My dad had a 3 hour tinnitus evaluation, which is very thorough. She recommended a variety of things including hearing aids and I was able to accompany my dad to the fitting which was also extremely thorough. She spent about an hour with my dad and really took the time to make sure he was happy. We never felt like she was trying to rush us out of the office, which is pretty rare to find these days. My mother, age 82, was directed here by her insurance company (formerly called Medica), and we are so grateful to have found this place. Jorge is so patient and loving with older people. My mom had her first hearing test with Jorge in 2019, but by 2021 her hearing had deteriorated and Jorge patiently showed us the two tests side by side and recommended hearing aids for her that were easy for her to use and most importantly not too loud for the first time hearing aid wearer. He Bluetooth paired the hearing aids to an app he installed in her iPhone and has been a wonderful support throughout the past year as my mom needed a few things such as new silicone tips and her hearing aids to be cleaned. During our appointment today, Jorge let us know that my mom's hearing aids were still under warranty and offered to get her a replacement pair since we've had a few issues with them not charging. A replacement pair will be here in a week, thankfully. While we were there, Jorge gave my mom a new hearing test and determined that her hearing was the same as in 2021 when we were last in the office. I very much value his customer service and attention to detail. I highly recommend Hear USA on Coral Way and especially Jorge who is a kind man to families and to the elderly. I visited with him a week ago to determine my need for hearing aids and, if indicated, to discuss the various products available and their cost. After agreeing that I was a candidate for hearing aids he said he would check with my insurance company to see what coverage was available to me and we would meet again to discuss the cost. When I visited his office earlier today he told me that there was no insurance coverage available and asked was I ready to buy his product. When I told him I needed to think about it as it was a substantial expense, he got angry, belligerent, and even threatening and said he couldn't make money with a customer returning multiple times and he asked me to leave.

She recommended Dr. Arrieta, but the first available appointment I could grab was with Dr. Fernandez. Making the appointment was super easy online, and so was the online check-in process. The doctor's office is located in the Whole Foods Market building in the Gables, so parking in the garage is a breeze. I arrived late to my appointment due to traffic, but was still seen within ten minutes. I've been having issues with hoarseness and Dr. Fernandez was super friendly and conducted a videostroboscopy to assess the state of my vocal chords. He clearly explained to me the procedure and the results, and also gave me treatment for my symptoms. Overall my stay at the office was under 45 minutes. Since the process to make your appointment and also check in and pay the co-pay is online before you arrive, checking out was a breeze. The office staff was friendly, the location was clean and I had a great experience.

He saw Mr. Edwin Feijoo, whom he says is an outstanding individual. Mr. Feijoo was patient, understanding and truthful. He started off by telling him, that he didn't need a hearing aid based on his hearing loss. When my husband explained about the tinnitus, Mr. Feijoo knew exactly what he was going through, and was very understanding and companionate. They spent over an hour going through all of the hearing aid options, never once pushing to make a sale. Mr. Feijoo explained everything in detail and selected a hearing aid that was suitable for him. He would highly recommend Mr. Feijoo and this Miracle Ear Store.
