However, the Phonak brand hearing aids they furnished seem to have never been optimized for my needs, so I wear them only for special situations. Modern Hearing Solutions recommends the same hearing aids and they performed an initial 1 hour consultation, ear cleaning, audiology test and re-programming of the hearing aids at no cost - WOW! And yes, Dr. Nicole Smith, Au.D was wonderful to work with, exceptionally thorough in her exam and detail oriented. She is also compassionate and has a fun personality. Great alternative to VA care for those of us who need a more thorough analysis and solution. Easy office experience with Alexis was also top-notch. Highly recommended!

He didn't order any pre surgery bloodwork or updated ultrasound so he was planning on doing surgery based on my last ultrasound that was over a year old. When I spoke to the scheduler she asked what day I wanted to come back to get the drain removed from my neck. Dr. Smith mentioned nothing about a drain. I was completely lost. When I spoke to the clinic director she didn't want to hear me out and defended Dr.Smith not explaining the procedure with since the scheduler did it was ok. WORST DOCTORS OFFICE IVE EVER BEEN TO. Please don't waste ur money on this unsafe doctors office for yourself or your loved ones

I GUESS WHEN DR. JENRETTE RETIRED RECENTLY THE CARING FOR PATIENTS WENT OUT THE DOOR WITH HER!! I had an issue which resulted in me missing an appt. (& only ever did so before 6 months prior for a blood draw that I forgot about). Then I come home to find four letters in my mail telling me that I will have to find a new doctor!!!! (What if I were in an accident, sick, or dying in the hospital -- you never even bothered to ask) To top it off, today, I called Pioneer Physicians to make sure a bill that was never sent to my insurance was taken care of. And, I found out the doctor's office specifically told Pioneer to send my account to collections!!! No notice -- no nothing. And I've never failed to pay one single dime to them. This is an absolutely TERRIBLE way to treat anyone, let alone a great patient who has been with NC Family Physicians for so many years. When you no longer care about the individuals, you will lose more than just me, just give it time. I'm thankful that you told me not to come back -- I appreciate you showing your true colors. With doctors who treat patients this way, you couldn't pay me to come back. NOW THAT DR. JENRETTE IS GONE -- I WOULD DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMEND GOING HERE. It's a shame that they are destroying the business that Dr. Jenrette built.

I can get in now when I'm sick, the staff is on top of things, it has been a breeze coming back here as an adult. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a new PCP. Office has just been updated as well, check it out!
