When scheduling my massage I selected a female. After being walked to my room a man knocked on the door and asked if I was ready and I said No twice and he opened the door anyways while I was not dressed. I let them know I wanted a female and the rest of the experience was good. Not a very relaxing environment but you get what you pay for. read more

Wonderful service, had a "couples" massage with my daughter - we were in the same room. She was sore from dance and vball. My shoulder and neck were tight despite yoga and meditation. Too noisy because there are no fully enclosed therapy rooms (hear everyone coming in the front door and talking),plus the towel they used to put under my legs was really wet with oil and looked dirty. If you get chilled easily they don't have anything but a really thin, very small sheet and a towel. Maybe a good place though for a quick light massage or a 30 minute one but not if you are looking for really relaxing, quiet, comfortable massage experience. Also, communication was kind of difficult. Wish I could have given a better review for them. read more

They told us a time to come back because they were busy with it being a Saturday. The massage was really good and reasonably priced. The only negative: this is a mom and pop shop with very few employees. So, while massaging us, they would have to walk off to answer the phone or door. read more

I was having a problem with a stiff neck and went there for a light massage. Right off the gentleman that led me to the massage room didn't speak enough English to explain to take off upper clothing. He had to pull on my top and point. Okay fine, but then the massage lady comes in and uses sign language to tell me to lay down with head in the pillow. I tried telling her I wanted a "gentle " massage but since she didn't understand me she proceeds to use her elbow into my back causing more pain, I said "No" just gently please and she laughed and kept pushing into my back. I set an appointment for my daughter to have a relaxing massage when she came home from college one weekend, requesting massage by a female. My daughter went without me, she's 18. The man that was at the front didn't understand that she had an appointment with a female. She selected the Swedish massage from the sign when he pointed at it. He took her to the back and walked in on her when she was changing so she had to cover herself quickly & uncomfortably. During the massage he was hurting her even after she said she wanted less pressure the he was using his elbow, which is used during deep tissue. So if that's what you like this is the place for you. She told him that it hurt and he continued. This may be a good place for others but it was NOT a good experience for us. I understand communication barriers among other languages. Getting a massage puts you in a vulnerable position & an intimate setting. I am just posting so if you want a typical spa experience, this isn't it. We definitely had a discussion about what hand and body language looks like when you are telling someone to quit and they aren't listening or understand your words. read more

My suggestion is to tell your masseuse in advance with what areas you want to focus on - if you don't tell them they don't know. He worked very hard on my entire body, unlike some massage therapist who spend to long doing the easy work of fingers and toes. This isn't our first massage place we have been to, but it was the worst experience my fiance and I ever had. We first walked into the room and we were about to take our clothes off, but not even 10 seconds later someone was beating on the door asking if we were ready. Of course we said no and she said okay. Then literally 20 seconds went by and she did the same thing. We laid down so the massage could begin, and I noticed that she acted like she didnt want to touch my skin. She made sure that the sheet was inbetween so that she never touched my skin. The sheet was very rough and throughout the massage it was very uncomfortable and I never felt relaxed. What really disappointed me was when she got to my feet she did the same thing. During her massaging my feet with the sheet around, I felt a sharp pain. I instantly knew my pinky toenail peeled back. Then the woman that massaged my fiance left for 15 minutes to go and talk on the phone in the middle of his massage and had the nerve to finish before my massage was finished. Once they left the room I told my fiance my toe was in a lot of pain. I showed it to him and my nail was hanging off and almost completely detached. This was my first time getting a massage. I got a gift certificate for an early birthday present, so I wanted to pamper myself. It was run just like an asian nail salon. My therapist kept leaving the room to take care of customers at the front. The walls were open at the top and you could hear EVERYTHING in the whole building. Even creepy moaning sounds from another room. There were kids running and playing in the hall, who my "therapist" kept yelling at over the wall. It was the longest hour of my life. It was a little cold the whole time. I was glad I left my bra and panties on because I felt very exposed covered with only a tin white sheet. If this is what massages are like, no thank you.
