I came in with wax build up in my left ear (had issues since a kid) and he not only fixed it he explained fully what was CAUSING this issue. He listens and he caters the medical advice based on the specific patient needs. I also want to commend Melissa for her due diligence in cleaning my ears in a prior visit. As per billing I feel that pricing is high. Just be sure to ask upfront what all costs are (ex: there is a new patient fee). The staff is friendly in the front reception area and will answer any questions you have. I came here since my usual Provider (Kaiser) was not available until much later.

Or just me not reacting in time when exposed to places with speakers playing really loud music? These people are the exclusive specialists you should see if you have concerns with tinnitus of any kind. They will pull all of the important hearing tests and properly educate you about tinnitus so you won't believe stuff you see online. I now carry around ear plugs attached to my keys everywhere I go. I may not be able to control random loud sounds outside but I can control how I react. By putting on ear plugs the instant I know loud noises are coming, and living cautiously by not going to places where I know the noise/music is loud.

I have well not good hearing, but not terrible either…read more I use the aids when going out to hear conversations in restaurants and other venues, I now can go out to dinner at a dinner with a show venue I can hear my friends. These hearing aids are by far the best ones in terms of sound quality and background noise reduction. I like the different volume levels for different situations. Plus, they are amazingly comfortable. After a bit, I do not even notice them. Worth the investment for me. The small portable case also acts as charging base and it also helps carry and store the pieces safely, but the top comes off too easily and needs a small redesign to provide a latch to ensure the case does not open by mistake. They are tiny, discreet, and comfortable. Best of all, they are effective. I had doubts when I first received them and spent time talking to support staff to find out what I was doing wrong and better ways to work with the aids, the staff was incredibly supportive and helped me to achieve my desired hearing levels. My left ear has a large canal that with the large petals works great, my right ear has a small canal, and the medium petals are still a bit too large and could use a smaller petal I believe. The iPhone application is easy to use, but I wished it gave status information, like battery levels, and other status items.

I made an appointment to have it looked at and they did nothing to really troubleshoot the issue and tried to feed me some BS about aging electronics and stated the manufacture probably wouldn't service it. Then started pushing me to buy a new set when I stated I was here to have my device serviced they then asked if my insurance had a benefit that could be applied to my purchase of new devices. When I told them I was walking out and why they said nothing. After leaving my hearing in a dehumidifier for an extended period it seems to be working fine again. Caveat emptor! (Buyer beware!)

I've had the pleasure of working with Kassie, Danyel and Jana. I have never been to a friendlier office that is more dedicated to serving its patients. 4 Rachel is thorough and takes whatever time is necessary to conduct hearing tests and to fit hearing aids as perfectly as possible. This may take 25-50% longer than other audiologists who think 80-20 is good enough. And she does it at no additional charge. 5 Rachel is deeply knowledgeable. She stays current with new technology and the characteristics of hearing aids from different manufacturers so she can make a recommendation that will suit your unique needs. 6 Rachel makes it fun to come to her office. 7 Rachel will answer all of your questions, whether obvious or esoteric, fully and with respect. 8 If you have a question between visits, the staff will provide the answer immediately by phone, and if necessary, will send additional materials electronically. 9 I also consulted with Dr Brook Raguskus in the Pacific Hearing office who is a specialist in tinnitus. I couldn't hear out of my left ear. It was horrible! So that night I searched on yelp and found the most amazing hearing clinic. I called the next morning right when they opened and the receptionist was the nicest person and got me an appointment the very same day. Dr. Ashley was the doctor that took care of me. She's absolutely amazing. She was very thorough and explained to me everything she was doing. She definitely spent over an hour with me irrigating both my ears and micro suction. I'm so happy she was able to get all that compacted wax out of both my ears. I can hear again!! I'll definitely be back to have my ears cleaned on a regular basis.
