items) but they brought some gear and moved it with no issues. Upon unpacking we were impressed that not a single thing was broken! They also did a great job with our large TV. 10/10 would recommend.

I solicited multiple quotes, and off the top of my head I know they came in at half the price of Fresh Start Movers (PS stay away from them lol! They were horrible and so overpriced). White glove quality with Mentor Movers though (And I am picky lol!) The crew was professional, efficient, and handled everything with care. No dragging things out, no hidden surprises, no attitude--just solid, high-quality work from start to finish. They made what is usually a stressful process feel smooth and under control. What really stood out was how organized and quick they were without being careless. They protected my furniture, worked as a tight team, and got everything done faster than I expected. Fast Masters called me in advance of their arrival to let me know they were picking up a few items for the morning's move and that they'd arrive about 30 minutes after the scheduled time, which was well within tolerances. The crew of four meant they worked efficiently. I was really impressed with how each member of the team worked to support the crew as a whole and cooperated. They kept track of all the parts and tools and remembered my concerns about the player piano, making sure to protect that area throughout the move. Seeing as my baby grand had to make it down a long set of stairs, I'm glad I had this team on the job! They attended to details like ensuring my daughter's electric bike was brought back upstairs, since it'd been moved out of the way and putting the screen door back on its hinges. Nothing was damaged and they kept me informed when they made a stop in transit. I'd readily recommend using them for future work!

I therefore felt confident to again call up Julie and ask her to send a team to move the same Furniture minus some very large pieces to our new home. What a nightmare, The team arrived and immediately tried to turn it into it two day move. When we declined, they became frustrated and things proceeded downhill. I could write 10,000 words and not describe it accurately. The three person team arrived without water, hours late, did not seem like they were feeling well as three of them used our bathroom For extended periods of time, if you know what I mean! They built a cardboard ramp to move our furniture and boxes down a staircase-despite our protests (we were on a very tight schedule and felt desperate ) this destroyed furniture and boxes, literally ripped the bars off of wardrobe boxes, all in the exact same way. Left half of our furniture and goods behind, this we have learned are called hostage loads, to force the second day move and despite a contract tried to charge us Twice the estimate! Owner promised to repair and replace Furniture late that night, as I protested and shared the extreme damage and the fact that half of our belongings were left behind . They did not follow through. Julie gaslight and attacked me! She has sent harassing text messages @10pm, as I've used the proper authorities to try to address this after her failing to respond or live up to her responsibilities I will post a screenshot of her response to me which -"was it was all damaged already, My team did nothing" We live in a pet and child free home and all of this furniture was purchased with pride when our children were in college and was damage free. She of course, does not have proof that any of these items were damaged We have video and photos of items before the move and proof of sending her videos and photos in the early a.m. as this move dragged to the 2 AM hour at which time her workers were revving their truck engine in our small residential neighborhood, In a threatening manner.
