Disclaimer - I do know Dr. Kun personally however I am picky about my healthcare providers & have paid for my service. Recently I woke up with sudden hearing loss in one ear & I was so confused as it has never happened before. After some light research, I reached out to Dr. Kun as I knew she is an audiologist, I learned one should definitely get it checked within 72 hours or the risk is permanent hearing damage / loss. Dr. Kun was able to see me same day (thankfully) due to the urgency and performed a hearing test and confirmed my diagnosis of sudden hearing loss in that ear, and also checked it wasn't being blocked by maybe wax or something else. She referred me to another hearing doctor to get prescribed medication + a second opinion, which I did, and she prepared and provided a report for the doctor. Thankfully my hearing did back to normal & she followed up and confirmed with a follow up hearing test. I'm thankful for the quality of care & professionalism, and thankfully they do take my insurance so I had a small copay only. If you have any hearing concerns, I highly recommend Kun hearing!

I cannot say enough about Kelly Williams the Audiologist . She was very helpful in assessing my needs and scheduling follow up visits to make adjustments to my hearing aids. So after my healthcare insurance paid for my hearing test they refused to pay for the hearing aids that the test recommended....what? I was told that for good hearing aids it was going to run north of $5,000.00 I passed after she told me I could get one for my worst ear for $2,700.00 So I went to Costco. Fernando was excellent. No muss, no fuss, just professional and essentially duplicated the test results from a month earlier and set me up with top of the line hearing aids from Phillips for $1,600.00 for the pair! I love them! I can hear almost everything now. Especially other people saying "What?" "Come again." "What was that?" That used to be me! These are great. Customized for my particular deficit. It amplifies the frequencies I have trouble with and leaves the others alone. They are rechargeable, super light weight, nearly invisable and I don't care. People put things on their faces to see better all the time. So glad I did this.

After all that, they said they would apply to get authorization. They never contacted us. Every time we called, they could not find the paperwork, it was pending, etc. It was getting ridiculous after 6 months. Finally wen to another company and mom got her head aid in two weeks. Don't go to this place. They had no idea what they were doing. They may seem friendly, but what good is it?

I think this retail center is good if you have mild loss, but probably not for higher loss than that. Each technician will hold the h aid up to their ear. When you get a great technician, worth it if you can book again with them. But I've had issues with understanding people speaking for over a year and technicians can't fix it. Streaming and zoom calls are good but not great. I went for a consult elsewhere and found out if you can hear streaming or calls but not people unless they are in front of you two feet away- it's a microphone issue. I'll make an appointment at Miracle Ear since my h aids are still under warranty and let them know what I need fixed. I'll follow up on the review with the results

Still didn't work, wait another 3 weeks, etc. I continually complained they didn't work but was never offered an alternative brand of hearing aid to try. After 4 months of exasperation they told me it's too late to exchange them. 60 day return policy. There's no way to evaluate them that fast if you have to wait 3 weeks between each appointment. $2,000 down the drain. Costco gives you 6 months. Wish I would have gone there for same price as my "discount from insurance" aids from Epic.

They first attempted to clean them but it still wouldn't work. They had to repair the unit but as you could imagine how hard it is not to hear. She had to wait a few days to get the unit back and made an appointment to pick it up in the morning. When she arrived they thought it was to clean the hearing aid based on notes. She explained that she was picking up the hearing aid but it wasn't ready and hadn't even arrived. She was told maybe by midday but they weren't sure and to try later in the afternoon instead. We had to call before going back a second time just to make sure we weren't wasting our time and they were still not confirming it being ready. 5/5 Parking it's a huge parking lot but with limited spots right up front. Every time I go there for problems with my hearing Aids, they do not address the problem and brush me off with excuses for my problems with my hearing Aids. My original hearing test took only 5 minutes and the audiologist just told me "Yes, your hearing is bad." Then proceeded to assign me to any hearing aid and not address in my hearing needs.
