The nurse can also give you vaccinations. They are linked to St. Michael's Hospital. If you have to visit the hospital, the clinic automatically gets results over their computer system. This is a family unit clinic, where your file is shared between the doctor's at the clinic, so any of them can see you under an emergency situation and your doctor is not available. There is a bloodwork clinic in there too. There are social workers covered by OHIP to help you with things like stress. There are dietitians civered by OHIP to help you with nutrition. They also run drop-in clinics after-hours. There is a TV in their waiting room. Starting late 2018, they started allowing email communications. As of Mar 2019, they have expanded into what was Appletree Medical Centre providing them with more rooms for the non-doctor offices. Sometime around 2024, you can book a non-urgent appointment with your doctor, but expect to be booked 3-5 weeks in the future. I've been through ups and downs with this clinic. The family doctor (Dr. Lee Schofield) I had since 2012 started getting worse in customer service after 2018. It got to the point where he was very late and then didn't even show up for appointments! He eventually left the clinic. With bad news came good news. All his patients got transfered to a new doctor, Dr. Margaret Hess. She is beyond excellent! She even won awards during her residency. She will even call you during the weekend to discuss results with you! After the pandemic, when you called, you usually have to wait over 1 hour to speak with someone. Around 2024, the wait time reduced to 5-10 mins. There is a way for a doctor to request info from you over a secure communications channel. There is free WiFi. The clinic is wheelchair accessible. There is one gender-neutral washroom which is also wheelchair accessible. There is paid and free neighbourhood street parking. Review 2025-147

I believe Lauren Massey is her name, and she acts like the Gestapo. I intend to take them to court.

They cancelation period is typically 24 hours prior. There is a receptionist who can handle appointments too. Service by every practitioner I've used and every receptionist is excellent. My initial…read moresession was scheduled via their website that sent me a reminder for the date and time; easy peasy lemon squeezy considering a good number of us are glued to our smartphones daily. I arrived at my session a little bit early and from a first glance, the clinic was clean and bright. The receptionist was friendly and greeted me promptly. Dan met with me to discuss what my goals are, asked me to stand straight, do a few basic exercises like squatting down, balancing on each leg and touching my toes. He then examined my posture, and we came to an agreement that I wouldn't need more sessions beyond 2. He was happy to show me the homework exercises in their mini gym and correct/modify anything you may be doing incorrectly. Dan was so eager to send me my homework that I received it in my inbox 5 minutes after leaving the building. He is an absolute gem in the neighbourhood. While there may not be heaps of reviews on Yelp about BP Physiotherapy, the clinic does have rave Google reviews! They have fair prices and accept insurance. No Amex unfortunately :(

Dr. Barb Smith is the doctor at this establishment. I've been coming here on and off for over 8 years and have been thoroughly satisfied with their services. The office is open concept and the atmosphere natural and friendly. Leslie is usually the attendant you meet upon arrival and she's a real treat as well. Dr. Barb will tailor the service to your specific needs. For instance, I prefer not to have manual neck manipulations, so she uses activator only in that area. Dr. Barb also monitors my knees and ankles for wear & tear from my active joint-cracking lifestyle. She's also got a wealth of knowledge in homeopathic products and nutrition, so don't hesitate to seek her expertise on those fronts if you employ her service. Regular treatments are $40, so hence the three-star review, however I think that may be close to the current industry standard.

They can submit expenses directly to your health insurance but you still have to pay them first. My son has since had 2 teeth pulled it. The first time, they used a needle and he became scared of needles for the next 2 years. He finally got over it. In 2925, they used laughing guess that that worked well with him.
