Mike started us with complimentary bread that came with truffle butter and truffle balsamic oil. The dipping sauces were sooo good. I personally would have preferred a bread crispy crust type of a bread for the dipping. Then we had scallops with tomato pesto sauce that were absolute perfection. I never really loved scallops until I tried Mike's scallops! They melted in your mouth. We also had the shrimp cups in a phyllo cup with guacamole! It is such a perfect summer appetizer. Absolutely delicious! We also had steak bites that were covered in a chimichurri. I wish the sauce was on the side. It was a lil bit spicy for some. I have had egg white wraps, breakfast burritos & french toast for breakfast. I have also had a couple different sandwiches for lunch (El Guapo is so good, it's a must have), along with their iced coffee. Everything I have had has been 5 stars. The quality and portions of food is amazing. They have a very nice store, with a handful of tables to dine in. There are "to go" sandwiches freshly made that come with a bag of chips. Super convenient if you are in a rush and don't have the few extra minutes to wait for them to make a sandwich. Service is fast, and the staff as well as the owner are super friendly. My client is diabetic so ordering and reordering is easy thanks to this. There is a fair range of selections of entrees in the way of protein and vegetable sides. The meal portions are maybe slightly bigger than a lean cuisine so it may not be for everyone as those portions can be a bit meager. I had one of the meals that my client didn't want - pork tenderloin, carrots, and string beans. I heated it in the oven as recommended and the pork was not bad, nor were the beans. They went a bit heavy on the carrots though. This is only one meal of many however and my client overall has a favorable opinion of them, his favorite being the "American glazed meatloaf" Top Chef has come through in a big way for me with delivering about 2 weeks worth of meals for my client that come about three days after ordering it (If it isn't before the weekend). With the rising popularity of heat and eat and fast prep meal kits, like Hello Fresh, Blue Apron and more this is great for elderly, disabled or otherwise, perhaps people who have next to no time to cook. with a nice selection, good packaging, quick delivery and even a senior discount I'm very satisfied with Top Chef Meals.
