Wow! Hear No Evil Studio--Awesome find!! I'm doing a recording project with my nieces who have never been in a recording studio before...Elliot was a perfect find for this project! He was so patient with us and our recording studio learning curve! My nieces had a BLAST! He first had them record "Beatles" style-- facing each other and taught them how to control their mics and headsets. Then he had them record one at a time in the booth, which made them a bit nervous at first, but once they got the hang of it, loved! While they were recording one at a time, he taught the others some of the recording equipment tools and techniques. He let my youngest niece even sit in the command chair and start and stop the recordings, change our listening choices--all voice, voice and music, etc. This turned out to be a fun project and such an AWESOME experience for my nieces! Elliot is a guy that really pushes you to get the best out of your performances, and does his best to take your audio to a new level on top of that. No matter what I've seen him do, it never sounds not like you. He prefers to get everything the right way, even if it's the hard way. The atmosphere is great and comfortable with a lot of visually striking art on the walls. This is an amazing place to record music videos as well, he has a whole set up for lights ready to go. It has a small studio kitchen for longer sessions, and a work station in the back to tweak equipment to make sure it's in prime condition to record. I've been in and out of the place regularly and I've seen him record everything from more mainstream pop and rap music to doom and drone noise metal. I was very impressed from the first time I visited the studio and viewed all of the recording and editing equipment, as well as the numerous instruments and accessories that are available to the musicians during recording sessions. Even more so, I could tell right way that a great deal of thought and care went into creating an atmosphere that was very welcoming and comfortable for the artists.
