Simply the best! I was apprehensive, even reluctant to get…read morehearing aids. The staff could not have been more friendly and patient. I am now enjoying life with the ability to clearly hear others speak, watch tv, and once again going to a movie theater. I wish would have gone to see them sooner. I cannot thank the staff enough.

One of the problems people have with hearing aids is the frequent need to change batteries. The doctor had mentioned these to her before but said the technology wasn't good enough at the time. Now, apparently, they improved so she ordered a pair on the doctor's recommendation. When we arrived they were so friendly. They seem to know everyone who is a patient - greeting them when they arrive. When the doctor came out to greet my mother, she hugged her. That is not what I expected. That is one reason for the five-star review. The other reason is she stands by her products. I'm not sure what the hearing aids cost, but expect they were not cheap. Mom tried them out and said the quality of the audio was much better than her old ones. We left, finished our other errands, then went back to her home. We plugged them in and the next morning they weren't working. So, we went back. The doctor saw us right away and asked if we could leave them with her for a couple of hours so she could test them out. When we returned, she gave us a new pair. Now they work fine. Fortunately, I don't have problems with my hearing (yet). But if I did, and I lived in the area, I'd certainly come here.

Doctor Yen is the most obnoxious and rude Dr I have ever dealt with. I have been having issues on…read moreand off with my sinus, that over the years can cause severe headaches and have been trying to narrow done possible causes. My initial visit which was 10 months prior we went over the process of diagnosing. He said well the only way to tell if there was an issue was a cat scan, however insurance would require some sort of treatment plan first to prove we needed to move forward for them to cover it. So granted because I have always suffered from headaches and have a busy schedule, compounded by concerns on coverage I did wait. However that is my problem, and if I could endure the pain that is on me, it doesn't take away the fact that I am experiencing issues. I finally moved forward with getting the scan done and made a follow-up. As soon as he walks in the door he immediately in an aggressive manner starts going over my results telling me that the radiologist misdiagnosed me and that he sees nothing in the nasal cavity however he does see something in the back but there is no way to be certain what that is and it could just be I had mucus at the time of the scan, and it could be or may not be what causes my headaches, and he would not operate on an unknown certainty (granted I never mentioned anything about going in that direction, never even had a chance to voice what I may or may not want.), He then proceeds to dress me down in such a condescending manner saying besides the fact that I waited this long it must not be that serious cause I waited so long. He is talking a 100 miles an hour at me, dressing me down, basically making me feel like I did something wrong, like I am wasting his time. He made me feel like I had no right to ask questions. I could barely get in anything to say because he was so busy telling me about how I waited so it can't be that bad. And rambling on about the operation and why he wouldn't operate because he has no further info to go on and I would have to take another scan, but in 3 months and I asked him why so long. (That got him upset, and his response was well you waited 10 month whats three more month, so basically no real logic other then spite.) I explained to him that I would not be taking the Flonase because honestly it was doing nothing for me and just making my symptoms worse. I also explained to him I personally don't think that was just mucus because the scan was taken 3 weeks ago and I could still feel pressure. I also explained that I had such a severe headache yesterday I almost pasted out. (He is like well I don't deal with headaches, maybe go see a neurologist, fair enough, don't have to be ass about it.) Boy he showed he did not like the fact that I was looking for additional feedback. Starts rambling on again his refusal to operate how he would get paid regardless and that it would be irresponsible. Mean while I am just sitting there thinking to myself what bug crawled up his butt today to warrant this type of treatment towards a patient. I feel like it was a setup from the second he walked in that this was the direction he was going in to get rid me as a patient. He finally flips out when he starts to address an urgent care visit from 3 months ago which I am like what does this have anything to do with my ongoing issue man turns around all huffing tells me he is done. I am like wait what. Like what the hell, it was like he was having a mood swing. Every patient has a right to care, and ask questions and look for feedback in a respectful manner. You have no idea what a patient may be going through that pushes them to delay treatment. And every patient is entitled to look for answers to what could be a potential cause for issues. Just because a patient is capable of enduring pain for long periods of time does not mean they are not entitled to answers or resolution. As we age our bodies change, what I could manage in the past is not the same today. This Doctor needs to work on his mighter then thou attitude.
