I used Hansen moving for my short move within Santa Rosa. They arrived on time and were careful with my belongings. They carefully took apart my bed frame and wrapped the pieces up in cloth. They were also careful to point out damage prior and ensure I was aware before they packed up any items. Movers were quick completing the move in less than four hours. They ended up adding a person when we got to the next house to make the move faster. I was informed prior and agreed before the person was added since there was additional cost. All my furniture was put back together without any issues. Would use Hansen again for future moves. read more

Communication with Greg in the office to arrange the move was very easy - I found them to be very flexible when I had to change the date. I had hired a large "carrier" company for an out-of-state move, which ended up brokering the move out to a random guy in a rental truck and a drunk support worker from Craigslist. I had to fire this crew the DAY BEFORE I had to be out of my home that was now sold. Divine intervention brought me to Greg and his team at Hansen's. WOW! What a team of professionals here! I called several companies to get quotes and information and when I spoke with Greg at Hansen's I knew he was the best. We did a move to storage nearby ( in SoCo) to put our home on the market in November 2021. I asked the foreman to please put on a mask as I do not know the vax status of 3-4 strangers in my house. He crumbled and was a jerk and petulant toddler the entire move. He is apparently an infectious disease expert as well as a mover (this was pre-boosters). He didn't wrap items as requested, dropped an armoire gashing my hardwood floors. This was the lowest quality move I have ever experienced. They only deserve one star because one of the junior movers was trying to make up for the lackluster job. I have one step into my house and they moved to a medium-sized storage locker - not exactly a tough move stair-wise. Complained the entire move. Terrible company - look somewhere else. read more

Greg and his family and employees are great! Greg came a few weeks before our move and gave us an estimate that we thought was very reasonable. We packed all our own boxes and moved them into our garage. They moved our 3 bed / 2 bath house about 2 hours south. They arrived at 7am, loaded all our boxes, furniture, and other misc. belongings and were done moving everything into our new house by around 2pm. They took very good care of all our belongings and took the time to set up all our furniture exactly how we wanted it in our new house. Over the past 15 Years, my husband and I have used Hansen's Moving & Storage 8 times. There has been a variety of services they have provided to us. They have moved us from different homes, moved a piano, and recently they moved furniture into our garage for storage while flooring was changed in our home. When the flooring job was completed and Hansen's returned to move the furniture back into our home, the movers volunteered to place felt pads on all of the furniture before bringing it back into our home. I found Hansen's about a year ago when I had to move unexpectedly. Greg was so courteous, and literally showed up for my estimate within a few hours of initially calling them! I had a very tight time line, which he totally made work! The movers showed up right on time, loaded my gear, and were all business's personality! The efficiency and just generally nice disposition of the team was awesome, and made me feel very at ease. (Moving is just so stressful!!) Additionally, the pricing was very reasonable, compared to some of the other very high quotes I was getting. I have recommended Hansen's to a co-worker who moved last summer, and he had the same experience!! I just gave Hansen's contact info to another co-worker who is moving. We debated about whether or not to hire a professional mover for our 100-mile move......and now that it is done I am SO glad we chose to not only hire movers, but Hansen's moving in particular. Not only were they affordable, but they arrived during the estimated 1 hour time we were given, and Bob and Andres worked so quickly and efficiently it was amazing! They were also very polite and respectful. I had to ask Andres to move the dresser out of our baby's room (I was putting her down for a nap) and he immediately did that for me, when I thought he'd finish what he was working on first. They navigated the furniture through the stairs & turns at our house and the apartment very well, and got the couch through a doorway we feared may be impossible to get through. He said the stairs was difficult to move furniture up. I have no control how the stairs was made. He try to charge 500.00 dollars more. I say No then ask me meet him haft way.
